구형 마이크로스트립 안테나의 개선된 복사 어드미턴스 계산방법

본 논문에서는 균일한 유전체로 채워져 있고 윗면에 슬릿이 있는 평행평판 도파로의 ${\pi}-$ 등가회로로 부터 구형 마이크로스트립 안테나의 복사 컨덕턴스와 서셉턴스를 동시에 구하는 새로운 방법을 제시하였다. 계산된 결과를 기존의 이론치와 비교하였다. 또한 등가전송선로를 이용하여 반사손실(return loss) 및 공진주파수를 계산하여 실험치와 비교한 결과 양호한 특성을 얻었다. In this paper, a new method which simultaneously gives the radiation conductance and susceptance of the rectangular microstrip patch antenna. This solution is derived from the load admittance of the equivalent ${\pi}-$network circuit of the slitted parallel-plate waveguide filled with homogeneous dielectric. Our theoretical results for the radiation admittance are compared with other theoretical results. Also, our theoretical return loss and resonant frequency which are calculated by use of the equivalent transmission line model are in fairly good agreement with the experimental results.

In this paper, the aperture-counpled microstrip antenna(ACMA), the aperture is used as a mechanism for coupling the radiating element to the microstrip feedline, is sudied for the bandwidth improvement. The aperture-coupled configuration provies the advantage of isolating sperious feed radiation by use of common group plane. The effects of varying several physical antenna's parameters, such as widths and lengths of aperture and legths of feedline are investigated whth a goal of designing wideband microstrip antenna. The bandwith behavior of the disigned optimum antenna is compared with that of conventional microstip antenna., Numerical results developed whth the emsemble 5.1.

In recent effforts to improve radiation characteristics and wider bandwidth of the antenna, extensive researches are being reported on directly coupled rectangular microstrip patch antenna by microstrip line and gap coupled rectangular microstrip antenna. The increasing use of the microstrip array antenna technology requries H-plane analysis methods capable of calculating the return loss, radiation pattern, the resonant frequency, and the equivalent circuit of the antenna, etc. In this paper, H-plane microstrip array antenna directly coupled to nonradiating edges is presented and analyzed for broadening bandwidth. The radiation admittance derived from the slitted parallel-plate wave-guide filled with a homogeneous dielectric and the conventional transmission line model are used in representing the equivalent circuit of the array antenna. The dimensions of the array antenna configuration with a broader bandwidth are determined from computer simulation by changing several parameters : patch length, feed point. For the array antenna which contains the optimum values of these parameters, the return loss and bandwidth are theoretically computed.

4개의 패치가 마이크로스트립 선로로 직접 결합된 구형 마이크로스트립 어레이 안테나의 복사패턴을 이론적으로 해석하였다. 등가 전송선로 모델 및 복사 어드미턴스를 이용하여 안테나의 등가회로를 구한후, 역상 전압을 보상하여 안테나의 복사패턴을 구하였다. 그리고 이론적인 결과를 입증하기 위하여 K.L.Wu등이 제시한 실험 및 이론적인 결과와 비교 검토하였다.

In this paper, the electromagnetically coupled mecrostrip dipole antenna by adapting one parasitic metal-strip(dipole) between the microstrip transmission line open end and the radiating microstrip dipole antenna is presented for the bandwidth improvement. The geometry is analyzed using Ensemble 5.1 simulation package. The effects of varying several physical parameters, such as the lengths of radiating dipole and parasitic dipole, and the width of parasitic dipole are investigated. The bandwidth behavior of the optimum antenna is compared with that of 2-layer antenna without the parasitic dipole. The radiation pattern and gain of the optimum antenna are calculated.

The analysis of microstrip slot antenna fed by a strip transmission line can be obtained by applying transmission line theory with a discontinuity by the slot. To minimize reactance components of the slot, a p oper stripline length is selceted by measuring transmission coefficient. Periodically slotted dielectricalloy filled parallel-plate waveguide as a leaky wave antenna is designed and fabricated at the center frequency of 10.0GHz. The antenna was fed by use of a hog-horn structure. The hog-horn and the two side walls and the lower plate of parallel-plate waveguide were fabricated form duralumin. The upper plate of parallel-plate waveguide with 48 periodic slots was made of copper plate of 1mm thickness. The dielectric material inside the parallel-plate waveguide was chosen to be paraffin. The experimental radiation pattern for the fbricated antenna was compared with the theoretical results for the finite periodic structure.

In this paper, a quasi-log-periodic microstrip patch array antenna which consists of one center-fed patch and gapcoupled several parasitic elements is presented. The equivalent circuit is obtained using the conventional transmission-line model, the REC(radiating-edges-coupling) model for the gap between microstrip patches, and the radiation conductance for the open end of the patch. In order to improving the radiation characteristics, a 9 element microstrip patch array is designed and tested. The calculated value of the E-plane radiation pattern of the antenna is compared with the measured result.
