잠재적인 생균제제 Bacillus subtilis CSY191에 의해 제조된 국산 검정콩(서리태 및 서목태) 청국장 발효 중 ${\beta}$-glycosidase 활성, total phenolic와 isoflavone 함량 및 항산화 활성을 조사하였다. 청국장 발효 후 total phenolic 및 isoflavone-malonylgycoside와 -aglycone 함량은 증가하였고 이에 따라 ABTS 라디칼 소거활성 및 FRAP 활성은 증가하였으나 isoflavone-glycoside 함량은 감소하였다. 특히, $7^{\circ}C$에서 48시간 발효된 서리태 청국장은 서목태 원료 및 청국장보다 높은 활성을 나타내었다. 서리태 48시간 발효 후, daidzein, glycitein 및 genistein의 함량은 각각 253.0 ${\mu}g/g$ 72.5 ${\mu}g/g$ 및 114.1 ${\mu}g/g$을 나타내었다. 이 결과로부터, 검정콩 청국장의 높은 항산화 활성은 total phenolic 및 isoflavonemalonylgycoside와 -aglycone 함량 증가에 의한 것으로 추측할 수 있다. Changes in ${\beta}$-glycosidase activity, total phenolic and isoflavone contents, and antioxidant activities during the fermentation of Korean black soybeans (Seoritae and Seomoktae) fermented food cheonggukjang by the potential probiotic Bacillus subtilis CSY191 were investigated. The levels of total phenolic and isoflavone-malonylglycoside and -aglycone contents increased, while 2,2-azinobis (3-ethyl-benzothiazoline-6-sulfonic acid) diammonium salt (ABTS) radical scavenging activity and ferric reducing/antioxidant power (FRAP) increased, but the isoflavone-glycoside contents decreased after cheonggukjang fermentation. The content of antioxidant compounds, including isoflavone-aglycones and -malonylglycosides, was increased by fermenting-processing, whereas the content of isoflavone-glycosides was decreased in the fermented soybeans. In particular, the Seoritae soybean fermented at 3 $7^{\circ}C$ for 48 h displayed the highest antioxidant activities, compared to those of the Seomoktae soybean and the fermented. The highest levels of daidzein, glycitein, and genistein were present at concentrations of 253.0 ${\mu}g/g$, 72.5 ${\mu}g/g$, and 114.1 ${\mu}g/g$ after 48 h of Seoritae soybean fermentation. From those results, we suggest that the high antioxidant activity of cheonggukjang of black soybeans might be related to the markedly higher levels of total phenolic and isoflavone-aglycone and -malonylglycoside contents achieved during fermentation.

잠재적인 생균제제 L. plantarum P1201의 두유 발효 중 이화학적 특성, 총 phenolics과 isoflavone 함량 및 항산화 활성 변화를 연구하였다. 균주 P1201는 pH 2.5의 산 및 인공위액산 환경에서 4 h 후 각각 58.14%와 62.22%의 생존율을 나타내었다. 두유 요구르트의 최적 발효 조건은 배양온도 35℃, 종균 접종량 5.0% 및 10%의 sucrose이었다. 한편 총 phenolic와 isoflavone 함량 및 항산화 활성은 SM 요구르트보다 SPM 요구르트가 우수하였다. 특히 SPM 발효 48 h 후, daidzein, glycitein 및 genistein의 함량은 각각 91.50, 12.34 및 61.39 ㎍/g이 검출되었다. 이러한 결과로 본 연구의 두유 요구르트 추출물은 잠재적인 천연 항산화제로 식품에서 사용할 수 있을 것으로 판단되었다. In this study, we evaluated changes in physicochemical properties, total phenol and isoflavone contents, and antioxidant activity during soymilk fermentation by a potential probiotic Lactobacillus plantarum P1201. The P1201 strain showed survival rates of 58.14% and 62.22% after 4 h exposure to acid and artificial gastric acid conditions (pH 2.5), respectively. The optimal conditions for soy-yogurt fermentation by L. plantarum were determined to be as follows: temperature of 35℃, seed volume of 5.0%, and sucrose content of 10.0%. The total phenol and isoflavone contents and antioxidant activity were higher in soy-powder milk (SPM) yogurt than soymilk yogurt. In particular, the highest levels of isoflavone-aglycones, such as daidzein, glycitein, and genistein (91.50, 12.34, and 61.39 ㎍/g, respectively), were observed after 48 h of SPM fermentation. Thus, these results suggest that the soy-yogurt extract could be used as a potential source of natural antioxidants in food.
인천 화재사건 청소년 생존자를 대상으로 한 PTSD 하위유형간 증상, 기능 및 기질성격 특성 비교연구

