The goal of the study is to examine and assess how the factors of logistics service quality provided by logistics service providers influence customer loyalty and satisfaction in Vietnam. This study employs samples of the Kansei technique. The article’s data was gathered through an online survey of 388 distinct Vietnamese customers who used logistics services before and during the Covid-19 outbreak. After the data was obtained, it was evaluated using SmartPLS 3.0’s Cronbach’s Alpha test and structural equation model (SEM). Staff service quality, operational service quality, and technical service quality are the three factors that determine the quality of logistics services in the study. Out of the 10 proposed hypotheses, research findings show that five are acceptable. The Covid-19 Pandemic in Vietnam had a significant impact on all dimensions, but it had no effect on how satisfied customers were with the logistics service providers. Nevertheless, loyalty is considerably influenced by only one factor, which is customer satisfaction, and customer trust moderates the relationship between these two factors. As a consequence of that, several managerial implications have been proposed to help logistics service providers improve their services to attract and keep Vietnamese customers using their service in the long term.

Pandemics and Economic Complexity: A Cross-Country Analysis

This paper is the first attempt to empirically examine the impact of pandemics on economic complexity in a cross-country setting. We employ a unique and recently developed measure of pandemic intensity, which is the World Pandemic Discussion Index. Using panel-corrected standard error regressions on a panel dataset of 90 countries from 1996 to 2019, we find that an increase in pandemic discussion could reduce economic complexity. Further heterogeneity tests show that this detrimental effect of pandemics only occurs in emerging and low-income countries, or in countries with low levels of institutional quality. By using mechanism analysis,wealso find that pandemics reduce economic complexity via deteriorating the quality of human capital. These findings are robust to a comprehensive battery of robustness and sensitivity checks. Overall, our paper could provide valuable implications for policy makers in devising measures to support the economic recovery process post-pandemics.

무선네트워크에서 노드의 에너지를 고려한 종단간 안정성 있는 메시지 전송 프로토콜

멀티홉 무선네트워크에서 메시지 전송 경로는 경로 탐색 과정을 통해 설정하게 되는데 일반적으로 최단경로를 이용하게 된다. 그러나 이러한 경로는 네트워크 중앙부근의 노드들을 많이 이용하여 에너지 사용의 불균형 및 혼잡 발생 확률을 높여 메시지 전송 안정성을 떨어뜨리는 문제가 발생한다. 본 논문에서는 노드들의 잔여 에너지량을 고려하여 종단간 안정성 있는 메시지 전송 라우팅 프로토콜을 제안한다. 제안한 프로토콜은 링크성능평가척도로 ETX (Expected Transmission Count) 를 사용하며, 경로설정시 노드의 잔여 에너지량이 적은 노드들을 회피함으로써 경로 고장 확률을 줄이고 이로 인한 메시지 손실을 최소화하도록 하고 있다. 제안한 프로토콜의 성능을 평가하기 위해 QualNet 시뮬레이터를 이용하여 성능측정을 수행하였고, 이를 기존의 라우팅 프로토콜들과 비교하였다. 성능측정 결과 종단간 메시지 전송률 및 메시지 전송지연시간 등에 있어서 기존 신뢰성 보장 프로토콜인 MRFR 프로토콜과 유사하였지만 노드들의 부하균등성 측면에서 MRFR 프로토콜 보다 우수함을 보였다. In multi-hop wireless networks, a message transmission path is set up on demand by a route discovery step, where a shortest path is used in general. The shortest path, however, normally uses the nodes near the center area, which causes a high traffic load in that area and reduces the message transmission reliability. We propose a stable routing protocol considering the remaining energy of nodes. Our protocol uses ETX as a link performance estimator and tries to avoid the nodes with smaller energy. By doing this, we can reduce the route failure probability and packet loss. We have evaluated the performance of the proposed protocol using QualNet and compared with AODV and MRFR protocols. The simulation result shows that our protocol has a similar performance as MRFR in terms of end-to-end message reception ratio, average message delay and delay jitter, but outperforms MRFR in terms of traffic load distribution.

Link Quality Estimation in Static Wireless Networks with High Traffic Load

Effective link quality estimation is a vital issue for reliable routing in wireless networks. This paper studies the performance of expected transmission count (ETX) under different traffic loads. Although ETX shows good performance under light load, its performance gets significantly worse when the traffic load is high. A broadcast packet storm due to new route discoveries severely affects the link ETX values under high traffic load, which makes it difficult to find a good path. This paper presents the design and implementation of a variation of ETX called high load - ETX (HETX) , which reduces the impact of route request broadcast packets to linkmetric values under high load. We also propose a reliable routing protocol using link quality metrics, which is called link quality distance vector (LQDV). We conducted the evaluation of the performance of three metrics - HETX, ETX and minimum hopcount. The simulation results show that HETX improves the average route throughput by up to 25% over ETX under high traffic load. Minimum hop-count has poor performance compared with both HETX and ETX at all of the different traffic loads. Under light load, HETX and ETX show the same performance.

The objective of this article is to assess the impact of corporate social responsibility (CSR) implementation on Corporate Brand Value (CBV) and Corporate Financial Performance (CFP). At the same time, the article examines the mediated role of CBV on the relationship between CSR implementation and CFP. In-depth interviews and observation techniques were used in this article on 4 experts to collect qualitative information. Quantitative analysis was based on primary data obtained from 454 employees working at enterprises providing Bancassurance services. The article uses various models of Cronbach's Alpha coefficient, Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA), Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA), and Structural Equation Analysis (SEM) using SPSS 22.0 and AMOS 20.0 software. In addition, a 5-point Likert scale is used to measure observed variables. Research results show that CBV plays an intermediate role in the relationship between CSR implementation and CFP. At the same time, the implementation of CSR toward communities, customers, and workers directly impacts CBV and CFP. The article draws a new conclusion; there is no relationship found between the implementation of CSR and CFP. The result proposes implications for the state and Bancassurance service providers to develop and implement CSR-related policies and activities to enhance their brand value and financial performance.
