Cavitation is a challenging flow abnormality that leads to undesirable effects on the energy performance of the centrifugal pump and the reliable operation of the pump system. The onset and mechanism of a phenomenon that results in unsteady cavitation must be realised to ensure a reliable operation of pumps under the cavitation state. This study focuses on cavitation instability at normal flow rate, at which point the unsteady cavitation occurs as the available net positive suction head (NPSHa) falls below 5.61 m for the researched pump. An ameliorative algorithm–united algorithm for cavitation vibration analysis is proposed on the basis of short time Fourier transform (STFT) and Wigner–Ville distribution (WVD). The STFT–WVD method is then tested using vibration data measured from the centrifugal pump. The relationship between vibration and suction performance indicates that the inception and development of cavitation can be effectively detected by the distribution and intensity of the united algorithm at the testing points. Intermediate frequency components at approximately 6 kHz fluctuate initially with the development of cavitation. A time–frequency characteristic is found to be conducive to monitoring the cavitation performance of centrifugal pumps.

Chemical investigation of an Antarctic deepseaderived fungus Penicillium sp. PR19 N-1 yielded fivenew eremophilane-type sesquiterpenes 1–5 and a new rarelactam-type eremophilane 6, together with three knowncompounds 7–9. The structures of these diverse sesquiterpeneswere determined by extensive NMR and massspectroscopic analyses. Compounds 1, 2, 4–6, 8 and 9 wereevaluated for their cytotoxities against HL-60 and A-549human cancer cell lines, and 5 was the most active one withIC50 value of 5.2 lM against the A-549 cells.
Sinusoidal Map Jumping Gravity Search Algorithm Based on Asynchronous Learning
Xinxin Zhou,Guangwei Zhu 한국정보처리학회 2022 Journal of information processing systems Vol.18 No.3
To address the problems of the gravitational search algorithm (GSA) in which the population is prone toconverge prematurely and fall into the local solution when solving the single-objective optimization problem,a sine map jumping gravity search algorithm based on asynchronous learning is proposed. First, a learningmechanism is introduced into the GSA. The agents keep learning from the excellent agents of the populationwhile they are evolving, thus maintaining the memory and sharing of evolution information, addressing thealgorithm’s shortcoming in evolution that particle information depends on the current position informationonly, improving the diversity of the population, and avoiding premature convergence. Second, the sine functionis used to map the change of the particle velocity into the position probability to improve the convergenceaccuracy. Third, the Levy flight strategy is introduced to prevent particles from falling into the localoptimization. Finally, the proposed algorithm and other intelligent algorithms are simulated on 18 benchmarkfunctions. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm achieved improved the better performance.

Two new meroterpenoids, arisugacins I (1) andJ (2), together with five known meroterpenoids includingarisugacin B (3), arisugacin F (4), arisugacin G (5), territremB (6) and territrem C (7) were isolated from anendophytic fungus Penicillium sp. SXH-65. Their structureswere determined by extensive spectroscopic experimentsand comparison with literature data. Theircytotoxicities were evaluated against Hela, HL-60 andK562 cell lines, and only 3 and 4 exhibited weak cytotoxicitiesagainst Hela, HL-60 and K562 cell lines withIC50 values ranging from 24 to 60 lM.
