<P>X-ray computed laminography is widely used in nondestructive testing of relatively flat objects using an oblique scanning configuration for data acquisition. In this work, a new scanning scheme is proposed in conjunction with the compressive-sensing-based image reconstruction for reducing imaging radiation dose and scanning time. We performed a numerical study comparing image qualities acquired by various scanning configurations that are practically implementable: single-arc, double-arc, oblique, and spherical-sinusoidal trajectories. A compressive-sensing-inspired total-variation (TV) minimization algorithm was used to reconstruct the images from the data acquired at only 40 projection views in those trajectories. It was successfully demonstrated that the proposed scanning scheme outperforms the others in terms of image contrast and spatial resolution, although the oblique scanning scheme showed a comparable resolution property. We believe that the proposed scanning method may provide a solution to fast and low-dose nondestructive testing of radiation-sensitive and highly integrated devices such as multilayer microelectronic circuit boards.</P>
Facile synthesis of rGO/PANI/ZnO ternary nanocomposites for energy storage devices

Due to the dire energy needs and the unavailability of energy storage devices, supercapacitors have become an inescapable substitute for energy storage systems. As a high energy density electrode material, we offer rGO/PANI/ZnO ternary nanocomposite designed via the polymerization method and are characterized by various analytical techniques. The results show that rGO/PANI/ZnO has the best capacitive behavior, with a specific capacity of 1546 F/g at 2 mV/s on the eggshell membrane electrode (ESME). The nanocomposite rGO/PANI/ZnO, on the other hand, presented the best cycling stability, retaining 97% of capacity after 3000 cycles. This is due to the fast transfer of electrons between rGO/ZnO and PANI in an electrochemical charge storage device. This research encompasses an enhanced flexible PANI-based electrode to become viable innovative wearable sensor alternative.

<P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>To seek the new medicinal potential of sulfadiazine drug, the free amino group of sulfadiazine was exploited to obtain acyl/aryl thioureas using simple and straightforward protocol. Acyl/aryl thioureas are well recognized bioactive pharmacophore containing moieties. A new series (<B>4a</B>–<B>4j</B>) of sulfadiazine derived acyl/aryl thioureas was synthesized and characterized through spectroscopic and elemental analysis. The synthesized derivatives <B>4a</B>–<B>4j</B> were subjected to calf intestinal alkaline phosphatase (CIAP) activity. The derivative <B>4a</B>–<B>4j</B> showed better inhibition potential compared to standard monopotassium phosphate (MKP). The compound <B>4c</B> exhibited higher potential in the series with IC<SUB>50</SUB> 0.251 ± 0.012 µM (standard KH<SUB>2</SUB>PO<SUB>4</SUB> 4.317 ± 0.201 µM). Lineweaver-Burk plots revealed that most potent derivative <B>4c</B> inhibition CIAP via mixed type pathway. Pharmacological investigations showed that synthesized compounds <B>4a</B>–<B>4j</B> obey Lipinsk’s rule. ADMET parameters evaluation predicted that these molecule show significant lead like properties with minimum possible toxicity and can serve as templates in drug designing. The synthetic compounds show none mutagenic and irritant behavior. The ability to predict the thermal transport properties of electrical, electronic, and mechanical components becomes increasingly important as characteristic material sizes shrink to the micron and nanometre scale. The maximum hot-spot temperature is one of the thermal and electrical effi ciency design constraints. In this paper, the thermal analysis of a three-phase induction machine is investigated by means of replacing the winding materials. The temperature distribution is evaluated from a two-dimensional fi nite element approach, using COMSOL Multiphysics software. The temperature rise has been analyzed when conventional winding materials are substituted by novel nanomaterials, namely, carbon nanotube, carbon nanotube aluminum, and carbon nanotube copper composite wires. Overall, the proposed model with carbon nanotube copper composite wire winding machine shows better thermal performance among the studied carbon-based winding materials. Thus, we conclude that the carbon nano-based materials for thermal management in electrical machine winding provide a viable and eff ective alternative to existing materials.

A great variable response was observed when PP-3 and PP-J encumbered with 116 populations of root knot nematode (RKN) at two different temperatures ($25{\pm}2^{\circ}C$ and $30{\pm}2^{\circ}C$) and concentrations ($10^4$ and $10^5$ spores/ml). The PCR reaction amplified intergenic region between cytochrome oxidase subunit II gene (COII) and large subunit of rRNA gene (lrRNA) of the mitochondrial genome of different RKN species. The primer C2F3 and 1108 identified M. incognita with the highest frequency (52.6%) followed by M. javanica (36.8%) and M. arenaria (10.5%). The sizes of PCR products were 1.7 kb for M. incognita and M. javanica populations while populations of M. arenaria produced 1.1 kb fragment. The digestion with Hinf I yielded three different fragment length patterns on 1.5 % agarose gel. From current research it is concluded that intra-Meloidogyne genetic variability exist in RKN populations which have better encumbrance with P. penetrans.
