        전문대학의 특성을 고려한 교수업적평가 모델 연구

        Faculty performance evaluation system has been settled down as an uncomfortable but unavoidable system, and it is one of the most important factors to grow the college competitiveness up. In this study, we selected and surveyed faculty evaluation models of several universities and colleges in Korea, and analyzed by comparing each evaluation areas of educational achievement, college-industry collaboration, research, and service. We also identified the properties of the current faculty evaluation models of the junior colleges, and derived several problems from these models such as an imitation of four-year university model, a disorders of job evaluation with respect to the attributes of classified jobs, a large variation of individual item weights, and an insufficient reflection of major characteristics. Based on these surveys and analysis, an improved faculty evaluation model for the junior college is proposed in this study. This model proposed four basic areas-educational achievement, college-industry collaboration, research, and service by considering the importance of the college-industry collaboration in the junior college-as well as the team evaluation area. Weights of the SCI-class paper was selected as a criterion for the arrangement of objective comparison of each evaluation items. We showed the integration method of several different evaluation model with respect to the attributes of classified jobs of each faculties, and evaluation plan of variational characteristics according to the majors of individuals in this model. Finally, we introduced an area fail and rating system to operate efficiently the proposed faculty evaluation model.

        Wave height measurement scheme using wave detector based on convolutional neural network and PPM calculator with ocean wave images

        The measurement of wave height is essential for weather analysis, safe navigation of ships, and ship design. This study proposes a low-cost and direct method for measuring wave height using ocean wave images. The proposed scheme comprises a Wave Detector based on Convolutional Neural Networks that takes two-dimensional ocean images as input, and a PPM Calculator that measures the size of an object in the image. The study explains the configuration and implementation of the Wave Detector and the basic principle of the PPM surface generating method for the PPM Calculator, with support from ground experiments. The proposed scheme is validated using two types of wave height measurement sensors and three types of real ocean images for theWave Detector, as well as two rounds of ground experiments for the PPM Calculator. The results show that the wave height values measured by the proposed scheme are highly consistent with the values from the measurement sensors.

        아두이노를 활용한 GUI 기반의 초보자용 피지컬 컴퓨팅 시스템의 구현

        The importance of physical computing education is increasing for the creative students with computational thinking mind. Arduino is one of the most useful tools for physical computing education, but it has a disadvantage that C language education, which is difficult for beginners to learn, has to be preceded. In this study, we implement an Arduino-based GUI system that can easily teach physical computing even for beginners. Users can easily control the Arduino system by drag & drop method by a simple GUI with a touch screen, software made with Python and PyQT, and the system automatically generates C language codes for Arduino control. The system makes users who learned C language compare Arduino coding with the automatically generated C codes, and we validated its effectiveness by the test. 컴퓨팅 사고력(Computational Thinking)을 가진 창의적 인재의 양성을 위해 피지컬 컴퓨팅 교육의 중요성이 커지고 있다. 아두이노는 피지컬 컴퓨팅 교육을 위해 가장 많이 사용되는 도구 중의 하나이나, 초보자가 배우기 어려운 C 언어의 교육이 선행되어야 하는 단점이 존재한다. 본 연구에서는 초보자에게도 피지컬 컴퓨팅을 쉽게 교육할 수 있는 아두이노 기반의 시스템을 구현한다. 사용자는 터치스크린, 파이썬과 PyQT로 제작된 소프트웨어를 이용하여 구현된 간단한 GUI를 통한 Drag & Drop 방식으로 아두이노를 손쉽게 제어하고, 시스템은 자동으로 C 언어로 구성된 아두이노 제어를 위한 코드를 생성한다. 추후 C 언어를 배운 사용자가 자동으로 생성된 C 언어를 활용하여, 아두이노 코딩도 비교해 볼 수 있도록 시스템을 구성하고, 실제 테스트를 통하여 그 효용성을 검증하였다.

