In this study, spatial analysis tool in respect of visibility is developed. It aims to predict space use efficiency of multi-complex building. Its procedure is as follows; Firstly, the visibility graph of spatial structure should be constructed. Secondly, Integration and Visibility ERAM of visibility graph is calculated using computer application. In order to analyze correlation between analysis tool and actual space use, the movement of COEX mall is surveyed during on 24-28 May 2005. The result of VGA analysis shows a good correlation between Integration(3) and the pedestrian movement. Also, the result of Visibility ERAM analysis shows a good correlation between Visibility ERAM(3) and the pedestrian movement. According to the result of this study, it can be said that spatial analysis using visibility of space seems to be a powerful tool for space usage efficiency check in multi-complex buildings.
복합상업시설에서의 아동 동반 고객 행태분석을 통한 미아 발생원인 고찰

Although the number of child loss in commercial facilities has been growing recently, the prevention method for child loss are still lackingin the environmental aspect. This research examines the causes of lost child in behavioral aspects in order to develop a guideline to preventchild loss in U.E.C. The observational study on the behaviors of guardians and children was conducted in the U.E.C that is visited bymany customers accompanied with children. Then the results of the observational study were marked on the behavioral maps. After analyzingthe behavioral maps, the causes of child loss were determined by classifying into behaviors by age and behaviors by functional space. As aresult, when guardian is unable to pay attention to child by doing something else such as making a purchase, or an inquiry, child may loseguardian by going towards the interesting factors or playing around. Moreover, if the spaces related to children are located at the node withhigh pedestrian density and open structure or the environment that is hard for the guardians to watch over their children, it will be easy forguardians to be inattentive to their children, and get separated from each other. 최근 들어, 상업시설 내에서 아동이 미아가 되고 사고로 이어지는 일이 증가하고 있지만, 환경적인 측면에서의 미아방지대책은 부족한 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 복합상업시설 미아방지 환경설계 가이드라인을 개발하기 위한 기초연구로서, 행태적 측면에서의 미아 발생원인을 고찰하였다. 이를 위해, 아동 동반 이용객이 많은 복합상업시설에서 보호자 및 아동의 행태관찰조사를 실시하였고, 행태지도로 작성하였다. 그리고 그 결과를 ‘연령별 이용객 행태’와 ‘기능적 공간별 이용객 행태’로 구분하여 미아 발생원인을 고찰하였다. 그 결과, 보호자가 구매, 문의 등 다른 일을 하면서 아동에게 주의를 기울이지 못할 때, 아동이 인근의 ‘흥미요소를 보고 이동’하거나 ‘놀이’를 하면서 보호자를 이탈하면 미아가 될 수도 있는 것으로 판단된다. 또한 아동 관련 공간이 보행밀도가 높은 결절점에 위치해있고 개방적인 구조로 이루어져 있으며 보호자의 아동관찰 또한 어려운 환경이면, 보호자 부주의 및 아동 이탈이 발생하기 쉬운 것으로 보인다.

Since the introduction of effective antiretroviral therapy (ART) in the late 1990s, the prognosis for people living with human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) (PLWH) has dramatically improved. High-income countries like South Korea have had rapid declines in HIV-related deaths. Scientific advancements including pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) and “undetectable equals untransmittable (U = U)” knowledge have contributed progress towards the goal of ending the acquired immune deficiency syndrome epidemic by 2030. However, the application of these advancements has been limited in South Korea. Evidence shows that HIV-related stigma and discrimination in healthcare settings remain strong in this region. We review key principles for stigma reduction and people-centered approaches in the era of U = U and identify three priorities: 1) immediate intervention in HIV stigma drivers in healthcare settings; 2) social stigma reduction on multiple levels; and 3) collaboration with key populations.

The purpose of the ERAM model proposed in this paper is to analyze the spatial importance immanent in the intrinsic structure of spaces. Use of the adjacency matrix representing the connection of spaces makes it possible to analyze the spatial structure itself. On the assumption that a large number of people move continually at random in the system, the ratio of elements in any row of the n-th power of the adjacency matrix means the ratio of people of all nodes in equilibrium. Mathematically, it is the ratio of eigenvector corresponding to the dominant (maximum) eigenvalue, Therefore it is the attribute immanent in the structure of spaces itself. Moreover, it is possible to consider the relative level of attraction of spaces and the relative flow from spaces to spaces only by putting the gravity on the adjacency matrix. The ERAM model brings forth the flexible result reflecting the relativity of spaces and flows.

This study examines and analyses the preferences and demands of apartment residents regarding aged apartment remodeling, and constructs a classified database of their preferences and needs. The constructed database then becomes a guideline to developing remodeling methods. The data were collected through an on-line internet survey, targeted to apartment residents, ages 30 or over, residing in the Seoul metropolitan area. The data has been classified by social and demographic aspects (gender, age, income, number of family members) and also by residential aspects (form of ownership, age of apartment, location, size, number of bedrooms), and were synthesized by spatial types. Remodeling demands were ranked in the order of balconies, dining-kitchens, restrooms and auxiliary (storage) rooms, while the demanded form of remodeling were ranked in the order of space expansion, usage alterations and addition in numbers. Analysis of the data revealed that the age of the residents, the age of the apartments and the size of the apartments are the key factors in determining the ranking of remodeling demands.
