서울지역 지명전설의 사례와 콘텐츠 활용 방안

최근 스토리텔링에 대한 관심과 연구, 개발이 문화산업 전반에 걸쳐 이루어지고 있는 가운데, 지역의 전설, 역사, 문화유산 등을 바탕으로 한 스토리텔링을 개발해 마케팅의 수단으로 적극 활용하고 있는 사례가 많아지고 있다. 본 논문은 이러한 가능성을 서울지역 지명의 전설, 설화, 이야기 콘텐츠를 통하여 발견해보고자 한다. 먼저, 서울지역과 관련된 전설의 역사와 유형을 알아보고 이를 토대로 서울지역 내 전설이 지닌 콘텐츠로서의 잠재성을 극대화하기 위한 다음과 같은 콘텐츠 활용 방안을 제안한다. 첫째, 스토리뱅크의 구축이고, 둘째, 전설 체험코스 및 주변 콘텐츠와의 연계 프로그램 개발이다. 셋째, 전설, 이야기를 활용한 마을 축제의 개발이고, 넷째, 각 지역의 전설과 관련된 상품 개발이며, 다섯째, 지명전설을 배경으로 한 다양한 문화예술 콘텐츠 개발이다. Recently, research, development and interest in story-telling has been studied in the cultural industry across the board. In addition, the local legend, history, and the cultural heritage has been increasingly used for the marketing method. This research paper is to find the possibility from the legend, folk story and story-based contents of place names in Seoul. Wed like to find the legendary history and the type related to SEOUL, and to suggest the following application plan to maximize the potential of the contents ; Building a storybank, developing the contents-connected program, developing festivals using the legend and the folk story, developing the legend-connected product, and developing various cultural artistic contents with the place name legends.

불교음악 콘텐츠 개발 방안 연구

For religion, Music is the most powerful method to spread out Buddhist doctrines. Since 1920`s, Buddhist community has released Buddhist hymn. Accordingly, various form of musical forms, suchas the music for a religious gathering, Buddhist song and Buddhist song for children has appeared to the demands of the times. However, an attempt of the musical form for a religious culture creation has failed achieve an outstanding result. Through this paper, I`d like to study on the modernization progress and the state of Buddhist music, and to clearly state the problems. Based on this study, I`d also like to discuss the development plan of the Buddhist Music Contents. The Buddhist` religious tradition must to be taken a serious view of protection and preservation, but the self-helping efforts is essential element to adapt to the rapidly-changing era.

실용음악고등학교의 새로운 교육프로그램 연구

본 연구는 실용음악을 전공하고 있는 고등학생들을 대상으로 대학 입시교육이 아닌 한명의 뮤지션으로써 자신들이 하고 싶은 음악을 펼쳐 나갈 수 있도록 다양한 교육콘텐츠를 통해 결과물을 만들어 내기 위한 고민을 하였다. 특별히 서울실용음악고등학교의 보컬 전공 학생들을 대상으로 ‘커버곡 영상제작’을 통해 단순히 커버곡 영상을 만드는 것이 아닌, 자신만의 새로운 스타일을 재창조하며 본인의 스타일을 보여줄 수 있는 편곡작업을 통해 모든 것을 능동적으로 할 수 있게 하며, 자발적인 참여 유도와 이 영상들이 만들어지고 나서 학생들과 학교에 대내외적으로 끼치는 영향들과 실제로 가수로 데뷔한 학생들의 사례까지 이야기하고, 이 내용으로 커버곡 영상제작에 대한 만족도 설문 조사를 진행하였다. 이 결과를 보면 보컬 전공 학생들의 높은 만족도를 볼 수 있었고, 이 콘텐츠들을 서울실용음악고등학교의 새로운 교육프로그램으로 개발 할 수 있는 계기가 되었다. 본 연구의 결과를 통해서 학생들에게는 긍정적인 기대효과가 있었음을 알 수 있었다. This study was aimed at high school students majoring in contemporary music, and as a musician rather than a college prep student, they were trying to produce various contents through various educational contents so that they could enjoy their music. Especially, it was not just to create a cover song through cover song video production for vocal major students of Seoul Music High School, but it was also possible to recreate their own new style and arrange all the details to show their style actively. This was connected to inducing voluntary participation and influences of students and schools both internally and externally after the creation of these video clips and the cases of students who actually debuted as a singer. This result shows high satisfaction of students of vocal major, and it became an opportunity to develop these contents as a new educational program of Seoul Music High School. With these contents, the survey was conducted and the results of this study showed that students had positive expectations

