        설화그림카드를 활용한 자기성장 집단 문학치료 프로그램 사례연구 : <해와 달>그림카드를 중심으로

        이 연구에서는 자기성장을 원하는 참여자들이 설화 <해와 달이 된 오누이>와 <해와 달이 된 오누이>설화 그림카드를 활용한 ‘다시쓰기’ 활동을 하고, 이를 집단 문학치료프로그램에서 나누는 과정을 통해 ‘부모로부터의 심리적 독립’을 탐색해볼 수 있도록 하였다. 설화 선정은 참여자들이 <해와 달이 된 오누이>에 대해 ‘부모로부터의 심리적 독립’의 이야기로 읽고 반응한다는 기존 연구를 근거로 이루어졌다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 연구 참여자 대부분은 자신이 부모에게 바라는 욕구에 대해 알아차릴 수 있었다. 둘째, 참여자들은 부모와의 관계를 탐색하거나 재조정해보는 통찰을 얻을 수 있었다. 셋째, 설화뿐 아니라, 제시된 설화 그림카드는 참여자들이 정서적 갈등을 투사하고 촉진하도록 도울 수 있었다. 넷째, ‘다시쓰기’ 전과 후, 설화 그림카드 작업들은 참여자들이 이야기의 방향과 줄거리, 주인공을 선정하는 데에도 효과적인 역할을 하였다. 문학치료에서 이야기를 재구성하는 과정이 자신의 내면을 탐색하는 데 있어 효과적이라는 것은 조은상의 이전 논문에서 검증된 결과이나, 설화 그림카드를 개발하여 활용하는 것은 아직 연구 중에 있다. 추후 지속적인 연구를 통해 설화 그림카드의 유용성과 효과성에 대한 검증이 이루어져야 하겠지만, 이 연구를 통해 설화 그림카드를 설화와 함께 사용하는 것이 참여자들이 내면에 있는 갈등을 투사하는 데에 효과적이고, 보다 명확히 자신의 내면을 표현할 수 있도록 도움을 주었음이 밝혀졌다는 점이 이 연구의 의의라 하겠다. In this study, participants wanting to mature, engaged in ‘re-writing’ activities using a folktale “The Brother and Sister Who Became the Sun and the Moon” and folktale picture cards <The Brother and Sister Who Became the Sun and the Moon>, and explored their psychological independence from their parents through sharing their stories in a group setting. This specific folktale was selected based on existing research where participants read and responded to “The Brother and Sister Who Became the Sun and the Moon” as a story of psychological independence from parents. The results of the study are as follows. Firstly, most of the participants in the study were able to recognize what they need from their parents. Secondly, participants were able to gain insights necessary for exploring or readjusting the relationship with their parents. Thirdly, the suggested folktale picture cards along with the folktale were useful for the participants to project and examine their emotional conflicts. Lastly, before and after re-writing activities, the folktale picture card work played an effective role in participants choosing the direction, plot, and protagonists of their stories. Even though the effectiveness of reconstructing stories in literary therapy to explore one’s inner self has been researched in previous studies, such as Cho Eun Sang’s papers, the topic of developing and utilizing folktale picture cards is still being explored. This study examined the ways in which using folktale picture cards in a literary therapy group helped participants project their inner conflicts and express themselves more clearly and effectively. This study also suggests that future studies will verify the usefulness and effectiveness of folktale picture cards.

        Characteristic electronic perturbation by asymmetric arrangements of p-aminophenyl substituents in free-base porphyrins.

