어머니 언어 및 몸짓에 대한 영아의 소통적 반응과 어휘력 간의 관계

본 연구는 어머니-영아 상호작용에서 영아의 소통적 반응의 경향성, 월령에 따른 차이, 영아 어휘력 간 관계를 살펴보았다. 연구 대상은 10~18개월 영아와 그들의 어머니 83쌍이었고, 각 가정에서 자연스럽게 이루어지는 어머니-영아 상호작용 과정의 소통적 반응을 관찰하였으며, MCDI-K 어휘력 체크리스트를 통해 영아 어휘력을 수집하였다. 영아의 소통적 반응은 어머니의 언어 및 몸짓이 선행하고 3초 이내에 후행하는 영아의 발화와 몸짓을 The Observer XT 13을 통해 코딩한 후 연속적 분석법을 통해 분석하였고, 반응횟수와 반응률을 산출하여 SPSSWIN 21.0으로 일원변량분석, 상관분석을 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 영아는 어머니 주도적 언어보다 영아 지지적 언어에 반응하는 정도가 높았고, 어머니의 몸짓에는 동일한 유형의 몸짓으로 모방하여 반응하는 경향이 있었으며, 영아의 월령이 높아질수록 어머니 언어 및 몸짓에 대한 발화 반응과 몸짓 반응이 증가했다. 또한 전반적으로 영아의 소통적 반응은 어휘력과 정적 상관이 있었다. 본 연구 결과를 통해 어머니-영아 간 상호작용 과정에서 나타나는 어머니-영아 의사소통 패턴 및 영아의 소통적 반응에 대한 기초적인 정보를 제공하였고, 소통적 반응과 어휘력 간 관계를 검증함으로써 영아 언어 발달에 관한 연구를 심화하였으며, 관련한 후속 연구를 제안하였다.

사상의 통국가성-2000년대 이후 김윤식의 한국근대문학론

Kim Yoon-shik(1936∼2018) is a towering figure in modern Korean literature with his scholarly oeuvre of over two hundred volumes covering almost every possible topic of the field. One of the trademarks of Kim’s studies on modern Korean literature is that he kept questioning how to define modern Korean literature. Despite the fact that he identified himself as literary historian and critic in modern Korean literature, it seems that his interest was never in offering the systemic knowledge of the field. Instead, he ceaselessly questioned parameters of modern Korean literature and his own role in setting the parameters. Looking at the course of Kim’s studies in modern Korean literature, it can be divided into two eras:pre-1990s and post-1990s eras. During the latter era, Kim focused how he had been actively engaging in making association of literary texts written in Korean to the notion of modern nation of “Korea.” In other words, his post-1990s work effectively showed how the nationalist visioning and making of “Korea” had been executed in transnational context. Throughout the process of relativizing of “Korea” in his self-reflective examination, Kim formulated the writing as ongoing process of creating its own parameters. In this paper, I highlight the points observed in Kim’s post-1990s work by analyzing Kim’s studies on late-colonial bilingual Korean literature and autographical essays on his academic life, both composed in the 2000s and 2010s. 김윤식의 한국근대문학 연구의 본질 중 하나는, ‘한국근대문학’이라는 개념의 지속적인 문제화이다. 한국근대문학의 사가(史家)이자 비평가로서 김윤식의 목적은 자기 학문분야 특유의 대상을 자기 연구를 통하여 정리ㆍ확정하거나, 그에 관한 지식을 정교화하는 데 있지 않았다. 2백 여 권에 육박하는 그의 저서들은, 자기가 무엇을 연구하고 있는지, 그 연구 행위 자체가 그 ‘무엇’과 무슨 관계인지 끊임없이 질문하는 과정이었다고 할 수 있다. 1990년대 이전의 김윤식은 ‘한국근대문학’의 개념은 ‘근대’의 본질적 불안정성 때문에 불분명할 수밖에 없다고 보았다면, 1990년대 이후의 김윤식은 ‘한국’과 ‘문학’을 연결시키는 자기 연구행위에 필연적으로 내재된 모순에 주목하면서 이것이 ‘근대’의 본질에 해당한다고 보았다. ‘역사’가 종말을 맞은 1990년대 이후의 시대에 와서 김윤식은 ‘근대’라는 역사적 시대의 불안정성을, 자기 외부로서의 역사로부터가 아니라 자기내부로부터 도출하는 방향으로 전환한 것이다. 이 글은 2000년대 이후 김윤식이 출판한, 일제말기 한국문학에 대한 연구서와 자기의 사상적 여정을 서술한 회고록을 분석함으로써, 그러한 전회를 도출해 보려 한다. 마지막으로 이 글은 그러한 전회의 궁극적 의의가 한국근대문학사와 그 사가로서의 김윤식 자신의 통국가성(the transnational)에 대한 인식과 그것을 체화하는 글쓰기 형식의 창안에 있다는 테제를 제시한다.