스웨덴 대중음악의 글로벌 경쟁력 형성요인에 관한 연구

본 연구에서는 오늘날 주목받는 고부가가치 산업이자 국가 브랜드를 형성하는 소프트파워를 지니고 있는 대중음악산업을 스웨덴의 사례를 통해 다각도로 바라보았다. 세계 무대에서 큰 명성을 가지고 있는 스웨덴 대중음악의 경쟁력을 형성한 원인이 무엇인지 알아보았다. 스웨덴 대중음악의 국제적 경쟁력 형성의 원인을 체계적으로 알아보기 위해 포터의 다이아몬드 모델이라는 전략적 분석 모델을 활용했다. 결과적으로 스웨덴의 대중음악은 다이아몬드 모델의 결정 요소인 4가지 조건에서 모두 큰 성장을 이루어왔음을 발견했다. 첫째, 생산조건으로 음악교육과 음악프로듀서들의 노력으로 인적 자원인 아티스트들의 질적 향상을 이루어내어 불리한 인구조건을 극복하였고 둘째, 수요조건으로 스웨덴의 지리적 특성과 영어의 보편적인 사용으로 인해 글로벌 시각의 형성과 함께 미국과 영국의 수요층을 겨냥할 수 있는 조건을 마련했다. 셋째, 관련 산업 및 지원분야로 스웨덴의 발달된 디지털환경과 적극적인 테크놀로지의 수용이 음악 산업의 성장에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤으며 음악 저작권 보호 시스템과 함께 최적의 환경을 만들었다. 넷째, 경영전략 및 경쟁 상황에서는 스웨덴 특유의 음악적 특질과 체계적인 후크송 제작방식이 있었으며 다수의 음악 프로듀서들의 경쟁과 협업, 다국적 음반사와 연계된 글로벌 네트워크로 스톡홀름 뮤직클러스터를 형성해 경쟁력을 확보했음을 알 수 있었다. 또한 이러한 스웨덴 대중음악산업의 경쟁력을 형성한 핵심요인들은 한국 대중음악산업에 여러 시사점을 남기고 있음을 알 수 있다. This study analyzed the factors of success of the popular music industry, which is a high value-added industry and has soft power that forms a national brand, from various perspectives through the case of the Swedish pop music industry. This study aimed to determine what makes Swedish pop music, which has a worldwide reputation, so competitive. To identify the causes of the international competitiveness of Swedish pop music systematically, it used a strategic analytical model called Porter’s Diamond Model. The findings revealed that Swedish pop music has grown significantly in all the four aspects listed as determinants of success in the diamond model. First, under “Factor Conditions,” music education and the efforts of Swedish music producers helped overcome unfavorable population conditions by improving the quality of human resources. Second, under “Demand Conditions,” Swedish artists targeted demand groups in the U.S. and U.K. with a global perspective and proficiency in English. Third, under “Related and Supporting Sectors,” Sweden’s advanced digital environment and active acceptance of technology positively affected the growth of the music industry and created an optimal environment with music copyright protection systems. Fourth, in the “Context of Firm Strategy & Rivalry,” the unique and simple characteristics and systematic hook production methods of Swedish music worked well with the Stockholm Music Cluster, and formed a global network linked to multinational big record companies. It was also observed that the key factors that formed the competitiveness of the Sweden pop music industry might have many implications for the Korean pop music industry.

