Microencapsulation에 의한 미세조류의 고밀도 배양

본 연구에서는 미세조류의 고밀도 배양을 위한 경제적인 공정을 개발하는 차원에서 3종의 미세조류 즉, Chlorella vulgaris, Dunaliella salina 및 Porphyridium purpureum를 Ca-alginate 로 microencapsulation 한 후 air-bubble column형 배양조에서 고밀도 배양을 시도하였다. $2\%\;CaCl_2$ 농도로 capsule을 제조할 때 capsule의 안정성이 가장 좋았으며, capsule 막의 두께 및 $CO_2$ 공급유무에 따른 미세조류 (Chlorella vulgaris)의 생산성은 거의 차이가 없었다. 한편, 3종의 미세조류 모두 capsule로 고정화시킨 것이 bead로 고정화한 미세조류나 free cell 보다 농도가 높았으며, 특히Dunaliella salina가 microencapsulation에 의한 고밀도 배양 효과가 가장 뛰어나 free cell 보다 약 5배 정도의 생산성을 나타내었다. The three speices of miroalgae (Chlorella vulgaris, Dunaliella salina and Porphyridium purpureum) were immobilized in Ca-alginate capsules as a basic study for development of economic cultivation process, and then were cultivated in an air-bubble column bioreactor. Under the batch culture of aerobic conditions, the thickness of the capsule membrane and $CO_2$ supply did not affect the growth of the immobilized microalga, Chlorella vulgaris. Cell concentration of immobilized microalgae in the capsule was higher than those of imobilized microalgae in beads and free cells. The cell concentration of microencapsulated Dunaliella salina was greater about 5 times than that of free cells. Based on these results, it is concluded that the application of microencapsulation technology to the culture of microalgae was an effective method for high-density cultivation.

In this paper, we present a method of generating intonation contour for Korean text-to-speech (TTS) system and a method of synthesizing emotional speech, both based on Soft template mark-up language (Stem-ML), a novel prosody generation model combining mark-up tags and pitch generation in one. The evaluation shows that the intonation contour generated by Stem-ML is better than that by our previous work. It is also found that Stem-ML is a useful tool for generating emotional speech, by controling limited number of tags. Large-size emotional speech database is crucial for more extensive evaluation.

본 논문에서는 ATi$O_3$(A=Ca, Sr, Ba) 조성을 갖는 단순 페롭스카이트 구조에서 생성되는 격자결함 구조에 대하여 고찰하였다. 페롭스카이트 구조는 고충전밀도를 갖기 때문에 프렌클 결함은 고려되지 않았다. 쇼트키결함이나, 고유전자결함도 자연적으로 포함된 억셉타 불순물 농도에 비하면 무시할 정도로 적은 양이다. 실제적으로 전기적 특성에 영향을 주는 것은 전하적 결함을 발생하는 aliovalent 불순물이다. 삼성분계이기 때문에 양이온간의 비화학양론이 발생하며 BaTi$O_3$나 SrTi$O_3$에서 수백 ppm이내의 AO나 Ti$O_2$의 용해도가 관찰되나, CaTi$O_3$에서는 상당량의 CaO와 $TiO_2의$ 용해가 가능하다. This paper has reviewed some of the basic principles that underlie the field of defect chemistry in simple ATi$O_3$(A=Ca, Sr, Ba) perovskites. Frenkel defects in perovskite structure is very much unlikely, and Schottky defects and intrinsic electronic defects in undoped materials are negligibly small compared with background acceptor impurities. The electrical properties of perovskite ceramics are dependent on the aliovalent impurities. Since perovskite structure is a ternary system, the stoiohiometry between cations as well as cation-anion ratio will affect defect structure and electrical properties. BaTi$O_3$and SrTi$O_3$show a limited deviation from the cation stoichiometry while CaTi$O_3$has significant excess CaO and Ti$O_2$solubility.

과잉의 CaO와 $TiO_2$를 각각 포함한 $CaTiO_3$의 결함구조를 평형상태의 전기전도도를 $85O^{\circ}C$와 $1050^{\circ}C$사이에서 산소분압의 함수로 측정하여 연구하였다. 과잉의 CaO는 A site와 B site에 나누어져서 용해되어 $Ca_{Ti}$"와 Vo", 결함을 생성하였으며, 과잉의 $TiO_2$는 $V_{Ca}$"과 Vo"을 생성했다. 평형상태의 전기전도도는 CaO 용해도 5000ppm과 $TiO_2$ 용해도 2000ppm을 각각 나타냈다. 과잉의 양이온에 의하여 생성된 산소공공은 이온전도를 하여 넓은 영역의 산소 분압에 무관한 전도도 최소값을 보였으며, 반대로 대전된 음이온 결함과 결함쌍은 관찰되지 않았다.온 결함과 결함쌍은 관찰되지 않았다. The defect structure of calcium titanates with CaO excess or $TiO_2$ excess was studied by measuring electrical conductivities as a funcition of oxygen partial pressure at $85O^{\circ}C$ to $1050^{\circ}C$. Execess CaO may divide itself equally between A and B sites, resulting in $Ca_{Ti}$" and Vo", while excess $TiO_2$ form $V_{Ca}$" and Vo". The equilibrium electrical conductivity data indicate that the solubilities of CaO and $TiO_2$ in $CaTiO_3$ are 5000ppm and 2000ppm, respectively. Oxygen vacancies contributed to the ionic conduction which flatten the conductivity minima and did not make any defect association with oppositely charged defects.ely charged defects.

Based on the data collected during January of 1963, 1964 and 1965, heat transfer from the sea to the air over the south-western part of the Japan Sea was evaluated by the formula of Jacobs. The mean sensible heat transfer and the rate of evaporation in the mild winter of 1964 were 360ly day$\^$-1/ and 8.1mm day$\^$-1/, respectively. However, these values increased as much as 690ly day$\^$-1/ and 14.4mm day$\^$-1/ in the severe winter of 1963. The heat hudget of the Japan Sea in January were related to the magnitude of cold water mass formed in August in the Korea Strait.
