Computer Simulation에 의한 FMS의 生産日程 計劃 硏究

An FMS(Flexible Manufacturing System) consists of a group of computer numerically controlled machines linked by and automated material handling system, and which operates under computer control. FMS's are designed for production of small and medium-sized batchs comprising several different part types with the efficiency of automated mass production and the flexiblity of the job shop. In this research, job scheduling for minimizing APT(average processing time) was studied in FMS with 3 machining centers which are served by a cyclic-unidirectional conveyor while the conveyor speed is set to 1, 2, or 3, respectively. The results of this research could be useful to reduce APT in part manufacturing systems in practice.

Multi-criteria decision making(MCDM) to imprecision aggregate production planning problems choose the best alternative reflecting at best the preference of the decision maker in alternatives evaluated according to the multi-criteria. The problem is more complex if the evaluations of alternatives according to criteria and informations are expressed imprecision. It requires suitable aggregate production planning method to deal with imprecisions, therefore theory of fuzzy sets and fuzzy logic is appropriated to deal with systematically treation imprecisions.

Production planning and inventory control are important issues due to the large-scale and complexity of a current production system. Especially, there have been many researches in the aggregate production planning, but most of studies do not consider a fuzziness about the objective preference of a decision maker and represent an uncertainty as probabilistic measure. To make up these points, an interactive fuzzy algoritm is developed for quantifying a fuzziness by interaction between decision analyst and decision maker. This paper presents a basis for applying this algorithm to the aggregate production planning with multi-objective.

This study concerns about a possible fire protection way for high-rise buildings. It is foud that the number of high-rise buildings are increased 29.4% while the number of fire are increased 16% than the year of 1990. The important characteristics of fire on buildings can be described as : 1. It flashes over all around after a certain time period. 2. It is necessary to extinguish the fire on the initial growth since it flashes over 2-5 meter per second through the vertical openings of buildings. Therefor, there is a big possibility that it is developed to uncontrollable fire. The fire protection facilities for fire prevention purposes require a good maintenance system since they are very delicated and complicate. The age of the system also affects the performance of the system and makes the system malfunction. It is found that 96.2% of high-rise buildings had fire detection system and 82.8% of them were in good shape in the year of 1991. However, only 39.2% of the alam system worked properly with 13.2% of utilization. In this study, it is suggested that installation of intelligent fire dection systems developed using the modern electronic techniques for high-rise buildings as well as the components and installation processes. In stallation of the system is strongly recommended since there is a stack effect on the fire at high-rise buildings and it is very difficult to maintain the delicated and complex fire dection systems. The installation of this system requires a big investment on the beginning stage, however it will save many lives while reducing the hazards and losses of fire at high-rise buildings.

In this paper, an alogrithm for edge detection using contour tracing which relieved addition to constraint for the traditional pattern recogntion system is proposed. In general, the pattern recognition system consists of a preprocessing process, a feature extraction process, and a recognition process. The feature extraction process that consists of thinning and edge detection is important because of recognition. Edge is found by the proposed algorithm after the thinning process. The algorithm is simple. It extracts the direction codes of pattern contour very quick.
