In automotive industries, stamping of large-sized one piece panel gives many merits which brings about an accurate and strong body assembly, and high productivity. But it also demands low yield ratio of material and material cost increase. In order to solve this promble, stamping technology using laser-welded blanks has been adapted in automotive industries, in which are made of different sheet thickness or different strength material joined toghter. In this paper, we investigate the formability of laser-welded blanks with different thickness. Two forming modes of deep drawing and plane strain stretching was considered and from FEM simulations the effect of laser welding was clarified.<br/> <br/>
