Purpose: Many university students are under a lot of job-seeking stress because the employment rate is low. This study sought to determine the relationship between job-seeking stress, self esteem, self efficacy and appearance management behavior amongst university students focusing on nursing. Methods: This descriptive correlational study evaluated the relationships between job-seeking stress, self esteem, self efficacy and appearance management behavior of 340 university students was conducted between September 1 and October 5, 2015. Results: The correlational analysis between job-seeking stress, self esteem, self efficacy and appearance management behavior revealed a negative correlation between job-seeking stress, self esteem and self efficacy and a positive correlation between job-seeking stress and appearance management behavior. In addition, age also correlated with self esteem, self efficacy and appearance management behavior. Conclusion: Stress correlated with self esteem and self efficacy and appearance management behavior. Therefore job-seeking stress may be reduced through not only self esteem and self efficacy enhancement programs but also management according to age.

After treating a patient suffering from pelvic inflammatory disease, a significant result is gained as follows. This study was done from the patient who were at the oriental Medicine Hospital of Daejeon university during 15 days, from 12. 12 to 12. 26, 2001. A 27-year-old patient had complained an abdominal pain, chest discomfort, nausea, vomiting, urination difficulty and constipation. During the hospital periods, the kinds of therapy are acupuncture, moxibustion, herb-med and physical therapy. Given the treatment, she felt so satisfied about her symptom's improvement. But as a result of Ultrasonogram of pelvis, she had multiple follicles on the right ovary, so it had to be given a surgical operation. For the surgical operation, she was transferred to the Chungnam University Hospital

경북 지역 종가(宗家)의 다식에 관한 연구

The objective of this study was to review Dasik's recipe of Jong-Ga in the Gyeongbuk area. Main methods of this study were literature review and in-depth interview. To study the historical transition of traditional Dasik, analysis of 11 cooking books from the 1400's to 1800's was carried out. Jong-Ga was made using Dasik and main ingredients were Songhwa, Kka and Kong Dasik. Special Dasik was in nine of Jong-Ga (Ipjae's head family of Pungyang Jo's clan, Sojea head family Gwangju No's clan, Sawoodang head family Uiseong Kim's clan, Heobaekdang's head family of Bukye Hong's clan, Taechon's head family of Gyeseong Go's clan, Gwiam's head family of Gwangju Lee's clan, Songdang's head family of Milyang Park's clan, Haeweol's head family of Pyeonghae Hwang's clan, Galyam's head family of Jaeryoung Lee's clan) and Dasik are Gamphi dasik, Heukimja dasik, Baksulgi dasik, Tibap dasik, Daechu dasik, Yukpo dasik, Misutgaru dasik, Dotori dasik and Omija Dasik. It was used as a ritual food and reception food for guests. These recipes are good examples of functional and modern of Korean food. In the future, Dasik as well as discovery of ingredients in other foods of Jong-Ga are needed

<i>Vigna angularis</i> inhibits IL-6-induced cellular signalling and ameliorates collagen-induced arthritis

<P><B>Objectives.</B> The present study was conducted in order to assess whether extracts or isolated compounds from <I>Vigna angularis</I> were able to suppress IL-6 signalling and to show the therapeutic effect on collagen-induced arthritis (CIA) in mice.</P><P><B>Methods.</B> The effect of <I>V. angularis</I> on IL-6 signalling was studied by measuring Stat3-dependent luciferase activity, expression of inflammation-related genes, and phosphorylation of Janus kinase 2 (JAK2), signal transducer and activator of transcription 3 (STAT3) and extracellular signal-regulated kinase (ERK) induced by IL-6. CIA was induced by immunizing with bovine type II collagen. <I>V. angularis</I> extract (VAE) was administrated orally at 50 and 100 mg/kg from day 1 to day 28. Induction of arthritis was evaluated with a visual scoring system and histological analysis.</P><P><B>Results.</B> Extracts or two triterpenoid compounds from <I>V. angularis</I> showed potent inhibitory effects on pSTAT3-inducible luciferase activity, STAT3 tyrosine phosphorylation and the expression of inflammation-related genes induced by IL-6. Administration of VAE significantly suppressed the progression of CIA, accompanied by a reduced antibody response to type II collagen and protection from tissue damage in knee joints.</P><P><B>Conclusion.</B> Administration of VAE has a therapeutic effect on CIA and this effect is associated with the inhibitory activity on IL-6/STAT3 signalling. These results suggest that extracts or compounds from <I>V. angularis</I> could be a useful treatment for diseases related to IL-6, including RA.</P>