Objectives : The aim of this study was to investigate Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)-related symptom severity, level of functional impairment and personality profiles between full-blown PTSD, partial PTSD and non-PTSD groups among 59 adolescent survivals from the Incheon fire disaster. Method : Using Short Screening Scale for DSM-IV PTSD, victims of the disaster were assigned to a full-blown PTSD group (n=18), a partial PTSD (n=22), or a non-PTSD group (n=19). Assessments included the Beck Depression Inventory (BDI), the State-Trait Anxiety Inventory (STAI), the Impact of Event Scales (IES), the McBride's Degree of General Labor Loss, and the Korean Version of Temperament and Character Inventory (K-TCI). Results : Significantly severe PTSD symptoms (F=4.832, df=2, p<.05) and functional impairment (F=12.144, df=2, p<.01) were demonstrated by PTSD groups as compared to the non-PTSD group. Interestingly, full and partial PTSD did not differ in these comparisons. Similarly, the subtypes of PTSD did not differ with respect to personality profiles using the K-TCI ; however, personality profiles were sharply differentiated between the PTSD and non-PTSD group. Conclusion : Although high subject homogeneity and small sample size may limit the results of this study, the present results highlight the possibility of the underestimation as well as the insufficient, treatment and compensation of partial vs full PTSD.
동아시아 지역에서의 다자간 원자력 협력 방안: 새로운 원자력 협력체제 결성을 위한 첫 번째 제안

Demand on the nuclear energy in East Asian countries has been grown rapidly to support economic development. After 9.11, nuclear security has become the world wide issue. In addition, unlike to other region, some countries are considering the introduction of nuclear power plants. To meet the challenges a new regional multilateral nuclear approach is proposed aiming at assurance of supply and non -proliferation. The new proposal is based on the principles of confidence building, volunteering, and incentives. The step wise approach is recommended to implement the multilateral system in East Asia.

Human skin undergoes changes during aging that result in culminate in wrinkle formation on the around eye, forehead and mouth. Our previous study demonstrated that Hibiscus syriacus extracts has inhibitory effects against ultraviolet B radiation-induced skin aging in normal human dermal fibroblasts. This study was to evaluate the preventive effects of Hibiscus syriacus extracts on crow’s feet wrinkling by applying Hibiscus syriacus cream in 23 randomized human subjects. Based on photo scale, Hibiscus syriacus cream significantly reduced the wrinkle grade compared with the placebo. Furthermore, skin roughness (R1), maximum roughness (R2), average roughness (R3), and smoothness depth (R4) were reduced in topical applied Hibiscus syriacus cream. However, arithmetic roughness average (R5) has no changed. There are no case reports on any adverse reactions by using Hibiscus syriacus cream. In conclusion, Hibiscus syriacus drastically improved eye wrinkle formation by diminishing various roughness scores. In conclusion, our results suggest that Hibiscus syriacus could be used as an ingredient in natural functional food and cosmetic products.

