Two Sponges of Family Tethyidae (Demospongiae: Hadromerida) from Korea

A new marine sponge in the family Tethyidae,Tethya uljinensis n. sp. was collected from Uljin, Korea in2007. Halicometes koreana in the family Tethyidae wasredescribed. Tethya uljiensis n. sp. is closely to .in skeletal structure and spicule composition. But, it differs inthe size of spicules (stronyloxea) and shape of oxyaster.

Beliefs about Cancer, Recurrence Concerns, and Health Behavior Changes in Breast Cancer Survivors

With the growing number of cancer survivors, ensuring the overall health of these individuals merits special attention; however, to date it has received limited empirical attention in Korea. The current study aimed to examine the prevalence of health behavior changes after cancer and its association with causal beliefs about cancer and recurrence concerns in 129 survivors of breast cancer in Korea. Participants were recruited from a breast cancer survivor’s group in the Breast Cancer Clinic at one university hospital in Seoul, Korea. Participants completed questionnaires assessing health behaviors, concerns about recurrence, and causal beliefs regarding cancer. The behavior showing the greatest change was 'reflecting on life priorities’ and ‘spending quality time with family’. Stress was rated as the most important cancer cause. A few socio-demographic, clinical characteristics, and beliefs about the causes of cancer showed significant association with health behavior changes. Recurrence concerns were negatively related to increases in exercise. Current findings provide a preliminary understanding of the factors that prompt the initiation of healthy lifestyle changes among breast cancer survivors.

A New Species of Genus Cinachyrella (Spirophorida: Tetillidae) from Korea

A new marine sponge Cinachyrella unjinensis n. sp. has been collected from Jejudo Island in 2009. This new species is similar to C. kuekenthali (Uliczka, 1929) in the shape and composition of the spicules except for style. However, it differs from the latter by size of anatriaenes, protriaenes and microxeas.

A New Species of the Genus Tetilla (Spirophorida: Tetillidae) from Korea

A new species in the genus Tetilla, Tetilla hwasunensis n. sp. was collected from Hwasun Harbor, Jejudo Island in 2009. This species differs from T. serica its lack of spherules and from T. radiate by having sigmaspires. Description and figures of the new species are provided.

This study aimed to confirm the mediating effects of interpersonal problems(dominance(DO), submission(SU), hostility(HO), friendliness(FR)) on the relationship of adult attachment(attachment anxiety, attachment avoidance) to relationship satisfaction. Questionnaires including adult attachment, interpersonal problems, and relationship satisfaction were administered to male and female adults, and the data of 260 were analyzed. Regression analysis yielded the effect of adult attachment on relational satisfaction. Path analysis was utilized to explore direct effects of adult attachment on relationship satisfaction and indirect effects of adult attachment on relationship satisfaction mediated by interpersonal problems. Additionally, Sobel’s test was conducted to confirm individual mediating effects. The main results of this study are as follows: First, the higher attachment anxiety and attachment avoidance was, the lower relationship satisfaction was. Second, the higher attachment anxiety was, the more interpersonal problems of DO, SU, HO, and FR were reported increased, whereas the higher attachment avoidance was, the more interpersonal problems of DO, SU, and HO were reported. Third, DO had no significant relationship with relationship satisfaction, but the more SU and HO were, the higher relationship satisfaction was. The more FR was, the higher relationship satisfaction was. Finally, SU and HO among interpersonal problems negatively mediated the relationship of adult attachment(attachment anxiety, attachment avoidance) and relationship satisfaction. FR positively mediated the relationship of attachment anxiety and relationship satisfaction. The implications and limitations were discussed based on these findings. 본 연구는 성인애착(애착불안, 애착회피)과 관계만족의 관계에서 대인관계문제(지배, 복종, 적대, 친밀)의 매개효과를 확인해 보고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 남녀 성인을 대상으로 성인애착, 대인관계문제 및 관계만족에 대한 설문을 실시하였고, 수집된 자료 중 260명의 자료를 분석에 사용하였다. 회귀분석을 통해 성인애착과 관계만족의 관계를 확인하였으며, 경로분석을 활용하여 성인애착이 관계만족에 미치는 직접효과와 성인애착이 대인관계문제를 매개하여 관계만족에 영향을 미치는 간접효과를 검증하였다. 더불어 Sobel’s test를 통해 지배, 복종, 적대 및 친밀의 개별매개효과를 검증하였다. 본 연구의 주요결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 애착불안과 애착회피가 높을수록 관계만족이 낮았다. 둘째, 애착불안이 높을수록 지배, 복종, 적대, 친밀 문제가 많았고, 애착회피가 높을수록 지배, 복종, 적대 문제가 많았다. 셋째, 지배 문제와 관계만족은 유의한 관련이 없었고, 복종과 적대의 문제는 많을수록 관계만족이 낮았으며, 친밀 문제는 많을수록 관계만족이 높았다. 마지막으로, 대인관계문제 중 복종 문제와 적대 문제는 성인애착(애착불안, 애착회피)과 관계만족의 관계를 부적으로 매개하였고, 친밀문제는 애착불안과 관계만족의 관계를 정적으로 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 시사점과 제한점을 논의하였다.

Two Marine Sponges of the Family Ancorinidae (Demospongiae: Astrophorida) from Korea

Two sponges, Stelletta subtilis (Sollas, 1886) and Stryphnus sollasi n. sp., were collected from depth of 24-30m at Jeju-do Island and Chuja-do Island by SCUBA diving from July 2003 to June 2010. The new species Stryphnus sollasi n. sp is similar with Stryphnus niger Sollas, 1886 in the composition of spicules, however they differ in colour and spicule size. This new species has smaller oxeas and larger oxyasters than those of S. niger. This new species has two size categories of oxyaster but S. niger has one size category of oxyaster. The colour of S. sollasi n. sp is white, but the latter puce black. Stelletta subtilis (Sollas, 1886) is first recorded in Korean fauna.

일본 소학교 국어교과서에 실린 [호랑이와 피리불기(とらとふぇふき)]에 관한 고찰

?科書はその時代を反映する鏡である.特にその中でも小?校の?語?科書が持っている重要性は子どもの?達過程においても、また文???においてもとても大切である。感受性が敏感な小?校時代に習った文?作品は一生忘れられないものである。その中でも、昔話はその民族の魂と?民精神をよく出しているもので,その?を代表できる文?として?げられる。 1945年以後??の小?校?語?科書に?載されている昔話を調べる中、韓?の昔話が?載されていることに 注目し、その意義および??過程に伴う比較を試みることにした。日本の2000年度版の場合、4社にかけて?4篇の韓?の昔話が?載されているが、本稿では始めての韓?の昔話?材として紹介された[とらとふえふき]を中心に比較してみた。[とらとふえふき]は韓?の‘巫女虎'?話を元にしたもので、韓?の代表的な虎の話で、初登場した作品である。踊る虎という似合わない組合わせで、子どもたちの興味や持たせるにはとても有?な作品であるが、韓?を代表できる虎の話ではない。また、元の?話より具?的な描?と?話?を用いて?細に書いた??作品とも言える。また、虎が生存してない日本にも虎の話があることについてはこれからの?究課題とする。
