Fuel cells are most promising energy devices due to its relatively high fuel efficiency and almost zero emission products. Bipolar-plate in polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cells (PEMFCs) is one of the interesting research area because it is essential components to reduce weight of fuel cell stack. For fabricating a low cost and lightweight PEMFC, the conventional graphite-based bipolar plate must be replaced to metalbased materials. However, many metals show very weak stability in the fuel cell operating condition. In this study, the performances applying metal bipolar-plate with flow fields were compared and the factors affecting fuel cell performance were scrutinized.

There has been a lot of political controversies about the reform agenda in Chinese early reform years. This article focus on the controversy over the stages of the socialist development theory which is one of the most important but little known. This article investigate the two backgrounds of the controversy. One is the controversies over the stages of the socialism after the establishment of the PRC especially with the formulation of the general line for the transition to socialism in 1953. The other is the theory controversies around the early reform year over the reform agenda. This article investigate the processes of the controversy over the stages of the socialist development theory. The controversy was started by the article "On the Problem of the Social Development Stages after the Proletariat Revolution," which was co-written by Su Shaozi and Feng Ranrui. After the publication of the article Hu Qiaomu-the chinese theorist-Czar and Deng liqun-the conservative ideologue criticised that the article refused that the PRC was the socialist state. But the criticism was prevented by the CCP Central Committee Propaganda Department, because it concluded that Su Shaozi and Feng Ranrui did not assert that the PRC was not socialist country. But until the deepening of the reform in 1984 and the settlement of the theory of the primary stage of the socialism, Hu Qiaomu repeated his critics intermittently. Although there had repeated the anti-Liberalization Campaign, Hu Qiamu's critics on the stages of the socialist development theory did not diffused. That reflected the characteristics of the Chinese reform. On the aspect that the political changes did not correspond to the economic changes, the Chinese reform was the economic reform without the political reform. But it means what was the need for economic reform was accepted notwithstanding not corresponding to the political reform. The stages of the socialist development theory was needed for the economic reform although it had some contradiction to the socialist theory.
공기 유동에 따른 Ni-MH 배터리 모듈의 효과적인 냉각에 관한 연구

본 연구에서는 10개의 배터리로 구성된 모듈에 대한 열관리 전산모사를 수행하였다. 배터리의 구조를 단순화 하였고, 전기저항 등가식을 이용한 열전도 이론을 사용하였다. 2.6 mm의 좁은 배터리 사이의 간격에 대한 격자의 신뢰도 검증 실험을 진행하였고, 그 결과 배터리 사이에 최소 3개 이상 나누어진 격자의 형태가 필요하였다. 크게 모듈의 후면에서 공기가 유입되는 형태, 모듈의 상부에서 공기가 유입되는 형태 그리고 모듈의 하부에 공기가 유입되는 형태로 나누어 팬과 공기흡입구의 위치에 따른 모듈의 효과적인 냉각방법을 모색하였다. 배터리의 성능에 영향을 미치는 모듈의 최고온도와 배터리간의 온도 차이를 비교하였고, 공기의 유속을 비교하여 유체의 거동을 확인하였다. 모듈의 하부에서 공기가 유입되는 경우, $40.27^{\circ}C$로 가장 낮은 최고온도를 보였고, 모듈의 상부에서 공기가 유입되는 경우에 $0.73^{\circ}C$로 가장 적은 온도편차를 보였다. In this study, computational simulation was performed for thermal management of modules consisting of 10 batteries. Simplified structure and equivalent thermal resistance network was applied to maintain the thermal properties. Verification test of the mesh were in progress to ensure the reliability of 2.6 mm in the narrow gap between the battery, resulting in at least three divided mesh between the shape of the grid was required. Type of air from rear of the module, type of air from top of the module and type of air from bottom of the module were applied and effective cooling methods are discussed based on the location of fan and air intake of the modules. Maximum temperature and temperature differences of modules that directly affect the performance of the module were compared, and also behavior of the fluid was confirmed by comparing the air flow. The best maximum temperature is shown type of air from bottom of the module to $40.27^{\circ}C$ and type of air from top of the module shows smallest temperature difference $0.73^{\circ}C$.
ETSI 표준을 위한 소프트웨어 모뎀 기반 멀티모드 단말기의 표준 개발

