        서울 남촌지역 가로 및 건물특성 조사연구

        The image and the scenery of a city is made up by the relative space composition method of its elements-streets, plots, and buildings. At the first stage of the city development, the streets are formed by parceling the land and on this basis, the buildings are constructed. This basic structure of the city would function as an urban environment. The city would start to work with more functions as it develops, and it would operate as a foundation for the future development of the city. This study is to analyse the physical urban form and environment by studying the present urban tissues. The regional area of this study will be limited to the city blocks at the center of Seoul, south of the Chunggae river. The streets in this area are in various widths, I-2m up to 20m, the total length of the streets is 7,64.5m. The area consists of 10 administrative districts, 1,740 plots, 1,284 buildings, and streets. This study would focus on understanding the physical characteristics of the city by classifying the streets to 4 groups according to their formation and changing process, grasping the meaning of the space structure by analysing the physical characteristics of the buildings and their usage as well as the three dimensional urban space structure made by the buildings along the streets, and consideration of the role of the urban tissues as the urban infrastructure.

        역사환경으로서의 도시조직의 가치 : 서울 남촌지역을 중심으로

        The purpose of this study is to analyze the urban tissues In terms of its historical environment The historical environment has an effect on the physical characteristics of a city and the physical environment is decided and changed by the interaction of Its components such as the street systems, plots and buildings The city of Seoul had been formed based upon Its natural elements, and Its street system had been built up along with Its waterway system The waterway is the main contextual factor of the irregular alley system of the old Seoul, which has been one of the main historical environment of the City for the last 600 years By analysing the historical maps and documents, the actual building documents, and the survey result of the several blocks in the City, this study would present that the Irregular geometrical configuration of Seoul was based upon Its waterway systems and the urban configuration has been affected by It's urban tissues In terms of historical environment for hundreds of years The study also suggests that It would be important to cons1der this historical urban environment of Seoul as a guideline of the future urban planning of the city

        디자인 조형교육으로서의 건축설계수업 방법에 관한 연구

        본 논문은 대학의 건축설계수업에서의 효과적인 디자인 교육의 방법을 모색하고자 하는 연구로서 디자인 교 육이론을 바탕으로 하는 건축설계 교육모형과 이를 적용한 수업사례를 중심으로 디자인 조형교육으로서의 건축설계 교육의 가능성을 고찰하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 본 연구에서 제시된 교육모형과 건축설계수업은, 조형 표현력과 조형 이론의 학습, 그리고 기본기능의 훈련과 같은 기초디자인 교육내용을 포함하고 있으며, 수업의 각 과정이 단계별 완 성도를 갖고 연속되고, 심층적 발전의 형식을 갖는다는 점에서 건축설계를 위한 기초교육으로서 종합적인 디자인 능 력 계발이라는 교육의 목표를 달성할 수 있는 교육모형의 하나가 될 수 있다고 판단된다. This study is to explore the contents and composition of architectural design studio. The purpose of this study is to seek after the potentiality of architectural design education as a formative design dealing with the morphologic difference between solid and void, and to present the effective process of design education for architectural design studio in terms of creative thinking.

        창의적 조형교육을 위한 대안적 건축설계수업에 관한 연구

        The Purpose of this study are to explore formative education as an architectural design education which aims to develop the creativity by training, and to present the compositional guideline and educational model of architectural design education based on basic design education theory, and to present the components and contents of formative education, and to propose the teaching methods of alternative architectural design studio. For the study of compositional guideline and educational model of architectural design education, examine the theory of architectural design education of Michael Jordan, and the basic design education model of David Kal. For the study of creative thinking training method, present the components and contents of creative formative education, and propose the teaching methods of each stage of creative formative education of alternative architectural design studio as a basic design education by appling the results of examining the contents of the Cognitive Research Trust Thinking Program. The importances of results of this study are presenting the theoretical guideline of components and contents of study for architectural design studio as a basic design education, and the alternative architectural design education model.

      • KCHO-1, a Novel Antineuroinflammatory Agent, Inhibits Lipopolysaccharide-Induced Neuroinflammatory Responses through Nrf2-Mediated Heme Oxygenase-1 Expression in Mouse BV2 Microglia Cells

        <P>The brain is vulnerable to oxidative stress and inflammation that can occur as a result of aging or neurodegenerative diseases. Our work has sought to identify natural products that regulate heme oxygenase (HO)-1 and to determine their mechanism of action in neurodegenerative diseases. KCHO-1 is a novel herbal therapeutic containing 30% ethanol (EtOH) extracts from nine plants. In this study, we investigated the antineuroinflammatory effects of KCHO-1 in lipopolysaccharide- (LPS-) treated mouse BV2 microglia. KCHO-1 inhibited the protein expression of inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS), iNOS-derived nitric oxide (NO), cyclooxygenase- (COX-) 2, and COX-2-derived prostaglandin E2 (PGE<SUB>2</SUB>) in LPS-stimulated BV2 microglia. It also reduced tumor necrosis factor-<I>α</I> (TNF-<I>α</I>), interleukin-1<I>β</I> (IL-1<I>β</I>), and IL-6 production. This effect was correlated with the suppression of inhibitor of nuclear factor kappa B-<I>α</I> (I<I>κ</I>B-<I>α</I>) phosphorylation and degradation and nuclear factor kappa B (NF-<I>κ</I>B) translocation and DNA binding. Additionally, KCHO-1 upregulated HO-1 expression by promoting nuclear translocation of nuclear factor E2-related factor 2 (Nrf2) in mouse BV2 microglia. Tin protoporphyrin (SnPP), an HO activity inhibitor, was used to verify the inhibitory effects of KCHO-1 on proinflammatory mediators and proteins associated with HO-1 expression. Our data suggest that KCHO-1 has therapeutic potential in neurodegenerative diseases caused by neuroinflammation.</P>

