Using polyimide Langmuir-Blodgett(LB) films as a tunneling harrier, we fabricated Au/Polyimide/1-layer arachidic acid/Pb structure in order to investigate electron transport properties through a junction. It was found that 9-layer polyimide LB films function as a good tunneling harrier in a study of current-voltage(I-V) chararteristics. And several peaks originating in the vibrational modes of the constituent molecules of 1-layer arachidic acid LB films were clearly observed in d$^2$V/dI$^2$- V corves.

This study was investigated the status and performance characteristics of the small-scaled wastewater treatment plants as well as the problems of failure to get optimum efficiency in order to propose method for efficiency improvement. The performance characteristics of the small plants was studied by using the existing data and the improvement strategy was studied for the existing 42 small plants on the A city. The average effluent concentration of the most plants of A city, which were completely improved by advanced treatment process among all of the 42 plants, was BOD 7.3 mg/l, COD 10.3 mg/l, SS 6.4 mg/l, TN 15 mg/l, TP 1.6 mg/l, 1,303 coliforms/ml, respectively. However, it may be need the additional advanced treatment process to improve the phosphorus efficiency to satisfy the standard effluent concentration which is to be enhanced later. The multiple installation of diverse processes with different theory of process or operation method in the same region may be pointed out as the main cause to exceed standard effluent concentration. It may be desirable to install facilities by unifying process or theory in the same region, if possible. If operation management system is currently in the regular patrol management method, this study propose to introduce automatic control system with enhanced remote monitoring function based on IT to the combined operation system enforced in the existing small plants.
TKN/COD비가 높은 소규모지역 오수의 생물학적 영양소 제거

Biological nutrient removal(BNR) system have known to be sensitive to the wastewater characteristics varied with sewer system used, types of detergent used, temperature and others. Generally, BNR system have applied to TKN/COD ratios of less than 0.13. However, most small community wastewaters represent the TKN/COD ratios of more than 0.20. This study was conducted to analyze basic performance characterisitics of BNR system for high ratios of TKN/COD wastewaters of small community. BNR system was applied to laboratory reactor with a templerature of 10 to 12℃. A total of 13.6L volume capacity including anaerobic(1.6L), anoxic(4L) and aerobic(8L) zeones. As that results of this study, organic material removal efficiency was more than 95%, nitrification and denitrification efficiency were 95%, 88%, respectively. But phosphours removal efficiency was low since nitrate(NO₃-N) concentration of return sludge was more than 8.0 mg/L.
NAP Process를 이용한 하수의 질소,인 처리특성

It has been known wastewater with low COD/TKN ratio produces higher effluent No₃-N and adversely affects poly P microbes returning it to an anaerobic stage in BNR systems. Nighsoil applicability to return activated sludge line(NAP,nightsoil added process) to minimize No₃-N effect to poly P microbes in anaerobic stage was examined with laboratory BNR systems operated at 20℃. The study results indicated nightsoil application could improve nitrogen and phosphorus removal efficiencies with low strength settled municipal wastewater persenting low COD/TKN ratios of 6.0. Even organic loading rates increased to 20 to 60 % due to nightsoil application, the effluent COD increased only 10 to 20% . This would suggest nightsoil can be used as another carbon source and nightsoil application to return activated sludge line can be another alternative modification to improve BNR systems.

The purpose of this study was to observe the change of hormonal concentration after long exercise. The subjectes selected for the experiment were composed of healthy 8 long distance runners. Every subjects performed submaximcl treadmill exercise. The variables of analysis were HR(heart rate), Vo2 norepinephrin epinephrine, glucagon and insuline. The results analyzed on there data were summarized as follow; 1.Blood catecholamines and glulagon concentration were increased after submaximal exercise for one hour, but insulin concentration was decreased significantly (p < 0.005) 2.The significant increase of glucagon and decrease of insulin concentration played a major' role on the activation of F, F, A and new birth of glucogen.
1995년 세계 체조 선수권 대회 남자 자유 경기 내용 분석 : 철봉 종목을 중심으로

This study was an analysis of 8 gymnasts, participating in Men's horizontal bar competition( Ⅲ competition), content of performances. Their performances of the exercises were closely examined by help of video display. This study showed their performances in three respect : construction of the exercise, degree of difficulty, and bonus points. The results were as follows. 1.Construction of the Exercise Each competitor performed his exercise with combinational skills thats have actual value rather than simple skill. 2.Degree of Difficulty Each competitor got better points, doing more D-, E parts than B-, C parts. 3.Bonus Points Performing the combinational exercises composed of various D parts, or more than D parts, rather than simple exercise, each competitor awarded bonus points. To sum up the results above, the performance of the exercise which is composed of various D-, E parts, that is, various combinations, had more point values than the simple performance made up of simple D parts.

The returning ratio of water use is the ratio of water supply to wastewater flow. The data of returning ratio have been used its of the 1970∼80's until now. This study was conducted to analyze of water supply and wastewater flow the city of Chungju and Chechon. This survey was that divided into the returning ratio of water use for residential and industrial. Particularly, in considering of residential water using sectors were detached house, apartment house and the other communities, respectively. This study result of the water supply rate per capita per day were 200 lpcd(liter/cap./d) The returning ratio of water use the detached house, an apartment house and the other communities were 70%, 60∼80% and 70%, respectively. Approximately, the returning ratio of water use for industrial was around 100%.