ETSI(European Telecommunication Standards Institute), TC(Technical Committee), RRS(Reconfigurable Radio Systems)에서는 소프트웨어 모뎀 기반 멀티모드 단말기의 연구 및 표준을 개발하고 있다. 소프트웨어모뎀 기반 멀티모드 단말기는 SDR(Software Defined Radio) 기술을 바탕으로 단말기 플랫폼에 독립적인 라디오 어플리케이션을 운용함으로써, 하나의 단말기에서 동시에 다양한 이동통신 표준을 이용할 수 있는 차세대 단말기이다. 본 논문에서는 TC RRS에서 정의한 라디오 어플리케이션 사이에서의 리소스 공유 방법과 라디오 어플리케이션의 배포 형태에 따른 멀티모드 단말기의 분류에 대해 소개한다. 또한, 여러 개의 라디오 어플리케이션을 동시에 운영할 수 있는 멀티모드 단말기의 아키텍처와 인터페이스에 대해 소개한다.
Automated Measurement of Stent Strut Coverage in Intravascular Optical Coherence Tomography

Optical coherence tomography (OCT) is a non-invasive, cross-sectional imaging modality thathas become a prominent imaging method in percutaneous intracoronary intervention. We presentan automated detection algorithm for stent strut coordinates and coverage in OCT images. Thealgorithm for stent strut detection is composed of a coordinate transformation from the polarto the Cartesian domains and application of second derivative operators in the radial and thecircumferential directions. Local region-based active contouring was employed to detect lumenboundaries. We applied the method to the OCT pullback images acquired from human patientsin vivo to quantitatively measure stent strut coverage. The validation studies against manualexpert assessments demonstrated high Pearson’s coefficients (R = 0.99) in terms of the stent strutcoordinates, with no significant bias. An averaged Hausdorff distance of < 120 μm was obtainedfor vessel border detection. Quantitative comparison in stent strut to vessel wall distance found abias of < 12.3 μm and a 95% confidence of < 110 μm.

After the reform, the planned economy was replaced with the market economy in China and a lot of various non-governmental organizations (NGOs) including the association(社團), the private non-enterprise units and the foundations were constructed. Therefore, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and government has formed the administration system for the NGOs through the institutionalization and legislation. In the early reform years, the NGOs' administration system maintained the pre-reform socialist ways. However, after 1988, there have been the gradual institutionalization and legislation of the NGOs' administration system together with the formation of the NGOs' unific registration management system under control of the State Council and the Ministry of Civil Affairs. It might be seen as the retreat of the party and the strengthening of the State Council and the Ministry of Civil Affairs. But it was just the reassignment of the responsibility between the CCP and the State Council and not the change of the party being in charge of the society. The State Council and the Ministry of Civil Affairs are in charge of the administrative management of the NGO, but the principle and policy for the NGO administration is been determined by the CCP and the leadership of the CCP has unchanged. The CCP recognize the inevitableness of the NGO's growth and realize it as the bridge between the party and the mass. But at the same time the CCP suspect them as the soil of the anti-China and anti-communist party which may conspire with the hostile force of the external (west) to threaten the legitimacy of the CCP. So, the CCP and the Chinese government take strict control and restriction on the NGOs by ways of formatting the administrative control system on the one hand, and constructing party branches in the NGOs on the other hand. But according to the 2009 official statistics, the CCP branches have been constructed just a half in the local NGOs. More severe, the party and state have no means to manage the presumably more than 3million grass root NGOs. This shows the adaptation and limit of the party-state to the changing Chinese society.
