Strategic approach methods which make successful introduction of EC are required for the enlargement of EC for business competence and stabilization. The primary purpose of this study is to suggest the EC strategy classification in the level of business strategy for the enlargement of business competence, and to show the EC service classification and EC marketing strategy in the level of function strategy. Secondly, I want to practise the three following verifications to establish unity between two strategies (EC strategy classification and EC marketing strategy), and one classification (EC service classification). I verify the difference between the EC service classifications according to EC strategy classification in verification one. I verify the difference between the EC marketing strategies according to the EC strategy classification in verification two. I verify the difference between the EC service classification according to the marketing strategy. By these verifications, it is possible to establish the business strategy (which is the upper strategy) and the practice strategy (which is the under strategy) for the business which wants the introduction of EC.
Candida utilis에 의한 Cytidine 5'-diphosphate Choline의 발효생산

CDP-choline is known as an intermediate of lecithin biosynthesis, and as an important drug for nervous diseases of the brain. For the bioconversion of CMP and choline to CDP-choline, ATP is required as an energy source. In these studies, the biosynthetic reaction of CDP-choline was coupled with ATP regenerating system by glycolysis. As a microorganism containing the highest conversion activity of CMP and choline to CDP-choline, Candida utilis ATCC 42416 was selected. The optimum reaction condition were 50mM choline chloride, 20mM CMP, 100mM potassium phosphate (pH8.0), 300mM glucose, 50mM MgSO₄, 10% dried cells with shaking incubation at 30℃. The reaction was thus performed for 10 hours under the above optimum conditions. The concentration of CDP-choline was 16mM (80% in conversion ratio).

To increase mobility of an unmanned ground vehicle (UGV), this study describes the use of forward-looking imaging radar applying ultra-wideband radar technology. If radar is able to visualize images with high resolution in front of a UGV, the radar can be used to support the vehicle by detecting obstacles through foliage. This system employs the multi-input/double-output configuration with two transmitting horn antennas to increase cross-range resolution. Also, two rows of physical receiving antenna arrays provide the height information of targets using an interferometer principle. For visualizing objects in front of the radar, the back-projection method is applied to the data acquired from the receivers. A field test is used to verify the effectiveness of the new radar system. The performance of the radar is proved experimentally by the analysis of image resolution, grass-penetrating capability, and target height information.
Separation and Characterization of Spikelet Proteins at Young Microspore Stage in Rice

Spikelet proteins expressed at the young microspore stage in rice were separated and analysed by two-dimensional polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (2DE). The separated proteins were electro blotted onto a polyvinylidene difluoride (PVDF) membrane, and 50 proteins were analyzed by a gas-phase protein sequencer. The N-terminal amino acid sequences of 20 out of 50 proteins were determined. N-terminal regions of the remaining proteins could not be sequenced because of blocking. The internal amino acid sequences of proteins were determined by sequence analysis of peptides obtained by the Cleveland peptide mapping method. Results revealed the presence of the photosynthetic apparatus at rice young microspore stage. Major proteins identified in this study could be used as a marker for various studies on physiological stresses.
확공성과 비확공성 대퇴골 금속정 사용에 따른 치료결과의 비교

Purpose : To evaluate the effectiveness between reamed and unreamed nailing in the treatment of femoral shaft fracture. Materials and Methods: Among the patients of femoral shaft fracture who were treated with reamed and unreamed nail, we reviewed 49 patients whose follow-up was possible for more than 1 year. The patients were divided into two groups: the reamed and the unreamed group. We reviewed union time, nonunion rate, complication and operation time and compared the effectiveness. Results: The average union time was 30.6 weeks in unreamed group and 27.8 weeks in reamed group, which was not different statistically. There were 5 cases of nonunion in 22 unreamed cases and 3 cases in 27 reamed cases, which meant no statistical difference. There was no significant difference of complications between the two groups. The mean operation time was 141 minutes in reamed group and 110 minutes in unreamed group, which meant statistical difference. Conclusion: There was no significant difference in union time, nonunion rate and comlication between reamed and unremed group. The operation time was shorter in unreamed group, so unreamed nailing can be preferred in the treatment of multiply injured patient.