        장소성의 개념을 적용한 건축공간 계획에 관한 연구

        본 연구는 장소성의 개념을 건축공간 계획에 적용하고자 하는 설계연구이다. 본 연구의 계획 대상지는 영국 런던의 템스 강으로 강을 따라 이동하고 필요에 따라 강변에 정박하여 사용할 수 있는 건축물을 계획하는 것이다. 본 연구의 진행은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 장소성과 무장소성, 그리고 비장소성에 대한 이론적 고찰과 템스 강이 갖는 특수한 성격의 장소성을 분석한다. 둘째, 장소와 건축물과의 관계, 건축물의 형태, 그리고 사용자의 행위의 세 가지 관점에서 각각의 계획개념을 계획안에 적용될 수 있는 계획요소로 정리한다. 셋째, 정리된 계획요소를 건축 프로그램으로 구체화하여 최종 결과물로서의 영국 런던의 템스 강에 부유하는 복합문화공간 계획안을 제안한다. 본 연구에서 주목한 것은 건축물의 인식과 건축물을 사용하는 사람들의 행위가 상호보완적으로 장소성을 형성한다는 것으로 본 연구에서 제안하는 계획안은 건축물이 위치하는 템스 강의 물리적, 자연적, 그리고 물질적 특성을 건축물이 최대한 수용할 수 있도록 하여 건축물 그 자체에 의한 장소성이 아니라 은유적으로 표현될 수 있는 내재되어 있는 속성으로서의 장소성을 구현한다는 의미를 갖는다. This study is an architectural design thesis aimed at designing a building at the River Thames in London, which could float along the river and be anchored in the river, in terms of the concept of the sense of place. The process of the study was as follows. First, theoretical backgrounds of the concepts of sense of place, placelessness, and non-place were examined and the sense of place of River Thames was analyzed. Second, the architectural planning elements could be applied to architectural design in terms of the relationship between the place and architecture, form of architecture, and behaviors of peoples. Third, the architectural design concepts and programs were specified based on the planning elements and a cultural complex that floats on the River Thames in London, England was proposed. The focus of this study was the process of formation of a sense of place by the cognition of architecture and people"s activity, and this study claimed that the sense of place could be materialized by the metaphorically inherent property of the architecture.

        도시 공공공간으로서의 성남 모란 민속5일장 계획에 관한 연구

        본 연구는 도시 재래시장의 기능과, 시장이 점유하는 공간을 도시의 다른 활동과 공유할 수 있는 가능성을 고찰하고 이를 위하여 필요한 계획요소와 공간계획방법을 바탕으로 성남시 모란 민속5일장 계획안을 제시하고자 하 는 연구이다. 이를 위하여 기존의 재래시장이 갖고 있는 문제점과 그 개선방안을 살펴보고, 이를 건축 프로그램과 공간구성요소로 정리하며, 본 연구의 대상인 성남 모란시장의 특성인 5일마다 열리는 정기시장으로서의 시장의 기능 과 시장이 열리지 않는 기간 동안의 공간 활용을 동시에 만족시킬 수 있는 계획요소를 구체화하여, 도시 공공공간으 로서의 모란 민속5일장 계획안을 제시한다. The purpose of this study is to explore the possibility of the planning method of traditional market as the urban public open space and to attempt to create the essential reformation of traditional market place. The design concepts of the Moran traditional market project are establishing module system based on function of traditional market to accomplish the practical needs of vendor and consumer and expressing the liquid and autonomic characteristics of Moran traditional market to find the new and substantial schemes of public open space. The functional design module of the market place is based on 2.1m x 2.1m grid system which is minium market unit, and it is extended to 8.4m x 8.4m basic structural module and to 50.4m x 50.4m plaza unit.

        창의적 사고기능 훈련의 관점에서의 기초디자인 교육으로서의 건축설계교육에 관한 연구

        The purpose of this study is to find out the possibile education methodology developing creativity in the process of formative education in the architectural design studio for the effective creativity education in the formative training as an architectural design education, to understand the theory of creative thinking education, to compare and analyze the application tools of creative thinking training and the contents of study in the basic design education, and to analyze and evaluate the student performance criteria of architectural design studio from the creative thinking education point of view. For this purpose, examine the six category of CoRT which was developed by Cognitive Research Trust in England as a theory of creative thinking training method, and analyze the contents of formative education in the basic architectural design studio for the 1st year students of the department of architecture at the university by the creative thinking training tools of six category in CoRT for the training methods of creative thinking.

        기초디자인 교육으로서의 건축설계교육에 관한 연구

        The purpose of this study is to explore the effective method of architectural design education as a basic design education for the 1st year students of the department of architecture at the university by examining the contents and structure of the architectural design studio. For this purpose, the contents and results of the architectural design studio are compared with the contents of basic design course of the Bauhaus, and analysed by the structure of the theory of basic design education by Michael Jordan and David Kal. The results are as follows. First, the contents of the architectural design studio in this study meet the requirements of the curriculum of basic design course of the Bauhaus such as ability of dealing with basic formative elements, basic training course of form composition, and basic skill for architectural design. Second, the structure of the architectural design studio in this study fulfill the requirements of the theory of basic design education by Michael Jordan and David Kal, such as continuity, consecutiveness, overlapping in architectural deign education, and holistic experience.
