        청소년기 성별에 따른 일상스포츠활동 경험과 집단괴롭힘 행동의 관계

        본 연구에서는 남, 여 청소년의 일상스포츠활동 경험과 집단괴롭힘 행동의 관계를 살펴보았다. 연구대상은 중학교 남학생 41명과 여학생 59명이다. 경험표집법(Experience Sampling Method)을 사용하여 하루 6회씩 연속 4일간 총 24회를 깨어있는 시간 중 무작위로 표집된 시각에 스포츠활동을 하고 있는 빈도와 그 순간 경험하는 플로우, 긍정적 정서, 부정적 정서를 측정하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 남학생은 일상활동의 8.3%, 여학생은 6.4%를 스포츠활동을 하는데 시간을 보내고 있었다. 스포츠활동을 포함한 7개 범주의 일상활동 중에 경험하는 심리상태의 차이의 유형은 남, 여가 달랐으나 남, 여학생 모두 다른 일상활동들에 비해서 스포츠활동 중에 집중이 더 잘 되고 정서적으로 더 긍정적이며 덜 지루한 심리상태를 경험했다. 둘째, 5가지 유형의 집단괴롭힘 행동 중 여학생보다 남학생의 가해동조 행동 수준이 더 높았으며 가해, 피해, 무관심, 피해방어 행동 수준은 성차가 없었다. 셋째, 남, 여학생 모두 스포츠활동 빈도와 집단괴롭힘 행동은 유의한 관계가 없었으나 남학생은 스포츠활동 중의 플로우 상태, 편안함, 화, 우울감의 정서 상태가 가해동조 행동과 여학생은 스포츠활동 중의 즐거움의 정서 상태가 피해 경험 수준과 관련이 있었다. 본 연구결과를 청소년기 스포츠활동과 집단괴롭힘 행동의 관계에 대한 선행연구 결과들 간의 불일치를 해석하는 관점에서 논의하였다. This study investigated the relationship of adolescent boys’and girls’daily sports activity experiences with bullying. Middle school students(41 boys and 59 girls) participated in the study. The Experience Sampling Method(ESM) was used to measure frequencies of daily sports activities, flow, and affect states affective states during daily sports activities. Findings are as follows: 1)The 8.3% of daily life activities for boys and 6.4% for girls were spent for on doing daily sports activities. Although there are sex differences in the variation of psychological states across daily life activities, both boys and girls experienced higher flow, higher positive affect, and lower negative affect when engaging in daily sports activities compared to the other daily activities. 2)Boys’perpetration support behaviors were higher than those of girls ; however, there were no sex differences in the other types of bullying. 3)There were no significant relationships between the frequencies of daily sports activities and bullying; however, the psychological states in daily sports activities were significantly related with bullying . For boys, emotional states of flow, comfort, anger, and depression were significantly linked to perpetration support behaviors during sports activities, while for girls, emotional states of pleasure during sports activities showed a significant link to the experience of victimization. The findings were discussed to explain inconsistencies in the previous research findings.

        웨이트 트레이닝 전 자가근막이완 기법이 기능적 움직임과 지연성 근육통에 미치는 효과

        PURPOSE: This study aimed to examine the effect of the self-myofascial release technique conducted before weight training on functional movement and delayed onset muscle soreness (DOMS). METHODS: The study subjects were divided into three groups: a control group (CON, n=8), an active stretching group (DS, n=8), and a self-myofascial release group (SMR, n=8). All three groups performed the same leg press exercise program for 30 minutes, twice a week for eight weeks. Active stretching and self-myofascial release techniques were conducted before exercise for 30 minutes. Body composition, 1RM, and functional movement screen (FMS) were tested before the 1st-week exercise and after the 4th- and 8th-week exercise training. The DOMS levels were assessed immediately after exercise and at 24, 48, and 72 hours post-exercise using the visual analog scale (VAS). RESULTS: Body weight and body fat percentage showed a significant decrease (p<0.01), and muscle mass and 1RM increased with the exercise period (p<0.01). The FMS score differed between the groups (p<0.05), periods (p<0.01), and groups×periods (p<0.01). The FMS score was significantly higher in the SMR than in the CON group at the 4th- and 8th-week exercise. The exercise-induced VAS level peaked at 48 hours post-exercise in all groups and significantly decreased at 72 hours post-exercise in the SMR group. CONCLUSIONS: These results indicate that self-myofascial release positively affects functional movements and effectively alleviates exercise-induced pain levels. Therefore, self-myofascial release techniques could be used as an effective warm-up strategy to improve physical function and relieve exercise-induced injury and muscle pain.

        스포츠교육학 : 서울시 도시형 대안학교의 체육수업 현황과 학생들의 교육

        This study investigated recent situation of the physical education class offered at city-type alternative schools and the adolescents’ needs regarding this class. Ninety five adolescents responded to the questionnaires asking their needs on the contents and the ways of the physical education classes offered at their alternative schools. And, 19 teachers responded to the interviews and the questionnaires asking the recent situation of the physical education classes at their alternative schools. Data were analyzed using frequency analysis, repeated measurement analysis of variance, and Chi test. Findings are as follows. First, 66% of the alternative schools in Seoul offered the physical education class. These schools were teaching one sport item including inline skating, soccer, or basketball in the class, once a week for one and a half ~ two hours. The teachers working at the alternative schools which did not offer the physical education class reported that they needed space, teachers, and curriculums for the physical education class. The adolescents reported that physical education classes were helpful for feeling enjoyment and maintaining good health and relationships with friends. However, they also reported that poor curriculums, the bothersomeness in preparing for the class, and the absence of space and facilities were main problems that made them feel boring during the class. Findings on the adolescents’ need regarding the contents and the ways the physical education class is operated suggest that the city-type alternative school physical education classes can be activated by supports from athletic facilities and universities in communities.

        청소년기 스트레스와 폭력행동의 관계에 대한 대처전략의 조절효과

        This study investigated moderating effects of coping strategies on the relationship of stress with violent behaviors among middle school students. Two hundred seventy-four students were selected from juniors of two middle schools in Seoul. The moderating effects of coping strategies differed by sex. The stress aggravating effect of emotion-discharge coping strategies and the stress buffering effect of affective regulation coping strategies on violent behaviors appeared for girls, whereas the direct effects of emotion-discharge coping strategies appeared for boys. Findings were discussed in developing coping education programs for intervention of adolescent violent behaviors. 본 연구에서는 중학생을 대상으로 스트레스와 폭력행동 수준의 관계에 있어서 대처전략의 조절효과가 있는지 살펴보았다. 서울 소재 2개 중학교에서 편의표집된 2학년 남학생 135명, 여학생 139명을 대상으로 스트레스, 폭 력행동, 대처전략을 측정하였으며 조절효과 여부를 분석하기 위해서는 남, 여별로 스트레스, 대처전략, 스트레스 와 대처전략의 상호작용 변인을 독립변인, 폭력행동을 종속변인으로 하여 위계적 회귀분석(hierarchical multiple regression)을 실행하였다. 분석결과 정서분출 대처전략의 직접효과가 남학생에게서, 정서분출 대처전략과 정서 조절 대처전략의 간접효과가 여학생에게서 발견되었다. 구체적으로 정서조절 대처전략의 스트레스 완화효과 (buffering effect)와 정서분출 대처전략의 스트레스 악화효과(aggravating effect)가 발견되었다. 상담현장에서 연구결과의 활용시 고려점과 제한점, 그리고 추후연구 과제에 대해 논의하였다.