        <P>We have investigated the perturbed electronic properties of meso-substituted free-base porphyrins with symmetric and asymmetric arrangements of substituents using time-resolved spectroscopic measurements and theoretical calculations. The extent of electronic perturbation by substituents in meso-substituted porphyrins is mainly affected by the isoenergetic condition of frontier MOs of porphine and substituent units, nonorthogonal geometry, and geometrical arrangement of substituents. By using the asymmetric arrangements of p-aminophenyl and pentafluorophenyl substituents, we can induce the electron-rich condition on the porphine unit and the intramolecular charge transfer character in the excited state. On the basis of this work, we can gain further insight into the energetic and geometric factors of substituents, the interaction between porphine and substituent units, and the perturbed photophysical and electronic properties by substituents, which provides a firm basis for further understanding of the catalytic activities or photophysical properties of porphyrins in porphyrin-based molecular catalysts and electronics.</P>

      • Effect of 1-allyl-1-methylpyrrolidinium chloride addition to ethylmagnesium bromide electrolyte on a rechargeable magnesium battery

        <P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>The ionic liquid 1-allyl-1-methylpyrrolidinium chloride was investigated as an additive to an ethylmagnesium bromide Grignard solution, for use as an advanced electrolyte in rechargeable Mg batteries. Electrochemical studies showed that the addition of the ionic liquid significantly enhanced the anodic limit of the Grignard solution by about 1V and improved the coulombic efficiency and the kinetics of Mg deposition-stripping reactions on the negative electrode. We have also demonstrated that the Grignard solution containing the ionic liquid works well as an electrolyte in a prototype cell consisting of a Mo<SUB>6</SUB>S<SUB>8</SUB> Chevrel phase cathode and a Mg metal anode, where the original Grignard electrolyte does not function properly.</P> <P><B>Highlights</B></P> <P> <UL> <LI> AMPyrCl is evaluated as an additive for a rechargeable Mg battery electrolyte. </LI> <LI> AMPyrCl significantly enhances the anodic stability of EtMgBr by about 1V. </LI> <LI> AMPyrCl improves the coulombic efficiency and kinetics of Mg deposition and stripping. </LI> <LI> AMPyrCl works well in a prototype cell consisting of a Mo<SUB>6</SUB>S<SUB>8</SUB> cathode and Mg anode. </LI> </UL> </P>

      • Efficacy and Safety of Entecavir and Tenofovir in Chronic Hepatitis B Patients with Chronic Kidney Disease: Multicenter, Retrospective Cohort Study

        Aims: We investigate the efficacy and safety of entecavir (ETV) versus tenofovir (TDF) in treatment-naïve chronic hepatitis B (CHB) patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD) in real life setting. Methods: A total of 1,349 naïve CHB patients treated with ETV or TDF at least 1 year in 9 academic hospitals from Jan. 2012 to Dec. 2015 were enrolled. Among them, 44 patients had CKD at enrollment. CKD was defined as glomerular filtration rate <60ml/min/1.73m2. Renal functional decline was defined when serum creatinine level increased by more than 50% from baseline or over than 0.3 mg/dL at 1 year Results: A total of 44 patients (ETV=30 and TDF 14) were followed up for a median 28 months. There were no significant differences in cumulative biochemical response rate and culmulative HBeAg seroconversion rate between the ETV group and the TDF group at weeks 12, 24, and 48 of treatment. However, there were significant differences in culmulative virologic response rate between the ETV group and the TDF group at weeks 12, 24, and 48 of treatment (14%/31%/55% vs.14%/64%/86%, P =0.022). Renal functional decline occurred in 13 (29.5%) patients. Renal functional decline showed no significant difference between the ETV group and TDF group (33% vs. 21%, P=0.420). In multivariate analysis, serum albumin was an independent factor associated with renal functional decline (odd ratio, 0.28; confidence interval, 0.08- 0.95; P=0.041). However, age, sex, BMI, DM, hypertention, baseline HBV-DNA level, HBeAg positivity, cirrhosis, baseline renal function, bilirubin level, platelet count, hemoglobin level, ascites and treatment regimen were not associated with renal functional decline in CHB patient with CKD. Conclusions: TDF had better clinical efficacy than ETV in CHB patient with CKD. This study suggests that close monitoring of renal function are required for CHB patients with CKD and low albuminemia who are receiving antiviral agents.