본 연구에서는 유기 태양전지용 작은 밴드 갭 물질(p-형 반도체)의 개발 과정에서, 2,5-dioctyloxyphenylene(OP), 3- hexylthiophene(HT) 및 2,3-dimethylthieno[3,4-b]pyrazine(TP)을 반복단위로 갖는 올리고머(oligo(OP-HT-TP))를 합성하였다. Oligo(OP-HT-TP)는 측정 온도 범위에서 무정형 상태로 존재하였으며, 범용 유기용매에 잘 용해되었다. 필름상태에서 최대 흡수 파장은 716 nm이었으며, 밴드 갭은 대략 1.20 eV로 측정되었다. Oligo(OP-HT-TP)의 HOMO와 LUMO의 에너지 준위는 각각 -5.27 eV와 -4.04 eV로 측정되었다. 그러나, 이 올리고머의 최대 흡수 파장에서 흡광도는 유기태양전지의 제작에 있어서 현재까지 가장 많이 사용되고 있는 poly(3-hexylthiophene) 흡광도의 1/5보다도 더 작은 것으로 측정되었다. During the development of low band-gap organic materials(p-type semiconducting organic compounds) for organic solar cells, an oligomer consisting of2,5-dioctyloxyphenylene(OP), 3-hexylthiophene(HT), and 2,3-dimethylthieno[3,4-b]pyrazine{TP) as repeat units, oligo(OP-HT-TP), was synthesized. The oligomer was amorphous in nature in the temperature range studied, and well soluble in common organic solvents such as chloroform. The maximum absorption wavelength was 716 run in solid state. The band-gap and HOMOILUMO energy levels of oligo(OP-HT- TP) were measured to be 1.20 eV and -5.27/4.04 eV, respectively. However, the absorbance of the oligomer at maximum absorption wavelength was less than one fifth of that ofpoly(3-hexylthiophene) which has been most frequently used in fabrication of organic solar cells.
친환경농산물 가공식품 소비 활성화를 위한 구매속성 분석

The activation of consumption of environment-friendly agricultural processed foods means not only the growth of environment-friendly agriculture, but also the development of related industries. Therefore, it is necessary to identify and apply the needs and purchasing attributes of environment-friendly agricultural processed food consumers. For this, survey was conducted to adult men and women in their 20s and 60s and a total of 200 copies were used for empirical analysis. In this study, the average difference between importance-satisfaction for purchase attributes of environment-friendly agricultural processed food was verified, and the IPA Matrix was prepared based on this. As a result, in terms of purchasing importance and satisfaction, it was found that those with no experience in purchasing environment-friendly agricultural processed foods regarded product, price, place, promotion as more important than those with experience in purchasing. In case of IPA, product and price factors were all important and satisfactory regardless of purchasing experience. On the other hand, it was found that the key factors for promotion were neither important nor satisfied with consumers regardless of their purchasing experience. Therefore, it is mainly necessary to focus on marketing and mass media promotion. At the same time, various domestic and foreign best practices should be benchmarked and a 4P marketing strategy should be established and promoted.
방사성폐기물 동굴처분 안전성 평가를 위한 지하수 유동 평가

방사성폐기물 안전성 평가를 위해 가상 부지를 선정하고 경계 조건을 도입하였다 연안에 처분장이 위치할 경우를 가상하여 처분장 심도 및 단층까지의 거리 등에 대한 지하수 유통 민감도를 분석하였다. 또한 처분장 진입 터널이 지하수 유통에 미치는 영향을 평가하였다. 이를 통해 각 암반별 지하수 이동 거리 및 시간을 CONNECTFLOW를 이용해 산정하고, 그 결과들이 확률론적 방사선적 안전성 종합 평가 코드인 MASCOT의 입력 자료로 활용되도록 하였다. For total system performance of a potential radwaste repository, a hypothetical site is assumed with feasible boundary conditions. Assuming a coastal repository, the sensitivity of the depth and the location of a repository along with the distance to a joint on groundwater transport pathways is studied. Results from Connectflow analysis could be used as input of the MASCOT-K, the probabilistic safety assessment code.
