지역신문 기사생산에 영향을 미치는 요인에 대한 질적 연구

이 연구는 무료 일간지임에도 불구하고 지역 언론으로서 나름의 역할을 하고 있는 것으로 평가 받고 있는 『광주드림』의 기사생산과정을 참여관찰과 심층면접을 통해 면밀히 밝히고자 하였다. 특히 기사생산에 영향을 끼치는 요인(힘)들과 이들 사이의 상호작용을 분석하고자 하였다. 이를 통해, 광주지역에 신문들이 난립하고 있지만 지역 언론 본연의 기능을 제대로 수행하고 있는 신문이 거의 없는 현실과 문제들에 대한 이해를 심화시키고 그 개선 방향을 조망하는 데 기여하고자 하였다. 연구결과, 『광주드림』기사생산에 영향을 끼치는 요인(힘)은 크게 다섯 가지로 나타났다; 1) 역사적 요인으로 지역 언론 본연의 기능을 지향했던 『광주드림』의 창간배경, 2) 개인적 요인으로 『광주드림』??구성원들의 주류사회와 문화에 대한 비판적 성향, 3) 조직적 요인으로 비위계적 조직문화와 편집권의 독립, 4) 관행적 요인으로 출입처 제도의 폐지, 5) 경제적 요인으로 광고주의 영향력, 재정적 열악성, 그리고 독자확보를 위한 경쟁. 역사적 요인과 개인적 요인은 기사생산을 위한 기본적 환경으로, 조직적 요인과 관행적 요인은 실질적 환경으로 작동하면서, 『광주드림』이 지역 정치권력에 대한 감시와 비판, 지역성과 시민밀착성, 소수자들에 대한 배려 등과 같은 특성(차별성)들을 지니도록 하였다. 경제적 요인은 이러한 『광주드림』의 특성(차별성)들을 약화시키는 환경을 제공하였는데, 특히 재정적 열악성은 통신기사의 의존도 그리고 심층성과 전문성이 낮은 기사의 출현가능성을 높였고, 독자확보를 위한 경쟁은 『광주드림』 기사의 연성화를 불러일으켰다. 이 연구의 결과는 지역신문사들이 지역 언론 본연의 기능을 제대로 수행하고 있지 못한 문제를 과도하게 경제적 열악함에 의한 것으로 치부하는 지역언론계나 학계의 사고 경향에 문제를 제기한다. 또한 지역 신문사들을 살리기 위한 정부차원의 지원은 계속되어야 하지만 지역 신문사들에 대한 정량적 평가를 기준으로 이루어지는 단순한 경제적 지원만으로는 그 목적을 달성하기 어렵다는 것도 시사한다고 하겠다. It has been said that Gwangjudream, nevertheless a free press, plays a role as a local press that it should be, in a situation that other local papers do not. This study aims to reveal the forces that influence the article production of Gwangjudream, and to examine the interrelations between them, through using the methods of participant observations and depth interviews. In this course, it is eventually purpose of providing more deep understandings on the present circumstances and problems of the local papers and having a chance to concern the concrete ways to enhance them. This study results in revealing the five forces that primarily influence the article production of Gwangjudream: 1) as a historical force, keeping the spirit of the first publication that look forward to playing a role as a local press that it sound be, 2) as an individual force, the habitus of its members that is critical of mainstream society and culture, 3) as an organizational force, non-hierarchical culture and the independence of the editorial rights, 4) as a habitual force, the deny of beat system, 5) as an economical force, the power of sponsors, financial poorness, and the competition for attracting subscribers. While the historical force and the individual force play a role as fundamental circumstances and the organizational force and the habitual force as practical circumstances for producing articles, they encourage to emerge the characteristics of the articles that are related to citizens’ everyday life and reflect locality, and criticize and keep an eye on government and other public offices. However, the economical force provides the circumstances that weaken the characteristics of Gwangjudream. The results of this study question the perspective to overly regard it as coming from their economical weakness that the local newspaper do not play a role as a local press that it should be.

This study examines the ways that audience enjoy and consume a movie theater and a movie in the view of regarding a movie theater as a space of making meanings and interpretations for it as well as of consuming a movie. Especially, It explores the meanings of a exclusive-use theater for art film in the circumstance of the domination of multi-plex theaters. For this, this study takes Gwangju Theater, one of a exclusive-use theater for art film, as a research subject, and then analyzes the meanings of Gwangju Theater as a space and various activities made in the space. As results, Gwangju Theater has (or is imposed with) various meanings in terms of history, movie, and place. And the audiences use Gwangju Theater in order to consume (or produce) the various meanings of Gwangju Theater as a space and impose specific meanings to their activities in the theater, as well as watch movies. These results indicate and urge the necessity and usefulness for us to see a exclusive-use theater for art film from the view of a cultural logic.

A Steer-by-Wire system has so many advantages comparing with conventional mechanical steering system that it is expected to take key role in future environment friendly vehicle and intelligent transportation system. The mechanical connection between the hand wheel and the front axle will become obsolete. SBW system provides many benefits in terms of functionality, and at the same time present significant challenges - fault tolerant, fail safety - too. In this paper, failure analysis of SBW system will be performed and than sensor fusion technique will be proposed for fail safety of SBW system. A sensor fusion logic of steering angle sensor by using steering angle sensor, torque sensor and rack position sensor will be developed and simulated by fault injection simulation.

The main causes of biliary obstruction are stones and cancers. Fascioliasis is a very rare case which causes biliary obstruction. Fascioliasis is a zoonosis caused by Fasciola hepatica which infects herbivores like sheep and cattle. F. hepatica lives in the biliary system or the liver parenchyma of a host. In Korea, the occurrence of this infection in human is very rare and only few cases have been reported. A 32-year-old male presented with upper abdominal pain and jaundice. His laboratory finding revealed elevated liver transaminases. Abdomen CT scan showed mild left intrahepatic bile duct dilatation. On ERCP, adult F. hepatica worms were found and were thus removed. Concurrently, clonorchiasis was diagnosed by stool exam and serologic enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay test. Clonorchiasis was treated with praziquantel. Herein, we report a case of intrahepatic bile duct dilatation due to F. hepatica infection with concurrent Clonorchis sinensis infestation. (Korean J Gastroenterol 2014,64:298-301)

Two men were admitted to hospital with flank pain, hematuria, which was diagnosised as ureteral stone. Elevation of aspartate aminotransferase (AST) without typical pattern of toxic hepatitis was observed. Careful history taking, several laboratory tests, abdominal and pelvis computered tomography was done. Findings from theses examinations supported the clinical diagnosis of ureteral stone complicated of exercised induced rabdomyolysis. Early recognization of rhabdomyolysis in clinical setting is important, because clinical manifestations have ranged from asymtomatic elevation of creatine kinase to acute renal failure which is a life threating medical emergency.