      • Nanoimprinted photonic crystal color filters for solar-powered reflective displays

        <P>A novel concept for reflective displays that uses two-dimensional photonic crystals with subwavelength gratings is introduced. A solar-powered reflective display with photonic crystal color filters was analyzed by a theoretical approach. We fabricated the photonic crystal color filters on a glass substrate by using low-cost nanoimprint lithography and multi-scan excimer laser annealing to produce RGB color filters through a single patterning process. The theoretical and experimental results show that the color filters have high reflectance and angular tolerance, which was qualitatively confirmed by chromaticity coordination analysis.</P>

        Effect of Catalyst Layer Ionomer Content on Performance of Intermediate Temperature Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cells (IT-PEMFCs) under Reduced Humidity Conditions

        <P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>For intermediate-temperature polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cells (IT-PEMFCs), the effects of the cathode gas flow rate and the ionomer content are experimentally examined at 120°C under conditions of low relative humidity (RH). The IT-PEMFC operation at low RH should be beneficial in developing compact systems with smaller humidifiers. First, analysis of the effect of gas flow rate at various current densities confirms that drying of the membrane electrode assembly (MEA) is an important factor in IT-PEMFC operation, whereas cathode flooding becomes significant in regions of high current density with low flow rates. Then, MEAs with various contents of Aquivion™ ionomer are fabricated, and the combined effect of drying and flooding is further investigated by IT-PEMFC tests at various RH conditions and current densities. The optimum ionomer content increases with decreasing current density at 20% RH or below, indicating that MEA drying becomes dominant over cathode flooding.</P>

        High-Frequency Bistatic Scattering from a Corrugated Sediment Surface

        High-frequency bistatic scattering measurements from a corrugated surface were made in an acoustic water tank. First the azimuthal scattering pattern was measured from an artificially corrugated surface which has varying impedance. The corrugated surface was installed both transverse to the direction of incident wave and longitudinal to the direction of incident wave. The angle between the corrugated surface and the direction of the incident wave was about $45^{\circ}$. Second, the scattering strengths were measured from the flat sediment and the corrugated sediment. A critical angle of about $37^{\circ}$ was calculated in the acoustic water tank. The measurements were made at three fixed grazing angles: $33^{\circ}$ (lower than critical angle), $37^{\circ}$ (critical angle), and $41^{\circ}$ (higher than critical angle). The scattering angle and the grazing angle are equal in each measurement. Frequencies were from 50 kHz to 100 kHz with an increment of 1 kHz. The corrugated sediment was made transverse to the direction of the incident wave. The first measurement indicates that the scattering patterns depend on the relations between the corrugated surface and the direction of the incident wave. In the second measurement, the data measured from the flat sediment were compared to the APL-UW model and to the NRL model. The NRL model's output shows more favorable comparisons than the APL-UW model. In case of the corrugated sediment, the model and the measured data are different because the models used an isotropic wave spectrum of sediment roughness in the scattering calculations. The isotropic wave spectrum consists of $w_2$ and ${\gamma}_2$. These constants derived from sediment names or bulk size. The model which used the constants didn't consider the effect of a corrugated surface. In order to consider a corrugated surface, the constants were varied in the APL-UW model.

        Trabecular thickness measurement in cancellous bones: postmortem rat studies with the zoom-in micro-tomography technique

        <P>Using the cross-sectional images taken with the zoom-in micro-tomography technique, we measured trabecular thicknesses of femur bones in postmortem rats. Since the zoom-in micro-tomography technique is capable of high resolution imaging of a small local region inside a large subject, we were able to measure the trabecular thickness without extracting bone samples from the rats. For the zoom-in micro-tomography, we used a micro-tomography system consisting of a micro-focus x-ray source, a 1248 ? 1248 flat-panel x-ray detector and a precision scan mechanism. To compensate for the limited spatial resolution in the zoom-in micro-tomography images, we used the fuzzy distance transform for the calculation of the trabecular thickness. To validate the trabecular thickness measurement with the zoom-in micro-tomography images, we compared the measurement results with those obtained from the conventional micro-tomography images of the extracted bone samples. The difference between the two types of measurement results was less than 2.5%.</P>
