      • Research on Crash Recovery Strategy for Distribution Network Containing DG

Di Bai,Tieyan Zhang,Zheng Yang 보안공학연구지원센터 2015 International Journal of Grid and Distributed Comp Vol.8 No.3

In order to fully utilize DG and improve system reliability, the author puts forward the rash recovery strategy for distribution network with DG. It adopts the heuristic method by taking DG as the source point of research for distribution network power recovery. Based on simplifying the network through improving branch method with the consideration of purposes of network damage to minimum extent and switch action time, it conducts reconstruction after the crash. It optimizes the power supply recovery strategy according to the load transfer condition after the crash in order to minimize the damage to distribution network caused by blackout. It conducts example test at IEEE33 node and IEEE69 node to verify the validity of this scheme.

      • Association of a Pre-miR-27a Polymorphism with Cancer Risk: an Updated Meta-analysis

        Bai, Rong-Pan,Weng, Yu,Su, Li-Ling,Jin, Ming-Juan,Xu, Zheng-Ping,Lu, Li-Qin,Chen, Guang-Di Asian Pacific Journal of Cancer Prevention 2014 Asian Pacific journal of cancer prevention Vol.15 No.23

MicroRNA-27a is highly expressed in cancers and has been identified as an oncogenic microRNA. A genetic variant in pre-miR-27a (rs895819) with a transition of A to G has been demonstrated to be associated with cancer risk; however, the results of these studies remain conflicting rather than conclusive. Therefore, we performed a meta-analysis to derive a more precise estimation. Through searching PubMed or other databases up to March 2014 using the following MeSH terms and keywords, "miR-27a", "polymorphism" and "cancer", seventeen case-control studies were identified in this meta-analysis, including 7,813 cases and 9,602. Crude odds ratios (ORs) and corresponding 95% confidence intervals (CIs) were calculated to investigate the association strength between rs895819 and the susceptibility of cancer. The results of the overall meta-analysis did not suggest any association between rs895819 polymorphism and cancer susceptibility, and this remained in Asians as a subgroup. In Caucasians, however, the rs895819 was associated with a reduced cancer risk in heterozygous (OR, 0.83; 95%CI, 0.75-0.93) and dominant models (OR, 0.84; 95%CI, 0.76-0.93), and the [G] allele of rs895819 showed a protective effect (OR, 0.90, 95%CI, 0.84-0.97). Further studies showed a significant association between the [G] allele of rs895819 and decreased risk of breast cancer (0.91; 95%CI, 0.85-0.98), and stratified analyses indicated a protective effect of the [G] allele in Caucasians (OR, 0.89; 95%CI, 0.82-0.98), younger breast cancer cases (OR, 0.87; 95%CI, 0.79-0.96), and in the group of unilateral breast cancer patients (OR, 0.90; 95%CI, 0.83-0.97). These findings suggest an association between pre-miR-27a polymorphism rs895819 and cancer risk in Caucasians. The protective effect of rs895819 [G] allele in younger breast cancer and in the group of unilateral breast cancer patients await further confirmation since the included studies in this meta-analysis were limited.

      • Research of Control Strategy on DC Side of Hybrid Energy Storage in Micro Grid

        Tieyan Zhangi,Di Bai,Zheng Yang,Zhibin Long,Baiyu Gao 보안공학연구지원센터 2016 International Journal of Grid and Distributed Comp Vol.9 No.9

The uncertainty and fluctuation brought by distributed type of intermittent power generation in micro grid bring huge challenges to power quality of micro grid in isolating operation and power control in parallel operation. Nevertheless energy storage is able to well solve this problem. Hybrid energy storage integrates the respective advantages of storage battery and supercapacitor to have improved the performance of energy storage system. Service life of storage battery is tightly related to its charging/discharging times and problem of frequent charging/discharging storage battery still exists in current hybrid energy storage technology. In this paper, it respectively puts forward control strategies for storage battery and supercapacitor. As to control strategy for storage battery, it uses double-layered control strategy, namely, single loop control and power hysteresis control, to feedback low-frequency fluctuation of power and reduce charging/discharging frequency of storage battery. As to control strategy for supercapacitor, it uses inner loop current with power to control voltage in outer loop so as to feedback high-frequency fluctuation of power and it is able to well maintain stability of DC bus voltage. Simulation results suggest the validity of aforesaid control strategies.

Modeling and Neuro-Fuzzy Adaptive Attitude Control for Eight-Rotor MAV

        Xiangjian Chen,Di Li,Yue Bai,Zhijun Xu 제어·로봇·시스템학회 2011 International Journal of Control, Automation, and Vol.9 No.6

This paper focuses on modeling and intelligent control of the new Eight-Rotor MAV which is used to solve the problem of low coefficient proportion between lift and gravity for Quadrotor MAV. The dynamical and kinematical modeling for the Eight-Rotor MAV was developed which has never been proposed before. Based on the achieved dynamic modeling, two types of controller were presented. One type, a PID controller is derived in a conventional way with simplified dynamics and turns out to be quite sensitive to sensor noise as well as external perturbation. The second type controller is the Neuro-Fuzzy adaptive controller which is composed of two type-II fuzzy neural networks (T-IIFNNs) and one PD controller: The PD controller is adopted to control the attitude, one of the T-IIFNNs is designed to learn the inverse model of Eight-Rotor MAV on-line, the other one is the copy of the former one to compensate for model errors and external disturbances, both structure and parameters of T-IIFNNs are tuned on-line at the same time, and then the stability of the Eight-Rotor MAV closed-loop control system is proved using Lyapunov stability theory. Finally, the validity of the proposed control method has been verified through real-time experiments. The experimental results show that the performance of Neuro-Fuzzy adaptive controller performs very well under sensor noise and external disturbances, and has more superiority than traditional PID controller.