        고감속비를 가지는 베어링일체형 구조의 2단 전위 감속기의 개발

        Planetary gearing is a gear system consisting of one or more planet gears, revolving about a sun gear. While the planetary gear system has many advantages- for example, high power density, large reduction in a small volume, multiple kinematic combinations, pure torsional reactions, and coaxial shafting, it has not been widely used because of its high bearing loads, inaccessibility, and design complexity. It is also necessary to shift several pairs of gear profiles at a same time. Therefore, designing profile shifted planetary gear system is a difficult and know-how dependent job. This study provides a practical solution to design a profile shifted gear system by the procedural design scheme, and proposes a bearing integrated structure of the dual stage profile shifted gear system with a robust output end. A dual stage profile shifted gear system with the bearing integrated structure is manufactured by the proposed design scheme in this study. This gear system is verified that it is good enough to commercialize, because it has high performance with high gear ratio and robust output end against axial and radial directional runouts in a small space.

        인공지능 기반의 울음소리를 이용한 영아 상태 인식

        Babies in infancy communicate most by crying. Since it is a critical period in the brain development stage, a lot of effort is needed to understand the desire of the baby correctly. In this study, we introduce the analysis of research on babys crying and patterns, and how to classify them using artificial intelligence. The sound source consists of the baby’s crying sample from the existing research, and the pattern is stored and classified. It is transformed into spectrogram image data, visualized, analyzed and preprocessed, and used as learning data for CNN model. This study presents how to implement a system that classify baby’s crying with comparatively higher accuracy than existing research that uses patterns from the average of frequency measurements. If much more input data is verified by experts in the near future, it can be commercialized easily and immediately.

        지능형 항해정보기록 분석 시스템 설계 및 가시화 모듈 개발

        The voyage data is very important for safety of ships, and duty being effectuated by the installation of voyage data record (VDR) on ships. VDR is a black-box, and it contains 14 kinds of voyage data as text. But it is not easy to understand when the accident happened because voyage data is saved as complicated texts. User interface (UI), analysis, visualization system, which works for assist to gather information about situation of accident, was developed. It will be possible to develop onboard ship monitoring and voyageprediction system by the VDR visualization system's development in near future.

        홈 네트워킹을 위한 ZigBee 모듈의 구현에 관한 연구

        최근 많은 주목을 받고 있는 홈 네트워킹은 네트워크를 사용하여 댁내 기기를 원격으로 감시하고 제어할 수 있는 기술이다. 무선 홈 네트워킹 방식은 유선 방식과 비교하여 배선에 따른 비용과 노력이 들지 않아서 기존 주택에 용이하게 적용할 수 있는 장점을 가지고 있다. 특히, ZigBee 프로토콜을 사용한 홈 네트워킹은 저렴한 비용과 낮은 전력 등의 장점으로 매우 매력적인 무선 네트워킹 기술 중의 하나로 알려져 있다. 하지만, ZigBee 모듈을 구현하고 홈 네트워크를 구성하는데 있어서는 많은 실제적인 문제점이 존재하고 이들에 대한 적절한 해결책이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 ZigBee 프로토콜을 구현하는 하드웨어와 소프트웨어 모듈의 실제적인 구조를 제안한다. 또한, ZigBee 네트워킹의 구현에 따른 문제점들을 소개하고, 다양한 통신 테스트를 통하여 이들 문제점을 해결하는 효과적인 해결책을 기술한다. Home networking has been noticed as a key technology for the home automation because it is possible to remotely monitor and control the in-house appliances and devices through the network. Wireless home networking method is easily applied to the conventional houses compared to the wired home networking method because of low cost and small effort due to no extra wired works. Especially, home networking using the ZigBee protocol is one of the most attractive technologies in the wireless networking area because of its low cost and low power consumption characteristics. However, there are a lot of practical problems to be solved in implementing the ZigBee module and constructing the wireless network. In this paper, one of the practical structures of the hardware and software modules for implementing the ZigBee protocol is proposed. Moreover, problems in constructing the home networking with the proposed ZigBee module are introduced, and the effective solutions to solve these problems are described through various tests.

        강의평가 시스템의 신뢰도 향상 방안 연구

        This paper deals with the ways that can improve the reliability of the course evaluation system based on reformation of thesystem and design of user interface for the practical applications. In the reformation of the system aspect, there are the improvementsof the course evaluation questionnaires and the feedback of course evaluation to the lecturers. In the design aspect, a computerscreen of the graphic user interface is redesigned to reflect the reformation of the system aspect issues. The results show theeffectiveness in the reliability improvement.