자발성 출혈을 동반한 뎅기출혈열 1례

Dengue is an acute febrile viral disease which is found in tropical and sub-tropical regions around the world. Dengue fever has steadily increased in both incidence and distribution over the past 50 years. Even though Korea is not an endemic country for dengue fever, with the increasing numbers of overseas travelers in Korea, the numbers of imported dengue cases are steadily increasing. Here, we report a case of imported dengue hemorrhagic fever in a Korean child presenting with fever and epistaxis. Dengue fever should be considered if a patient who has a recent travel history to endemic areas showed classical symptoms. 뎅기열은 열대와 아열대지역에서 호발하며, Aedes aegypti 모기에 의해 전파되는 바이러스성 급성 발열 질환이다. 뎅기열은 발열과 인플루엔자 유사증상, 피부발진으로 특징지어지며, 뎅기출혈열의 경우 발열과 출혈증상, 혈장삼출 등을 동반하며, 심한 경우 혈장삼출에 의한 저혈량성 쇼크가 발생할 수 있고, 이를 뎅기쇼크증후군이라 하며 적절한 치료가 없을 경우 사망까지 이를 수 있다. 국내에서는 뎅기열의 발생빈도가 낮아 접하기가 쉽지 않고, 따라서 감별진단으로 고려하기 어려운 점이 있다. 저자들은, 11개월간 유학생으로 필리핀에 거주하였던 14세 남아가 뎅기출혈열로 진단된 증례를 경험하였기에 문헌고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다.

Microstructure of a Reflection Holographic Grating Inscribed in an Absorptive Azopolymer Film

The microstructure of a reflection holographic grating fabricated via a photo-isomerization process in an absorptive azopolymer film is analyzed. A surface relief formation takes place on the film’s surface even in the reflection holographic configuration. The polarization-dependent diffraction efficiency and the polarization analysis reveal that the structure of the polarization grating inside the film strongly depends on the amount of optical absorption experienced by the two writing beams. A theoretical analysis shows that the reflection polarization grating, while mimicking a cholesteric liquid crystal structure, is composed of elliptic polarizations with the ellipticity going through a periodic modulation.

식민주의와 민족주의, 그리고 번역: 김윤식의 한일 근대문학 번역론

Kim Yun-sik is considered as one of the founding fathers of the field of modern Korean literature. One of the key themes in his research is the relationship between modern Korean and Japanese literatures, specifically Japan’s influence on the colonial formation of modernity in Korean literature. In discussing this topic, Kim emphasizes that literary modernity is not to be formed within closed sphere of a single nation-state, but as incessant process of complex negotiations between plural national literatures situated in asymmetric power relations. Kim’s writings on the translation between Korean and Japanese modern literatures might be the best example of such theory. In other words, Kim’s translation theory highlights how translation is complicit in colonialism’s intervention in modern nation and literature building process. Through Kim’s theory of translation, it is revealed how fundamentally colonial modern Korea and its literature are. In the colonialist system, translation is the site where it is naturally disclosed that the colonized people’s national identity are in constant process of reconstitution, and the process completely depends on the colonialists’ arbitrary disposition. Seeing the site of translation, which yields the immediate recognition of the nationalism’s complicity in colonialism, it becomes ironically possible to configure modern literature as the site of envisioning of alternative modernities. This paper argues above mentioned points examining two sets of Kim’s writings: first, Kim’s writings on the complex translation and reverse translation process of Nakano Shigeharu’s 1929 poem “Ame no furu Shinagawa eki [Shinagawa Station in the Rain]”; second, Kim’s works on Kim So-un’s Japanese translation of modern Korean poems. 김윤식은 한국근대문학을 독립적 학문 분야로 정립한 학자이다. 그 핵심 연구주제 중 하나는 한일(韓日) 근대문학의 관련, 구체적으로는 일본 근대문학이 식민지기 한국문학의 근대성 형성 과정에 끼친 영향이다. 이 주제에 대한 연구에서 김윤식은, 복수의 민족들이 속한 식민적·비대칭적 권력 관계에서 일어나는 교섭 가운데 근대문학이 형성된다는 점을 강조한다. 김윤식이 한일 근대문학 사이의 번역에 대해 논한 글들을 보면 그러한 면모가 집약적으로 나타난다. 요컨대 김윤식에게 번역은, 식민주의 체제와의 필연적 연관 가운데 근대 민족문학이 발생하는 장에 해당한다. 이러한 관점에서 보면 김윤식은 번역론을 통해, 식민지성을 한국 근대문학의본질로 급진화시킨다. 식민지인의 민족적 정체성이, 식민자가 지배하는 부단한정립·부인·재정립 과정에 처해있음을 보여주는 현장으로 번역이 나타나는 것이다. 이처럼 번역을 둘러싼 식민주의 정치를 현시함으로써 김윤식은, 식민주의와 민족주의에 대한 발생론적 반성을 긴급성을 띤 문학적 과제로 제시하는 데 이른다. 이 글은 김윤식이 나카노 시게하루의 「비 내리는 시나가와역」 번역에 얽힌 복잡한 사정에 대해 쓴 글과 김소운의 조선 근대시 일역에 대해 쓴 글을 검토한다. 이를 통해 김윤식의 번역론이 번역의 정치성에 대한 탈식민주의적·트랜스내셔널한 이론화에 이르고 있음을 논증한다.