해방 시기 작곡가 이건우 예술가곡작품의 음악적 특징 : 가곡집 금잔디 와 산길 을 중심으로

1988년 금지되었던 월북 작곡가들의 곡이 해금되면서 작곡가 김순남, 안기영 등은 많은 관심을 받았지만, 반면에 이건우는 비교적 큰 관심을 받지 못하였다. 또한, 지금까지 월북 작곡가들에 관한 연구가 많이 이루어졌음에도 불구하고 이건우에 관한 연구는 비교적 미비하다. 이건우는 해방공간에서 민족음악 정립을 위해 노력한 작곡가 중빼놓을 수 없는 작곡가임이 분명하다. 본 연구에서는 이건우가 해방 시기에 작곡한 예술가곡 중 작곡기법과 민요 적 색채가 특징적으로 잘 드러나는 가곡집 금잔디 와 산길 을 연구 대상으로 선정하여 가곡집에 수록되어있는 총 11곡의 음악적 특징에 대해 알아보았다. 먼저 이건우의 음악적 생애를 개괄적으로 알아보고 서양 예술가곡의 배경과 한국 예술가곡의 배경, 그리고 예술가곡의 음악적 특징에 대해 알아보았다. 다음으로는 그의 가곡집 금잔디 와 산길 에 수록된 곡의 음악적 특징을 크게 세 가지로 나누어 분석하였는데, 첫 번째로 자연을 소재로 하여 님에 대한 그리움이나 지나간 시간에 대한 아쉬움을 표현한 것을 알 수 있었고, 가곡에서는 흔히 나타나지 않는 경향적인 성격의 시를 소재로 사용한 것을 알 수 있었다. 두 번째, 시의 내용이 길거나 서사적일 경우 빈번한 박자의 변화와 템포 변화가 있는 것을 알 수 있었고, 마지막으로 민요적 색채가 두드러지게 나타나는 곡이 있음을 발견하였다. In 1998, the ban on the songs of composers who defected to North Korea was lifted. Kim Soon-nam and Ahn Ki-young got a lot of attention, while Lee kun-woo got relatively short shrift. Although there has been relatively little research on Lee Kun-woo, there is no doubt that Lee Kun-woo is an important figure as one of the composers who tried to establish folk music in Korea, liberated from Japan. In this study, among the art songs composed by Lee Kun-woo during the liberation period, the song collections “Kum Jan-di” and “San-gil, which reveal his composition techniques and folk song features, were selected and the musical characteristics of a total of 11 songs were investigated. First, Lee Kun-woo’s musical life was roughly examined and then, the background of Western art songs and Koran art songs, and the musical characteristics of art songs were also investigated. Next, the musical characteristics of the songs in his collections “Kum Jan-di” and “San-gil” were analyzed through three categories. The findings of the analysis are as follows; first, he expressed his longing for a lover or regret about the past based on nature and used poems heavily biased towards socialism that were not common in songs; second, when the poem was too long or epic, there were frequent changes in beat and tempo; finally, there were songs that showed prominent characteristics of folk songs.

고려가요 소재 재즈작품의 음악적 해석에 대한 고찰

This study tried to look into the musical interpretation of jazz works based on Goryeo Gayo. To this end, it analyzed the songs ‘Jewibo’ and ‘Gasiri’ of Lim Mi-sung Quintet, which is known to represent Korean contemporary jazz. The song ‘Jewibo’ quoted the lyrics, translated into modern Korean language from the original Goryeo Gayo ‘Jewibo’, containing the story of “a lady’s fidelity and virtuelessness,” and attempted to capture the meaning with contemporary jazz melody. The song ‘Gasiri’ also expresses the original meaning, quoting the lyrics translated into modern Korean from the original Goryo Gayo ‘Gasiri’, which contains “the affection and sorrow of separation between a man and a woman.” First, the study analyzed the original Goryeo Gayo ‘Jewibo’ and ‘Gasiri’. Next, it analyzed the lyrics, structure, melody, and harmony of Lim Mi-sung Quintet’s jazz versions. As a result, it was confirmed that old poetry could be fully expressed through jazz music, and that melodies and rhythms of jazz, which mainly uses modes, could be harmonized with the syllables and rhymes of old poetry. This study suggests that jazz, a global music genre, can be sufficiently combined with Korean classical literature. Furthermore, this attempt by Lim Mi-sung Quintet, to incorporated Korean classical literature and contemporary jazz, shows that literature and music can be fused and that classic and modernness can be harmonized. It is expected to open a new way to succeed in cultural heritage.

