Review of Cold Rydberg Atoms and Their Applications

We present an introductory review of the latest advancements cold Rydberg atom research. First, we briefly summarize the exaggerated properties of Rydberg atoms, and we discuss the new perspectives of Rydberg atom research that has been enabled by laser cooling and trapping technique. We then highlight the latest developments and achievements in the newly emerged research fields for Rydberg molecules and cold neutral plasmas. Various applications of the Rydberg blockade effect for quantum optics and quantum information science are also reviewed.

Aspergillus을 이용하여 생리적 제 성질을 조사하였던 바 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 1)각 균주들은 각각 그들의 특성을 가지고 있었으며 이로서 균동정의 가능성을 나타내었다. 2)Amylase측정결과에서 보면 비교적 역가가 높은 균주들이 관찰되었으며, 이는 일주간의 배양시간의 경과에 따라 역가가 증가하였으나 protease의 역가는 우수한 균주를 발견키가 어려웠다. Iodine의 착색대와 비착색대의 비율에 의한 역가의 정성적인 측정이 가능하였다. Thirtythree strains of the Aspergillus spp. isolated from foodstuffs were observed through some physiological characteristics for detection of identification key of Aspergillus spp. 1) Each strain of Aspergillus spp. had their specific characteristics and could be used for identification of species. 2) Excellent amylase-producing fungi were observed among the isolated strains of Aspergillus spp. 3) Amylase activities increased for one week incubation period. 4) In the tests of common characters of aflatoxin-producing fungi among the 33 strains of Aspergillus spp., for example, conidial size, presence of sclerotia, kojic acid, and pigment production, coloration of phenol, reduction of methylene blue, etc.

위⋅수탁계약에서의 갈등요인과 해소방안에 관한 탐색적 연구

The entrustment of business management approach is one of the universal management methods for trucking transport business. Direct management is not being adopted in the market due to the possibility of change in freight volume and the nature of the trucking transport business market, which has a large supply of trucking vehicles compared to freight volume. The above-mentioned entrusted management method has a lot of conflicts between the trucking business operators, and the entrusted owner operators. In particular, the problem of money payment in entrustment contract is a typical case of conflict, and discussion and research on it are rare to find. Therefore, in this study, we analyze the problem of payment of money in entrustment contract, such as the premiums and administrative expense and then suggest the improvement plan which can reduce contractual conflicts between two party, based upon the related laws, precedent research and case. First, in the case of premiums, we propose a transition to a deposit system, a formal premiums payment system, and a way of receiving the limited premiums money of the trucking transport business. Second, in the case of administrative expenses, we propose the transition from the cash payment system to the payment of the card, the percentage management expenses system, and the application of the management fee increase rate for a long - term contract. This discussion is expected to be of significance in the sense that it is the first starting point on the premise that trucking business operators and entrusted owner operators based upon win-win of two party. Key 화물자동차운송사업에 있어 위⋅수탁경방식은 보편적인 경방식의 하나이다. 직경방식은 물동량의 변화가능성과 물동 량 대비 화물자동차의 공급이 많은 화물운송시장의 특성상 시장에서 채택되지 못하고 있는 실정이다. 위⋅수탁경방식은 계약상 의 문제로 계약당사자인 화물자동차운송사업자와 위⋅수탁차주 간 많은 갈등관계를 가져왔다. 특히 금전지급 문제는 대표적인 갈 등사례이나 이에 대한 논의와 연구는 찾아보기 어려운 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 위⋅수탁계약관계로 인한 권리금 및 관리 비라는 금전지급 문제에 대해 관련법령과 선행연구, 그리고 사례를 토대로 분석한 후 화물운송사업자와 위⋅수탁차주의 계약상 갈등관계를 완화시킬 수 있는 개선방안을 제시하고자 하다. 첫째, 권리금의 경우 보증금 제도로의 전환, 공식적 권리금 제도 마 련, 그리고 화물자동차운송사업자의 제한적 권리금 수수 방안을 제시하으며, 둘째, 관리비의 경우 현금납부 제도에서 카드납부 제로의 전환, 퍼센티지 관리비 제도 마련, 그리고 장기계약 시 일정기간 단위로 관리비 인상률을 적용할 수 있는 방안을 제시하 다. 이러한 논의는 화물자동차운송사업자와 위⋅수탁차주의 상생을 전제로 한 첫 출발점이라는 측면에서 연구의 의의가 있을 것 으로 기대한다.

수종 모노테르펜계 화합물이 랫드 뇌의 monoamine oxidase 활성에 미치는 영향

Eight natural or semisynthesized monoterpenes were examined for their effects on rat brain monoamine oxidase(MAO) using benzylamine as substrate. Thujone and 3-carene were found to have the inhibition effects on rat brain MAO activity; 38% and 95% inhibition at 10^(-3) M respectively. The kinetic study on 3-carene, the most potent inhibitor tested in this study, showed that its MAO inhibition effect was confirmed as uncompetetive type. But (+) pulegon and (-) isopulegon was found to activate MAO slightly.

말뚝에 작용하는 부주변마찰력의 양상과 감소방법을 일련의 모형실험을 통하여 평가하였다. 감소 방법으로는 역청재와 확대선단부를 사용하였다. 실험은 점성토로 이루어진 모형지반에서 지름이 3.2cm인 모형강관말뚝을 사용하여 수행하였으며 부주변마찰력으로 인한 하향력을 압력계로 측정하였다. 특히 여러가지 경우에 대한 확대선단부의 감소효과는 인발실험을 통하여 알아보았다. 보통말뚝인 경우에 부주변마찰력은 깊이에 따라 0.25(유효상재압)로 나타나며 말뚝과 주변 흙과의 상대변위가 아주 작아도 부주변마찰력은 충분히 발휘된다. 말뚝에 역청재를 도포하여 부주변마찰력을 50%이상 감소시킬 수 있다. 확대선단부의 사용도 ㅂ주 변마찰력의 감소에 효과적이었으며, 말뚝의 지름에 대한 착러설단부의 지름인 커지거나 주변의 강도가 커질수록 그 효과는 커진다. 역청재와 확대선단부를 종시에 사용하던 약 90%의 감소효과가 있다. Model pile tests are performed, first, to estimate donwndrag exerted on pile surfaces due to the settlement of surrounding soils, and, second, to evaluate the efficiency of the downdrag reduction methods such as the bitumen coating method and the method of the attachment of an enlarged base. Test results show that the downdrag forces may be expressed as 0.25(;effective overburden). Bitumen coating reduces the downdrag by more than 50 percent, and the enlarged base attachment method is also effective, whose effectiveness increases as the sixte of the base increases as expected. When the bitumen coating and enlarged base are both applied, the downdrag force is reduced as much as 90 percent. Finally, it is found that the quantity of the relative displacement between the pile and the surrounding soil downdrag is extremely small.
