복합운동프로그램이 대학생들의 신체균형, 어깨 기울기 및 거북목 자세에 미치는 영향

        한길수(Han, Gil-Soo),송인욱(Song, In-Wook) 한국체육과학회 2017 한국체육과학회지 Vol.26 No.2

The purpose of this study is to measure and analyse the changes in balance, shoulder gradient, and forward head posture after 12 week combined exercise program by dividing the male and female college students who are attending universities into two groups: the group of combined exercise group of 19 individuals and the control group of 18. The study findings are as follows: In Lt/Rt balance, especially in Lt, the group of combined exercise group got better by 3.36%, which showed a statistically significant difference(p<.05) and the control group got worse by 2.45%, which wasn’t statistically significant. Whereas in Rt, the group of combined exercise group got worse by 2.98%, which showed a statistically significant difference(p<.05) and the control group also got worse by 2.27%, which wasn’t statistically significant. In shoulder gradient, especially in Lt, the group of combined exercise group declined by 30.90% and the control group by 13.13% and in Rt, the control group declined by 6.66%, whereas the group of combined exercise group increased by 88%, but there was no statistical significance. In relation to forward head posture, the group of combined exercise group improved by 16.48% on average better than the control group, which showed a statistically significant difference(p<.05). Taken together, it appears that the combined exercise program has a positive impact on body balance and correction of forward head posture in college students and thus is considered to be strongly encouraged in the clinical settings.

비만 입식 근로자들의 하지부종, 신체 안정성 및 통증지수 변화에 미치는 영향

        한길수(Han, Gil-Soo),한승환(Han, Seung-Hwan) 한국체육과학회 2017 한국체육과학회지 Vol.26 No.3

The purpose of this study is to measure and analyze changes in lower extremity edema, body stability and VAS among 17 standing workers(9 workers from a normal group and 8 workers from an obesity group) before work and after one-week work. The study findings are as follows. 1. When it comes to changes in lower extremity edema, both groups showed an increase in right and reft ankle circumferences after one-week work and there were statistically significant differences(p<.05). 2. Compared to the normal group, right calf circumference increased to 3.07% in the obesity group and there were statistically significant differences(p<.01). Both groups showed statistically significant differences in left calf circumference(p<.01). 3. Both groups showed an increase in body stability and there were statistically significant differences(p<.05). Mostly, it increased to 25.89% more in the obesity group. 4. VAS increased to 116.54% in the normal group and 164.23% in the obesity group and statistically significant differences were found in both groups(p<.001). These findings demonstrate that lower extremity edema, body stability and VAS increased more among obesity standing workers, compared to the normal group. Therefore, it is considered that obesity standing workers need to improve dietary therapy, increase physical activity, wear elastic compression stocking or massage legs themselves and practice lower extremity exercise in daily life.

This study divided 40 female college students into the PEG and DSEG that consists of 20 members each, and conducted a 14-weeks exercise program. The purpose of this study was to compare and soft lean mass, body fat, BMI, waist-hip ratio and physical strength factor. SPSSWIN(ver.15.0) statistical program was used to handle and analyze the data, and findings are as follows. After the exercise treatment, the PEG showed an increase of 15%, and the DSEG showed and increase of 15.08% in muscular strength. As for changes in flexibility, the PEG showed an increase of 15.7%, and the DSEG showed and increase of 9.44%, and significant statistical differences were observed in groups. As for changes in body composition, the PEG showed increases of 0.13% and 0.73% in body weight and soft lean mass, and reductions of 1.69%, 2.07% and 0.09% in body fat mass, body fat and BMI, but no significant statistical differences were observed(p>.05). However, the right leg showed a reduction of 1.42%, and significant statistical differences were observed(p<.05). The DSEG showed increases of 1.84%, 2.72%, 2.10% and 1.42% in body weight, soft lean mass, body fat mass and BMI, and significant statistical differences were observed in body weight, soft lean mass and BMI and significant statistical differences were observed in body weight, soft lean mass and BMI. On the other hand, reductions of 0.03%, 4.93% and 0.15% were observed in body fat, waist-hip ratio and left leg, but no significant statistical differences were observed(p>.05). In the correlation analysis of control variables of muscular strength, flexibility and body composition, the PEG showed increased soft lean mass and reduced body fat mass, body fat and BMI, and significant correlations were observed between soft lean mass and body fat mass, body fat mass and body fat, waist-hip ratios, body fat and waist-hip ratio, BMI and soft lean mass, body fat mass, waist-hip ratios. As for the DSEG, body fat mass and BMI increased after the exercise treatment and significant correlations were observed between body fat mass and body fat, waist-hip ratios, body fat and waist-hipe ratios, BMI, body fat mass and waist-hip ratios.

Vol.19 No.3

This study was aimed to determine the effect for the weight distribution and lumbar extension strength associated with obesity index in female patients of Chronic Low Back Pain. sixty (obesity group(BMI: 25Kg/m²): n=30, non obesity group: n=30) subjects participated. both group were tested on MedX machine for lumbar extension strength. Front heels and back heels were measured twice by using the Tetrax Portable Multiple System. Independent sample t-test was used to analyze the difference between the two group. Results showed that there was no difference between both group even though the weight distribution of back heels was higher than front heels. As for the lumbar extension strength at each angle, the obese back pain group appeared to have a lower muscular strength than the normal group at 0˚, but was stronger at angles 12˚, 24˚, 36˚, 48˚, 60˚, and 72˚. There was a statistically significant difference in muscular strength at lumbar flexion angles 60˚ and 72˚ (p<.05). Overall, the back pain group that was obese according to weight distribution tended to maintain their center of force more backwards by increasing the lordosis degree with abdominal distension. The same results appeared in lumbar extension strength. Especially in the lumbar extension strength test at each angle, a greater strength was shown at 60˚ and 72˚ where the patient bends the upper body over during the test. We were able to realize that the largest extension degree of 0˚ was a factor showing lower muscular strength.

Vol.25 No.2

The purpose of this study is to compare and analyze the differences of leg length, shoulder gradient and forward head posture in 70 university students(37 males, 33 females). The study findings are as follows. In relation to the differences of leg length, the left leg of males was 0.65㎜ longer and the right leg of females was 2.47㎜ longer. In relation to shoulder gradient, males and females had a left shoulder gradient of 0.05 degrees and 0.55 degrees respectively, but there was no statistical significance. In relation to left and right balance, 0.93% of weight in males leaned to the right more and 2.01% of weight in females leaned to the right more. In a neck posture, 27subjects(14 males, 13 females) had a balanced posture and 43 subjects(23 males, 20 females) had a forward head posture. In a forward head posture, males tended to lean their heads forward 4.59㎜ more than females, but there was no statistical significance. These findings show that many university students have different leg lengths, shoulder gradient and forward head posture. In order to improve the bad postures, it is considered that students have to avoid sitting with their legs crossed in daily life, bending their heads forward when using smart phones long hours, bending their legs when sleeping in a prone position, or sitting on their knees.
