      • SBR 공정에서 ORP를 이용한 질소제거 특성

        The automatic control system in wastewater treatment plant has been study widely on account of the retrofitting on operation and management technology. This study was proposed that the pattern of ORP, DO and pH can be used to indicate effective operation and management technology for the nitrogen removal in SBR process. The SBR system for this study is the effective volume of 10ℓ and the working volume of 3ℓ was applied to laboratory reactor. The effluent TKN and NH4-N concentration was 4.4 mg/l and 0 mg/l, respectively. As result of ORP monitoring, the ORP value was 80 to 100 mV when is the nitrate knee state for denitrification. Also, the ORP value was 200 to 250 mV at the nitrogen break point for nitrification.

      • 소규모 하수처리장의 고도처리 개선 방안

        This study was investigated the status and performance characteristics of the small-scaled wastewater treatment plants as well as the problems of failure to get optimum efficiency in order to propose method for efficiency improvement. The performance characteristics of the small plants was studied by using the existing data and the improvement strategy was studied for the existing 42 small plants on the A city. The average effluent concentration of the most plants of A city, which were completely improved by advanced treatment process among all of the 42 plants, was BOD 7.3 mg/l, COD 10.3 mg/l, SS 6.4 mg/l, TN 15 mg/l, TP 1.6 mg/l, 1,303 coliforms/ml, respectively. However, it may be need the additional advanced treatment process to improve the phosphorus efficiency to satisfy the standard effluent concentration which is to be enhanced later. The multiple installation of diverse processes with different theory of process or operation method in the same region may be pointed out as the main cause to exceed standard effluent concentration. It may be desirable to install facilities by unifying process or theory in the same region, if possible. If operation management system is currently in the regular patrol management method, this study propose to introduce automatic control system with enhanced remote monitoring function based on IT to the combined operation system enforced in the existing small plants.

        Stabilization of LiBH4 superionic phase by halide doping and H disordering

        We performed first-principles density-functional theory calculations to investigate the structural properties and the effect of halide ion doping to the superionic-conducting, high-temperature phase and the effect of halide doping on the phase of LiBH4. It is computationally demonstrated that the superionic phase is stabilized owing to the halide doping with the large ions which fill the interlayer space of the superionic phase. The H-disordered phase is observed in the structure and is found to contribute to the stabilization of the superionic phase.

      • Glycidyl Ether Macromonomer의 리빙 음이온 중합 Living

        본 연구에서는 poly(ethylene glycol)methyl ether(PEGME)와 epichlorohydrin(ECH)의 williamson 반응을 이용하여 40°C, 1.5시간의 반응 조건으로 다양한 분자량의 poly(ethylene glycol)glycidyl ether(PEGGE)를 합성하였다. 합성된 macromonomer의 음이온 중합은 개시제로 diphenylmethyl potassium(DPM-K), 용매로 THF를 사용하여 50°C에서 3일간 고진공 유리장치에서 진행되었다. 블록공중합체를 위하여 macromonomer를 중합한 후 propylene oxide(PO)를 두 번째 단량체로 첨가하여 10일간 중합하였다. 합성된 고분자는 GPC, 1H-NMR, FT-IR 분석을 통해 분자량, 성분비, 작용기를 확인하였으며, 그 결과 블록공중합체가 성공적으로 합성되었음을 확인하였다. 또한 DSC를 통해 고분자 전해질의 열적변화가 Li이온의 농도에 따라 결정되는 것을 확인하였다. AC impedance 측정법을 이용하여 [EO]:[Li]의 비율, 온도에 따른 이온전도도를 관찰하였다.

      • Cyclic Aeration System을 이용한 소규모 지역의 오수처리 특성

        Most of the existing wastewater treatment technology have developed primarily for the high population density such as urban area. Accordingly, performance characteristics of wastewater treatment systems, economy and optimum operation & maintenance(O/M) are suitable for municipal wastewater treatment plants. The other side, small communities in rural areas have not been developed facilities of wastewater treatment and sewer systems. In the developed countries increasingly have led to considerable attention being directed towards small wastewater treatment solutions especially in rural areas since '80s. This study was conducted to analysis characteristics of small community wastewater treatment using cyclic aeration system The result of cyclic aeration system for small community wastewater treatment were organic material removal efficiency were 95 ∼ 98 %, nitrification and denitrification efficiency were 92 %, 67 %, respectively. But phosphorus removal efficiency was low because of nitrate(NO3-N) inhibition. Also, the result of simulation using SSSP program measured data were similar to simulation result in case of organic materials, but nitrogen data were differentiate of predicted results.

      • 합류식 하수관거내 월류수(CSOs)의 발생특성에 관한 연구

        In this study, the discharge flux and pollutant quality of CSOs(Combined Sewer Overflows) were analyzed at the existing sewer system in the Chungju. Together, the flux and quality of CSOs that be generated at early rainfall were analyzed. The general characteristic of first-flush was analyzed using this data. The result of this study, the flow rate of CSOs at the rainfall period was more 3 times than dry season in the overflow rate of combined sewer system. The CSOs' water quality of pollutant was analyzed very higher than sewage concentration at dry season from most analyzing parameter, and general bacteria and E. coli. group displayed very high value specially. According to result that compare CSOs' pollution loading (based on BOD) with dry season, the pollution load was produced more than about seven times at the intensity of rainfall that is less of 1.5 mm/hs. On the other hand, by the examining of the relation of CSOs flux and intensity of rainfall, there was no fixed relation but was showed that CSOs flux is increased as intensity of rainfall is increased generally.

        CuPc/Au 계면에서의 온도 변화에 따른 표면전위 특성

        Organic field-effect transistors (OFETs) are of interest for use in widely area electronic applications. We fabricated a copper phthalocyanine (CuPc) based field-effect transistor with different metal electrode. So we need the effect of the substituent group attached to the phthalocyanine on the surface potential was investigated by Kelvin probe method with varying temperature of the substrate. We were obtained the positive shift of the surface potential for CuPc thin film. We observed the electron displacement at the interface between Au electrode and CuPc layer and we were confirmed by the surface potential measurement.