      • Involvement of FoxM1 in Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer Recurrence

Xu, Nuo,Wu, Sheng-Di,Wang, Hao,Wang, Qun,Bai, Chun-Xue Asian Pacific Journal of Cancer Prevention 2012 Asian Pacific journal of cancer prevention Vol.13 No.9

Background: Predictive biomarkers for lung cancer recurrence after curative tumor resection remain unclear. This study set out to assess the role of FoxM1 in the recurrence of non-small cell lung cancer. Methods: Immunohistochemistry for FoxM1 expression was performed on paraffin-embedded tumor tissues from 165 NSCLC patients. Association of FoxM1 expression with clinicopathological parameters and disease free survival were evaluated. Results: Our results indicated FoxM1 expression to be significantly associated with poorer tissue differentiation (P =0.03), higher TNM stage (P <0.01), lymph node metastasis (P <0.01), advanced tumor stage (P <0.01), and poorer disease free survival (P <0.01). Multivariable analysis showed that FoxM1 expression increased the hazard of recurrence (hazard ratio= 1.96, 95% CI, 1.04-3.17, P <0.05), indicating that FoxM1 is an independent and significant predictor of lung cancer recurrence. Conclusion: Therefore, FoxM1 is an independent risk factor for recurrence of NSCLC. Elevated FoxM1 expression could be used as an indicator of poor disease free survival.

β-1,3-Glucan/CR3/SYK pathway-dependent LC3B-II accumulation enhanced the fungicidal activity in human neutrophils

        Ding Li,Changsen Bai,Qing Zhang,Zheng Li,Di Shao,Xichuan Li 한국미생물학회 2019 The journal of microbiology Vol.57 No.4

Since molecular genotyping has been established for the Candida species, studies have found that a single Candida strain (endemic strain) can persist over a long period of time and results in the spread of nosocomial invasive candidiasis without general characteristics of horizontal transmissions. Our previous study also found the existence of endemic strains in a cancer center in Tianjin, China. In the current study, we performed further investigation on endemic and non-endemic Candida albicans strains, with the aim of explaining the higher morbidity of endemic strains. In an in vivo experiment, mice infected with endemic strains showed significantly shorter survival time and higher kidney fungal burdens compared to mice infected with non-endemic strains. In an in vitro experiment, the killing percentage of neutrophils to endemic strains was significantly lower than that to non-endemic strains, which is positively linked to the ratio of LC3B-II/I in neutrophils. An immunofluorescence assay showed more β-1,3-glucan exposure on the cell walls of nonendemic strains compared to endemic strains. After blocking the β-glucan receptor (CR3) or inhibiting downstream kinase (SYK) in neutrophils, the killing percent to C. albicans (regardless of endemic and non-endemic strains) and the ratio of LC3B-II/I of neutrophils were significantly decreased. These data suggested that the killing capability of neutrophils to C. albicans was monitored by β-1,3-glucan via CR3/SYK pathway-dependent LC3B-II accumulation and provided an explanation for the variable killing capability of neutrophils to different strains of C. albicans, which would be beneficial in improving infection control and therapeutic strategies for invasive candidiasis.

      • Study on the Control and Projective Synchronization of a New Fractional-order Chaos System

        Shao Ke-Yong,Chen Bai-Quan,Wang Ting-Ting,Xu Xiang,Zhang Ting-Ting,Ma Di 보안공학연구지원센터 2016 International Journal of Multimedia and Ubiquitous Vol.11 No.10

In this paper, a new fractional-order chaotic system was studied, and the basic dynamic properties of the new system were analyzed. The control of the new system in unstable equilibrium point was realized by designing the reasonable nonlinear controller. Further, we investigated the projective synchronization problem about fractional order chaotic systems with different dimensions, the appropriate controller was designed to achieve the projective synchronization of a four-dimensional drive system and a three-dimensional response system by reducing the dimension. With the numerical simulation of Matlab, the feasibility of the scheme was verified.

A New Model-free Robust Adaptive Control of Cable-driven Robots

        Yaoyao Wang,Lufang Liu,Mingxing Yuan,Qingxun Di,Bai Chen,Hongtao Wu 제어·로봇·시스템학회 2021 International Journal of Control, Automation, and Vol.19 No.9

For high performance control of cable-driven robots, a new model-free robust adaptive control is proposed using adaptive proportional-integral-derivative nonsingular fast terminal sliding mode (PID-NFTSM) in this paper. The designed control scheme has three elements, which are time-delay estimation (TDE) and a new PIDNFTSM manifold and a combined adaptive reaching law. The TDE element is applied to achieve the lumped system dynamics and hence founds a practical model-free structure. Meanwhile, a new PID-NFTSM manifold is designed to inherit the advantages of the NFTSM and high-order SM (HOSM) and integral SM (ISM) controls. Because of this design, the PID-NFTSM manifold can effectively ensure the non-singularity and high comprehensive control performance. Then, by combining the fast-TSM-type reaching law and a constant speed one with adaptive gain, we design a new combined adaptive reaching law for performance reinforcement. Benefiting from above three parts, our proposed control is model-free, highly precise and strongly robust. Stability is analyzed using Lyapunov theory. The effectiveness of our control is proved by comparative simulation studies.
