The possibility that the etiology of toxemia might be immunologic has been held in the past decade. The present study was undertaken to observe a difference in the number of T and B cell lymphocyte populations between pre-eclamptic and normally pregnant women, if any. Twenty normally pregnant women in the third trimester were compaired to twenty pre-eclamptic women. The results are summarized as follows; 1) Normal pregnant women ahd 69+-8% T cells, toxemic patients 72+-6% T cells, and normal non-pregnant controls 68+-4% T cells whereas the proportion of B cells were 11.0+-4%, 11.6+-4, and 11.3+-3% for the same respective groups. 2) Normal pregnant women ahd 1,290+-203 T-lymphocytes/mm^3, toxemic patients 1,411+-326 and normal nonpregnant controls 1,312+-112/mm^3 whereas the total number of B-lymphocytes were 206+-31, 227+-33 and 218+-29/mm^3 for the same respective groups. 3) Significant quantitative alterations in circulating T and B lymphocytes were not observed in the third trimester of normal pregnancy and pre-eclamptic pregnancy.

Forbes and Albright described the amenorrhea-gaactorrhea syndrome associated with pituitary tumor in 1954. However, only since 1971, with the development of the sens- itⅳe and specific radioimmunoassay for the prolactin by Hwang et al, it has been demo- nstrated that high percentages of these tumors are associated with the hyperprolactin- emia. Authors experienced four cases of the pituitary adenoma associated with hyperprola- ctinemia, secondary amenorrhea and galactorrhea and presented them with a brief reⅵew of literatures.

Myasthenia Gravis is an autoimmune neuromuscular disorder, characterized by the presence of anti-acetylcholin receptor antibodies. The prevalence of MG has been estimated to be 2 to 10 cases per 100,000 population with a marked predilection for young women. We experienced a case of M.G. in pregnancy in 34-year old Woman, received neostigmine therapy and was delivered with Iow forceps. We present this csse with a brief review of the literatures.