박춘석 작품에서 나타나는 예술가곡적 요소에 관한 고찰

본 연구는 한국대중음악사에서 수많은 히트곡을 남긴 박춘석의 작품세계에 주목하였다. 박춘석은 이미자, 패티김, 남진, 나훈아, 문주란, 정훈희, 하춘화 등 당시 ‘박춘석 사단’이라고 불리었던 인기 가수들과의 협연을 통하여 우리 가요계에 많은 발자취를 남겼다. 중요한 연구적 가치를 가지고 있는 박춘석의 음악을 대상으로 한 음악분석이나 학술적 연구는 그가 이룩한 업적에 비해 거의 이루어지지 않고 있다. 본 논문에서는 박춘석 작품에서 나타나는 예술가곡적 요소에 주목하였고, 본격적인 연구에 앞서 서양의 예술가곡 개념과 한국의 예술가곡 개념을 살펴보고, 그로부터 도출되는 예술가곡의 음악적 특징을 통해 박춘석 작품에서 나타나는 예술가곡적 요소를 고찰하였다. 첫 번째, 가사의 문학적 요소로 가사에서 언어의 배열에서 음악의 중요 요소인 운율과 리듬이 형성됨을 확인할 수 있었다. 두 번째, 반주의 회화적 요소로 낭만주의 예술가곡의 소재로서 실연, 자연, 전설, 과거에 대한 동경 등을 사용하였던 것을 박춘석 작품에서 확인하였으며, 반주에서 회화적으로 표현한 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 세 번째, 가창의 가곡적 요소로 이탈리아에서 시작된 벨칸토 발성법을 활용한 부드럽고 감미로운 선율을 만들어내는 창법에 주력하였다는 것과 포르타멘토 기법이 활용됨을 확인하였다. This paper studies the world of musical pieces of Chun-seok Park, who created many hit songs in the history of Korean popular music. Chun-seok Park left a deep footprint in the Korean music history through his collaborative performances with popular singers, including Mi-ja Lee, Patty Kim, Jin Nam, Hun-a Nah, Juran Moon, Hunhee Jeong, and Chunhwa Ha, who were collectively known as the “Park Chun-seok team.” However, relatively little effort has been made for the analysis or academic study of the critical value of Park’s music, considering his achievement and contribution. This paper examined the art lied elements in Chun-seok Park’s musical pieces. Prior to the full-scale study, the concept of Western art lied and Korean art lied were examined, and, based on the features of art lied drawn from that examination, the art lied elements of Chun-seok Park’s music were considered. In conclusion, three major elements were identified. First, Park created the meter and rhythm with the literary elements of the lyrics, and these are important components of music in the arrangement of the language of the lyrics. Second, he used specific subjects for the romanticism of art lied, such as failure in love, nature, legend, and longing for the past, and he pictorialized these subjects in the instrumental accompaniment. Third, the study found that Park focused on creating soft and gentle melodies by using bel canto vocalization, which originated in Italy, and he employed portamento for his singing method.

