Langerhans cell histiocytosis(LCH), previously known as histiocytosis X, is rare, proliferative disorder in which the accumulation of pathologic Langerhans cell leads to tissue infiltration and destruction. The jaw is involved 10~20% of all LCH and most common oral symptoms are jaw swelling or a palpation mass. Most of subjects are males and disease appears to start before the age of 10 years. An 11 years old girl was referred from pediatric department. Histological examination confirmed the diagnosis LCH. She was treated intra-lesional injection of corticosteroid. The overall outcome was excellent. After a follow-up period of 20 month, the patient present with no evidence of residual disease on Panoramic view and whole body bone scan. We report this early recognized LCH case treated by corticoid injection in good progress with literature review.

The purpose of this study was to evaluate clinical and radiographic changes of regular diameter implants placed in the posterior region. A total of 47 standard diameter implants were consecutively placed in the posterior region of 20 partially edentulous patients. The diameters of the implants were 4.1mm (N=35, 74%) and 4.3mm (N=12, 26%), respectively. Peri-implant bone loss and clinical parameters such as mobility, suppuration, swelling, bleeding on probing (BOP) were evaluated at the baseline and?the final follow-up visit. The age of the patients ranged between 24~82 years (mean age: 54.7 years). The cumulative survival rate of the regular diameter implants loaded for a period of 3-24 months (Mean: 11.7±7.9 month) was 100%. The average bone loss over the follow-up was 0.36±0.67 mm. Success rate was 95.7%. Only two implants failed (bone loss exceeding 1mm after 1 year of placement). Some prosthetic complications occurred, such as screw loosening (N=1) and dissolution of cementation material (N=2). The present study describes successful outcome following the use of standard-diameter-implants placed in the posterior region, and further comprehensive maintenance practices and follow-up schedules are required.
디지털 PLL을 이용한 ATS 지상자 코일 Q 측정장치 개발

For safety reason ATS(Automatic Train Stop) system is being used, which is a kind of communication system with a feedback amplifier and a transformer on the train and wayside coils. The coils are highly resonant LC circuits, also have very high Q(Quality) factors. The Q factors of wayside ATS coils are to be maintained high enough for the amplifier to operate reliably. In this paper a novel Q measurement system is proposed. The system measures the resonant frequency and the bandwidth of the ATS coils, by controlling the phase difference between the transformer and the coil using digital PLL(Phase Locked Loop). The overall configuration and algorithms of the proposed system and the digital PLL control schemes are presented in details. The experimental waveforms are shown to verify the system performances.

A continuous and reliable electrical energy supply is the objective of any power system operation. A transmission line is the part of the power system where faults are most likely to happen. This paler describes the use of wavelet transform for analyzing power system fault transients in order to determine the fault location. Synchronized sampling was made possible by precise time receivers based on GPS time reference, and the sampled data were analyzed using wavelet transform. This paper describes a fault location monitoring system and fault locating algorithm with GPS, DSP processor, and data acquisition board, and presents some experimental results and error analysis.

The purpose of this work is to review the absorption and accumulation of Arsenic and the effect of liver function by GOT, GPT activities after oral administration of Realgar Preparation to rats. Experiments were carried out for the assay of accumulated Arsenic in blood, heart, lung, liver, brain and kidney. The Arsenic concentration was determined by H.Gutzeit method and Silver diethyldithiocarbamate method. Activities of GOT and GPT in serum were measured by Reitman-Frankel method. The experimental results were as follows; 1. Realgar preparation decreased Arsenic accumulation after once administration than Realgar. 2. Realger Preparation decreased Arsenic accumulation after continuous administration than Realgar. 3. Activities of GOT and GPT in serum were increased but Realgar Preparation almost unchanged to liver function than Realgar.
