스크램제트 엔진 개발을 위한 극초음속 유동 모의 시험을 수행하였다. 극초음속 유동장을 모사하기 위해서는 마하수, 레이놀즈수, 전온도 등을 모의할 수 있어야한다. 공기가열히터와 불어내기식 풍동 시설에서도 극초음속 유동의 마하수, 레이놀즈수, 전온도를 만족시킬 수 있으나 설비 구축과 운용에 많은 비용이 필요하여 대학수준에서는 현실적으로 운용이 불가능하다. 이러한 이유로 극초음속 환경 모사를 보다 적은 경비로 쉽고 빠르게 모사할 수 있는 시설인 충격파관이나 충격파관에 노즐을 부착시킨 구조의 충격파 터널이 범용적으로 널리 사용되고 있는 실정이다. KAIST 충격파 터널을 이용하여 스크램제트 엔진 연소 시험을 수행하였다. 그 과정에서 발생한 유동의 질식 현상, 격막 파편에 의한 유동장 교란, 다중분사 시스템, 노즐에 의한 불필요 충격파, 짧은 정상유동 시간 다섯 가지 문제점과 그 해결책을 정리하였다. This experiment was performed to simulate hypersonic flow condition that high speed flying scramjet encountered. To simulate the hypersonic flow field, it is necessary to be able to simulate Mach number, Reynolds number and total temperature. Vitiated air heater and blowing type wind tunnel facilities can satisfy these condition, however theses facilities are not practical in the university level because of large cost for construction and operation. For this reason, shock tube and shock tunnel, nozzle attached to shock tube, which is a facility that can simulate hypersonic condition with less expense, can be widely used. The purpose of this study is to investigate the difficulties and solution to the scramjet experiment using shock tunnel.

With it being inevitable to change the method of supervising as it is reorganized to EEZ coming out of the old concept of contamination in Korean area of the sea, it costs a lot to have good enough systems of total control for sea contamination and prevention of contamination as well as the effective marine superintendence because the governing bodies such as Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries, National Maritime Police Agency, and Authorities of Guiding Ships for Fishery, have their own source of laws and different ways to execute. In order to change such a wrong method of marine superintendence, it is necessary to conduct the merger and abolition of similar authorities with similar functions into authorities which are light but can be expected to play a major role, and to open the high-costing low-efficient organizations to make them remodel to be reborn as economical bodies. In addition to that, the maritime authorities, which are falling to incapable organizations not being able to work out any complicated tasks, have to be reborn as preventing bodies which take care of security and public peace and cut off a pollution source from sea and land.

Material properties depending on temperature such as density, heat conductivity, heat expansion coefficient, specific heat, yield stress, clastic modulus, and specific resistance considered. Using the results of temperature distribution obtained from heat conduction analysis, the thermal clastic-plastic analysis is carried out to clarify mechanical behavior of spot welded specimen.<br/> In order to evaluate the effective nugget size and stress concentration factor in spot weldment, experiment of infrad-thermography and finite clement analysis(FEA) are carried out under sinusoidal stress. New concept of effective nugget is proposed for the FEA. To verify the proposed concept, the comparison with the result of DCPDM is performed.<br/>

In order to develop a mower attached to the front of speed sprayer, a mowing part was developed separately for power operation. A prototype mower is composed of height adjusting wheels, straight blades(600 mm), gasoline engine(16HP) and the attachment to a speed sprayer. The FE modeling of frame panel is implemented. The maximum Von-Mises stress is 39.33 Mpa at hydraulic system and minimum Von-Mises stress is 0.02 Mpa at the center of frame panel. A safety factor of 6.3 would be adequate for a drive component in a mower.