Reciprocal Lattice Explorer의 原理와 使用法

Reciprocal lattice explorer는 de Jong-Bouman camera와 Buerger precession camera를 合친것이다. 이 explorer를 使用하면 goniometer에 한번 固定한 試料를 使用하여 그 試料의 空間群을 決定하는데 必要한 모든 寫眞을 撮影할 수 있으며 그들은 찌그러지지 않은 逆格子面의 寫眞들이다. 本 論文에서는 de Jong-Bouman 과 Buerger precession 寫眞術의 原理와 使用法을 記述 하였고 또한 de Jong-Bouman의 振動寫眞과 zeroth layer 寫眞으로부터 11個 Laue群의 識別方法도 提示하였다. The reciprocal lattice explorer is an instrument which incorporates the principles of both the Buerger precession and the de Jong-Bouman methods. On the explorer all photographs which are necessary for a space group determination can be taken with a single setting of a crystal and the photographs show undistorted pictures of the reciprocal lattice planes. In this paper, the principles and the usages of the de Jong-Bouman and the Buerger precession photography are described, and a method of 11 Laue group identification using the de Jong-Bouman oscillation and zeroth layer photographs is shown.

太谿穴의 臨床 活用에 대한 文獻考察

Literally, the mean of Tae-gye is highest brook. And on the basis of the acupuncture theory, Tae-gye point is the Soo earth point and source point of the Kidney Channel as well. In addition, Tae-gye point is one of the Yang-Returning Nine points. We were trying to study bibliographically on the Tae-gye point because Tae-gye point can be used very broadly across the symptoms in the theoretical aspect described above. As a results, we found out that according to the classical books of acupuncture, Tae-gye point is entering point of the Meridian Water as a source point and can be used at both Kidney-Sufficient Syndrom and Kidney-Deficient Syndrom. And Tae-gye can be applied to the disease of kidney or bladder that is urogenital symtoms, Also, Tae-gye is an useful option of tooth-ache, asthma, indigestion, constipation, edema etc whose cause is related with decrease of Kidney ki.

Survey of spider fauna in organic rice fields

거미는 산림 및 농작물 해충의 천적으로 알려져 있으며, 겨울철 벼 재배지에서 볏짚이나 논둑 등에 월동한다. 이 연구는 월동시기부터 모내기 전까지 유기 벼 재배지에 서식하는 거미상을 알아보기 위해 수행하였다. 거미의 발생을 조사하기 위해 함정트랩을 이용하였고, 농업과학원 유기재배포장에서 2018년 1월 중순부터 5월 중순까지 2주 간격으로 총 8회에 걸쳐 거미를 채집하였다. 조사가 이루어진 논은 거미가 월동 서식처로 이용할 수 있도록 볏짚을 걷어내지 않은 상태로 유지하였다. 조사 결과 6과 15종 359개체의 거미가 채집되었다. 그 중에서 애접시거미가 119개체(33%)로 가장 많았고, 들늑대거미(23%), 턱거미(17%), 각시긴손접시거미(8%) 순으로 나타났다. 또한 4월 중순(7회)에 가장 많은 개체가 채집되었고, 채집이 이루어질수록 거미의 개체수가 증가하는 경향을 보였다.

A Study on Mutual Legal Assistance in Criminal Matters to TRANSNATIONAL THREATS in Northeast Asia

Technological and economic development after the World War II promoted the increase of the free movement of goods, services and people, which led to globalization. Contrary to positive expectations for the globalization, it has brought negative side effects such as globalization of crime and international disorder by illegal subnational actors. The phenomenon of international disorder as a dysfunctional element in the process of globalization is expected to increase more rapidly in the future. One of these threats is transnational crime. Transnational crime refers to crimes related to two or more sov-ereign states, such as the subject, object, act, the benefit, and outcome of a crime. As these transnational crimes increase, closer cooperation with foreign countries is required for prevention, investigation, prosecution, trial and punishment of crime. However, it is questioned whether the traditional system of mutual legal assistance in criminal matters can be played as an effective countermeasure against transnational crimes becoming globalized and widened both quantitatively and qualitatively. Therefore, it is emphasized that the need to reorganize the existing system of mutual legal assistance in criminal matters to be effective. Based on these problems, the purpose of this study is to find ways to build international cooperation on police activities in Northeast Asia for transnational threats, focused on transnational crimes. Due to the various problems inherent in the traditional legal mutual assistance in criminal matters, actual cooperation on mutual legal assistance in criminal matters is not often achieved. Moreover, the new type of mutual legal assistance in criminal matters as bilateral treaties has not been joined in Northeast Asia, and coop-eration through international criminal police organizations may concern about violation in human rights. Therefore, it is necessary to discuss how to prevent and suppress these crimes while promoting free movement of individuals and exchange and cooperation. In this article, one of these problematic situations was discussed the international cooperation plan of police activities and suggested the recommendations for improvement.