고령층의 가청주파수 특성을 고려한 이퀄라이저 연구

1990년대 한국 대중음악에서 하나뮤직의 정체성과 주제의식

본 연구는 1990년대 한국 대중음악을 배경으로 작가주의적 음악을 지향했던 기획사 하나뮤직의 정체성과 작품의 주제 의식을 고찰한 것이다. 먼저 1990년대 한국 대중음악의 특성을 살펴보고 이를 배경으로 하나뮤직의 음악 활동을 조망해 보았다. 1990년대는 문화적으로 많은 변화가 있었던 시기였다. 그 속에서 대중음악은 다양한 모습으로 발전해 나갔으며 주류 음악 뿐만 아니라 언더그라운드음악이 서로 상호 보완을 하며 대중들에게 더욱 풍성한 음악들을 제공했다. 하나뮤직은 1980년대 동아기획의 언더그라운드 정신을 이어가고자 했던 싱어송라이터 중심의 음악 공동체였다. 그들에게는 ‘작가주의적 음악 공동체’라는 수식어가 따른다. 하나뮤직만의 정체성과 작품의 주제의식을 도출해 내기 위해 1990년대 주류 음악들의 주제 의식과 하나뮤직 음악들의 주제 의식을 살펴보았다. 각각 곡의 주제 의식이 뚜렷하고 하나뮤직의 작가주의적 특징을 나타내는 몇 곡을 선별하여 가사를 분석했으며 이를 통해 주류 음악과 대비되는 하나뮤직의 정체성과 작품의 주제 의식을 고찰하였다. 본 연구는 한국 대중음악사에 영향을 미친 하나뮤직을 재조명 하는데 의의가 있다. This study examines the identity and the artistic themes of Hana Music in the context of Korean popular music in the 1990s. First, the research looked at the characteristics of Korean popular music in the 1990s to view the musical performance of Hana Music against this background. There were many cultural changes in the 1990s. In these changes, popular music had developed in various ways, and mainstream and underground music complemented each other, providing richer music to the public. Hana Music was a music community that sought to continue the underground spirit of Dong-A records in the 1980s. They are called the ‘auteurist music community’. The study examined the theme of Hana Music and mainstream music in the 1990s so as to find out the identity and artistic themes of Hana Music. The lyrics of selected songs were analyzed in an attempt to examine the identity and artistic themes of Hana Music in contrast to mainstream music. This study has its significant in reminding us Hana Music, which had a great influence on the history of Korean popular music.

1980년대 가수 조용필 음악 가사의 특징

1980년대의 대중음악사에서는 조용필이 반드시 빠지지 않고 등장한다. 1980년대의 대중들은 남녀노소, 나이를 불문하고 조용필의 음악을 즐겨 들었다. 1970년대부터 이어져 오던 군사정권의 억압에 의해 대중들의 심리상태는 불안정한 상태였으나 그 안에서 피어나는 민주화의 불씨는 꺼지지 않았다. 그런 시기에 조용필이 추구하던 음악은 대중들이 추구하는 음악이었다. 본인의 색이 드러나면서도 대중들의 성향을 파악하여 작품을 만들었다. 그의 음악성, 스타성, 기획력은 그의 1집이 대한민국 최초로 100만 장을 돌파한 것으로 증명하였다. 대중가요는 그 시대 얼마나 많은 사람이 향유하였는지도 중요하지만, 대중들의 소비량을 무시할 수 없는데 조용필의 음악은 지금까지도 꾸준히 많은 대중에게 소비되어 왔기 때문에 주목할 만하다. 1980년대에 연간 1장씩의 앨범을 발매하던 조용필은 직접 작사, 작곡한 작품들도 있지만 길지 않은 시간 동안 많은 곡을 발표한 만큼 함께 작업한 작곡가, 작사가 또한 여러 사람이 존재하였다. 당대 대중들에게 많은 인기를 얻었던 조용필의 곡을 작업한 작사가는 조용필과 작업하는 그 자체로 가치를 증명할 수 있었다. 대중가요의 가사에는 시대상, 대중들의 정서 등이 담겨있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 조용필의 가사에 어떤 부분이 대중들의 마음을 흔들었는지 조용필 음악의 가사를 특징적으로 살펴보려 한다. Cho, Yong-pil is found without exception in the history of popular music in the 1980s. The people in the 1980s enjoyed his music regardless of age or gender. People’s psychology was unstable by the oppression of military junta since the 1970s, but the embers of democratization flaring up in it were unextinguished. At such times, Cho, Yong-pil’s music was the one that people sought. He tried to grasp the inclination of people while disclosing his own characteristic. His musicality, star quality, and planning ability were proven when his first album was sold more than 1 million for the first time in Korea. In pop music, by how many people it was enjoyed at the time is important, but people’s consumption is unnegligible. With that being said, Cho, Yong-pil’s music is worth of notice because his music has steadily been consumed by people. At that time, even if there were songs that Cho, Yong-pil composed and wrote lyrics by himself, he had co-worked with other composers and lyricists because he had to announce many songs for not very long time. The lyricists who worked for Cho, Yong-pil’s songs, which gained massive popularity among people could prove their value by working with him. The phases of the times, public sentiment, etc are contained in the lyrics of pop music. This study aims to examine the lyrics of Cho, Yong-pil’s music to see which part of his lyrics moved people.