Methotrexate is often used in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus for effective disease controlsand steroid- sparing, and has been known to involve the development of lymphoproliferative disorders for patients with autoimmune diseases. We report a case of spontaneous regression of Epstein-Barr virus-positive methotrexate-associated Hodgkin`s lymphoma in a 24-year-old woman with systemic lupus erythematosus. Following 6 months of treatment with low-dose methotrexate, the patient developed a neck mass in the right submandibular area. A computed tomography scan of the neck, chest and abdomen revealed multiple enlarged lymph nodes. Excisional biopsy of the neck masses confirmed infiltrations of malignant lymphoid cells that were positive for CD15, CD30, and Epstein-Barr virus-encoded RNA. Reduction of the mass was observed 3 weeks after withdrawing from the methotrexate treatment. At 7 months after initial presentation, computed tomography revealed near-complete regression of lymphadenopathy. After 30 months, the patient was still in complete clinical remission.
Prediction of Rice Embryo Proteins using EST-Databases

An attempt was made to link rice embryo proteins to DNA sequences and to understand their functions. One hundred of the 700 spots detected on the embryo 2-DE gels were microsequenced. Of these, 28% of the embryo proteins were matched to DNA sequences with known functions, but 72% of the proteins were unknown in functions as previously reported (Woo et al. 2002). In addition, twenty-four protein spots with 100% of homology and nine with over 80% were matched to ESTs (expressed sequence tags) after expanding the amino acid sequences of the protein spots by Database searches using the available rice EST databases at the NCBI (http://www/ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/) and DDBJ (http://www.ddbj.nig.ac.jp/). The chromosomal location of some proteins were also obtained from the rice genetic map provided by Japanese Rice Genome Research Program (http://rgp.dna.affrc.go.jp). The DNA sequence databases including EST have been reported for rice (Oryza sativa L.) now provides whole or partial gene sequence, and recent advances in protein characterization allow the linking proteins to DNA sequences in the functional analysis. This work shows that proteome analysis could be a useful tool strategy to link sequence information and to functional genomics.

낮은 고도로 접근하는 고속 표적을 탐지 및 추적하기 위해 사용하는 K 대역의 FMCW(Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave) 레이다의 송수신기 설계 방법을 제안한다. 송신기는 레이다 유효 반사 면적(RCS : Radar Cross Section)이 작은 표적의 추적 및 넓은 송신 안테나 빔 폭으로 인해 고출력이 요구되며, 수신기의 경우는 인터페로메타 방법을 이용하여 표적을 추적하기 위해 다채널 수신기가 요구된다. 송신기는 고출력 송신 증폭기와 도파관 스위치 및 주파수 상향 변환 기판으로 구성된다. 수신기는 5 채널 수신기, 중간 주파수 상향 및 하향 변환 모듈, X 대역 국부 발진기 및 파형 발생 모듈로 세분화 할 수 있다. 제안한 구조를 제작하기 전에 모델링 및 시뮬레이션 방법을 통해 여러 파라메타를 측정함으로써 가능성을 입증한다. 그리고 제안한 송수신기를 산업용 부품을 사용하여 제작하고 성능 파라메타를 측정하였다. 그 결과, 송신기 출력은 39.64 ㏈m, 수신기 이득은 29.1 ㏈이며, 그 외 모든 설계 요구 조건을 만족함을 입증하였다. This study is to design FMCW radar transceiver of K-band which is used to detect and track approaching high speed targets with low altitude. The transmitter needs high output power due to small RCS targets and wide beamwidth of transmit antenna. Multi-channel receivers are required to detect and track targets by interferometer method. Transmitter consists of high power amplifier, waveguide switch, and frequency up-converter. Receiver is composed of five channel receivers, up and down converters, X-band local oscillator and waveform generator. Before manufacturing it, the proposed architecture of transceiver is proved by modeling and simulation using several parameters. Then, it is manufactured by using industrial RF components. The performance parameters are measured through experiment. In the experiment, transmitting power and receiver gain were measured with 39.64 ㏈m and 29.1 ㏈, respectively. All other parameters in the specification were satisfied as well.
