The purpose of this paper is to establish some coupled coincidence point theorems for a pair of mappings having a strict mixed g-monotone property satisfying a contractive condition of rational type in the framework of partially ordered metric spaces. Also, we present a result on the existence and uniqueness of coupled common fixed points. The results presented in the paper generalize and extend several well-known results in the literature.

In this paper, we first prove a common fixed point theorem for generalized nonlinear contraction mappings in complete metric spaces there by generalizing and extending some known results. Then we present this result in the context of ordered metric spaces by using monotone non-decreasing mapping.

Approximation of Drygas functional equation in quasi-Banach space

In this paper, we investigate the Hyers-Ulam-Rassias stability for a Drygas functional equation \begin{equation*} g( u + v ) + g( u - v ) = 2g(u) + g (v)+ g(-v) \end{equation*} in the setting of quasi-Banach space using fixed point approach. Also, we give general results on hyperstability of a Drygas functional equation. The results obtain in this paper extend various previously known results in the setting of quasi-Banach space. Some examples are also illustrated.
