The friendship between China and Pakistan is higher than mountains, deeper than oceans, sweeter than honey, and harder than steel. The two countries are good neighbors, good friends and good brothers and all-weather strategic partners. The friendship between China and Pakistan can endure time and difficulties and will grow stronger over time, however the economic connectivity between the two countries lag behind the politically good relations. In order to further integrate China-Pakistan relations economically, during Chinese President Xi Jinping’s visit to Islamabad in April 2015, the heads of the two countries finalized the construction of the flagship project of China s “Belt and Road” initiative, the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor in which China promised to provide Pakistan with US$46 billion in infrastructure and energy projects in the form of loans and investment within 15 years, and later increased the total to US$62 billion. The construction of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor is progressing smoothly, and some early harvest projects have fulfilled interconnection. At the beginning of 2020, the world suffered from a disease rare in a few centuries. In the joint prevention and control of the pandemic, China and Pakistan have truly realized mutual assistance and regardless death and lethality, which is a real model of international cooperation. The joint efforts of the two countries to fight the epidemic include mutual assistance of materials, exchange of expert meetings, information sharing and mutual morality support internationally.
Curriculum of Homecoming and Pedagogy of Responsibility as the Future of Home Economics Education

Looking back to the beginnings of home economics and how it has evolved over the years, I suggest that the future of home economics education lies in (a) revisiting the name and initial goals of the profession in conjunction with adopting (b) a curriculum of homecoming (borrowed from Wes Jackson and Wendell Berry) as well as (c) a pedagogy of responsibility, a term used by educational scholars based on the work of Wendell Berry.
Strengthening Financial Markets

The experience of market disruption during the recent financial crisis has focused attention on the requirements for increasing the resilience of financial markets. Theoretical research has provided new insights into the sources of "market freezes." These models offer new explanations for the sudden drying up of liquidity in terms of adverse selection, ambiguity aversion, coordination failure, hoarding and market manipulation. The challenge is to make use of these insights to help design better regulatory frameworks and improve the structure of the financial system. Reform of the regulatory framework has taken the form of increasing capital requirements and liquidity coverage ratios(Basel Ⅲ) and restricting proprietary trading(Dodd-Frank), but it does not attempt to reform the structure of the financial sector. The analysis of the moral hazard created by bailouts suggests that institutions that are "too big (interconnected, important, complex) to fail"(TBTF) should be eliminated. Equally, the analysis of market freezes suggests that innovations in the "parallel banking system"(PBS) have the potential to provide a more resilient structure for the financial system, but there has been no attempt to revive the PBS. The failure to eliminate TBTF or revive the PBS represents a lost opportunity and leaves the financial system vulnerable to future crises.
BIM and Fire Safety Engineering - Overview of State of The Art

Fire safety engineering is a critical specialization to include in the design of a tall building yet is often excluded from the Building Information Model (BIM) and integrated design process. The design of fire safety systems is interdependent with building/structural geometry, HVAC, mechanical, and electrical systems. A BIM is a 3D visual representation that stores data on these kinds of systems. The compatibility between BIM and fire safety design seems obvious yet has received a dearth of attention in structural (fire) engineering literature. The authors herein have reviewed over 40 recent papers on utilizing BIM for fire safety engineering, focusing on contemporary literature to obtain a more up-to-date review of the state-of-the-art. The resulting trends, technologies, research gaps, and methodologies are presented in this paper. Adoption of BIM in fire safety engineering is slow and behind other disciplines which may be improved if research involved more industry partners. For BIM technology to reach its potential, industry manufacturers need to provide high LOD fire BIM objects, fire engineers and researchers need to collaborate on future advancements, and building owners/management need to be educated on how to use the benefits provided.
