Hannah Arendt states that Being and Appearing are concurrent in this world. Among the phenomena included are earth and nature, living things, the world, and thought-things. The human condition (earth, life itself, worldliness, and plurality) and the vita activa (labor, work, and action) remain our concerns in this changing world. The Arendtian theory of the human condition has contemporary relevance to understanding our lives. The earth is the very quintessence of the human condition. It seems that the Arendtian proposition of “earth-boundness” remains the ideal starting point to explain the crisis on earth, which stems from the negative consequences triggered by “the alienation of earth.” In the era of the space race, serious concerns about human earth-boundness are called Amor Terra. Just as earth and nature are both conditions of human life, we have to be interested in how to maintain mere life (zoē) and more life (bios) through activities of labor in the modern age of the consumer economy or, rather, “waste economy.” The objective world of things created by work (making) is the material base in which human beings can begin action. However, worldliness as a human condition has been constantly impaired or threatened by the intensification of the attitude toward world alienation. The newly emerging emergencies comprise nuclear crisis, environmental crisis, climate crisis, and so on. These things are closely connected with the weakening of the duration and permanence of the world of things and the loss of the publicity of public things. These problems have a high possibility of causing a crisis in political life, that is, humane life. While all aspects of the human condition are somehow related to politics, plurality is the most important element in the expression of humanity. However, the various kinds of political lies, the distorted communication structure, and the excessive jurisdiction of politics are likely to lead to the weakening of political action and politics. The coexistence of the politics of deliberation and agonism contributes to activating the intersubjective web of human relationships, that is, the common world. In sum, the Arendtian theory of the human condition constitutes a story that reveals care for earth and nature, the permanence of the material base for stable worldly living, and the importance of political life in the common world. The theory of the human condition, in other words, the philosophy of natality, provides us with important insights into understanding our lives.
마이크로터빈발전시스템 계통연계운전을 위한 동적 모델링 및 시뮬레이션

Distributed Generation (DG) is predicted to playa important role in electric power system in the near future. insertion of DG system into existing distribution network has great impact on real-time system operation and planning. It is widely accepted that micro turbine generation (MTG) systems are currently attracting lot of attention to meet customers need in the distributed power generation market In order to investigate the performance of MT generation systems, their efficient modeling is required. This paper presents the modeling and simulation of a MT generation system suitable for grid-connected operation. The system comprises of a permanent magnet synchronous generator driven by a MT. A brief description of the overall system is given, and mathematical models for the MT and permanent magnet synchronous generator are presented. Also, the use of power electronics in conditioning the power output of the generating system is demonstrated. Simulation studies with MATLAB/Simulink have been carried out in grid-connected operation mode of a DG system. The control strategies for grid connected operation mode of DG system is also presented.

Geosynthetic-reinforced and pile-supported (GRPS) systems have been used for several application fields in foreign countries. A series of researches have been performed to evaluate the effects of GRPS system in the internal field which is supposed damage due to lateral soil movement in soft ground. This paper describes a design case of GRPS system which is used as countermeasure against lateral movement of piled bridge abutment on soft ground. 유도전동기 베어링고장진단을 위한 고정자전류프로세싱 기술개발

이 논문은 다른 종류의 유도전동기 구름베어링 손상을 유도전동기 고정자 전류신호해석을 통하여 검출하고 실시간으로 손상을 진단하는 알고리즘을 개발하였다. 유동전동기 구름베어링의 손상을 검출하기 위하여 정상적인 베어링을 갖는 유도전동기, 축정열에 불량을 가지고 있는 전동기와 베어링 외륜에 구멍을 가지고 있는 2가지 종류의 비정상 베어링을 갖는 유동전동기 3set을 실험시스템으로 구축하였다. 또한 유도전동기의 구름베어링시스템의 비정상적인 상태에서 고정자전류를 검출하기 위하여 TMS320F2407 DSP 칩을 이용하여 데이터의 획득보드를 개발하였다. 이 고정자전류신호를 해석을 통하여 베어링 손상을 검출하기 위한 방법으로 FFT, 웨이브렛 분석 및 내적에 의한 평균신호패턴에 의한 분석결과를 제시하였다. 특히 내적에 의한 신호분석을 통하여 베어링 손상 여부를 실시간으로 진단할 수 있는 새로운 알고리즘과 분석방법을 제시하였다.
