This paper proposes new control method of maximum power point tracking for the seaflow generation system. This control system is performed by using the duty ratio control of DC/DC converter. An advantage of MPPT(Maximum Power Point Tracking)control method presented in this paper is not necessary to use the seaflow turbine characteristic at various seaflow speed and measure the tidal speed and/or the rotation speed of the seaflow generator. Therefore the resulting system ha s the characteristics of lower cost, higher efficiency and lower complexity. The fuzzy controller is used to control the duty ratio of DC/DC converter. So the reactivity and the reliablilty of the generation system is developed. Proposed control method was analyzed mathematically and tested by computer simulation by using Matlab Simulink<SUP>?</SUP>.
울릉도 수계의 부착규조군집의 계절적 변이와 DAIpo에 의한 수질평가

We investigated the variations of epilithic diatom community and assessed water quality of the water system of Ulleung Island by DAIpo in April, May, July, August, October, and November of 2003, and January and February of 2004. Samples were collected from four sampling stations. Total 95 taxa were identified from this study and dominant species were Nitzschia inconspicua, Achnanthes minutissima, Gomphonema angustum and Cocconeis placentula var. lineata. The variation of DAIpo values was ranged from 51.14 to 77.77 and the water quality by DAIpo was estimated between α-oligosaprobic and β-oligosaprobic states.
밀양강의 (密陽江) 부착규조 (附着硅藻) 군집 (群集) 분석

To investigate the community of the epilithic diatoms from the Milyang River, the samples were collected from ten sampling stations on March 15, June 13, September 12 and December 19 in 1991. A total of 169 diatom taxa were identified. More species appeared in the downstream of the river than in the upstream. The index of species diversity, evenness and dominance did not change with a continuous regularity by sampling season and station. The epilithic diatom community could be divided as mainly two groups by cluster analysis: the first group from station 1 to 5 was dominated by Achnanthes convergens and Fragilaria vaucheriae, the second from station 6 to 9 was dominated by Achnanthes minutissima and Nitzschia frustulum. According to degree of tolerance to organic water pollution, total 169 taxa were classified as 28 saproxenous taxa, 124 indifferent taxa and 17 saprophilous taxa.

The water quality of the Sinchun river was assessed by Diatom Assemblage Index to organic water pollution(DAIpo) on May 29 in 1991. Total 96 taxa consisted of 14 saprophilous taxa, 61 indifferent taxa and 21 saproxenous taxa were identified in this study. Dominant species were Fragilaria vaucheriae at st.1, Gomphonema angustum at st.2, Nitzschia gracilis at st.3, Navicula pellicolosa at st.6 and Nitzschia palea at st.4, 5, 7, 8, and 9. Cymbella minuta and Synedra ulna were occurred at all stations. DAIpo values decreased rapidly as going to lower course of this river and the highest DAIpo was 79.84 at st. 1 and the lowest was 2.31 at st. 9. The variation of DAIpo was nearly the reverse tendency with electric conductivity. The saprobic levels at each station of the Sinchun river were α-oligosaprobic at st. 1, 2, 3, β-mesosaprobic at st. 4 and polysaprobic at st.5,6,7,8,9. The water quality of the Sinchun river was more severely polluted than that of 1984.

The water quality of the Kumho river severely polluted was assessed by Diatom Assemblage Index to organic water pollution (DAIpo) on June and October in 1991, February and April in 1992. Total 129 taxa consisted of 14 saproxenous taxa, 87 indifferent taxa and 28 saprophilous taxa were identified in this study. DAIpo values decreased rapidly as going to lower course of this river especially from st. 7, however, the variation of them was independant of the changes of the sampling seasons. The variation of DAIpo values was nearly the reverse tendency with Electric conductivity. The saprobic levels in each station of the Kumho river were oligosaprobic at st. 1, β-mesosaprobic from st. 2 to st. 6, α-mesosaprobic at st. 7, 8, 9 and polysaprobic at st. 10 in the whole sampling seasons.

The epilithic diatoms were collected from 17 stations of the Yangsan-ch`on, a period from December in 1990 to April, August, October in 1991. The assessment of the Yangsan-ch`on was carried out by DAI_po(Diatom Assemblage Index to organic pollution). The DAI_po at each station was calculated by the relative frequency of each diatom taxon, and the water quality chart was made of the plotting by DAI_po. The river pollution index(RPI) was calculated to be 46.74 in December, 52.06 in April, 64.85 in August and 53.30 in October. The total taxa of the epilithic diatoms in this study could be classified as 14 Saprophilous taxa, 86 Indifferent taxa and 21 Saproxenous taxa.

The planktonic diatoms were investigated from six stations in the Naktong River estuary on May 24 in 1994. Total 104 taxa including 3 unidentified taxa were collected and classified into 91 species, 12 varieties and 1 forma belong to 34 genera. Six taxa are new to Korea: Actinocyclus normanii(Grev.) Hust. var. subsalsus(Juhl.-Dennf.) Hust., Cyclotella rossii Ha˚k., Diatoma moniliformis Ku¨tz., Nitzschia capitellata Hust., Thalassiosira weissflogii(Grun.) Fryxell & Hasle, Tropidoneis pusilla(Greg.) Cleve. Aulacoseira ambigua is a dominant species at all stations.
임하호에서의 (臨河湖) 식물성플랑크톤 군집의 (群集) 생태학적 고찰

This study was investigated the ecological study of phytoplankton community from eight stations of Imha lake on May, July, September and November in 1993. Phytoplankton was identified the total 297 taxa, which was composed of 261 species, 29 varieties, 3 forma and 4 unidentified taxa. Standing crops were ranged from 6.Ox10^5unit/l at st. 1 on May to 1.4×10^7unit/l at st. 2 on July. Dominant species were Anabaena soilitaria f. planctonica, Cyclotella comta, Cyclotella meneghiniana, Cyclotella ocellata, Cyclotella stelligera and Synedra delicatissima var. angustissima. Dominant index, diversity index and evenness index were 0.068∼0.750, 0.341∼1.367, 0.183∼0.716, respectively. In relationships between community and physico-chemical factors, chlorophyll-a concentration was showed a law coefficient with the total standing crops but a high with standing crop of C. stelligera. Water temperature was a positive relations with the total standing crops. T-P was showed a low relation with the total standing crops and a negative with A. solitaria f. planctonica. T-N and conductivity were a positive with the total standing crops and standing crop of Bacillariophyceae. This lake was the oligotrophic or mesotrophic type on May but converted from mesotrophic to eutrophic type at all stations on July, September and November by comparison with phytoplankton community and physico-chemical factors.

Hemicycliophora minora Wu, 1966와 Pratylenchoides ivanovae Ryss, 1980를 국내 미기록종으로 보고한다. 현재 국내에는 Hemicycliophora속에서 총 5종, Pratylenchoides속에서 총 3종의 선충이 보고되었으며, 이들 종에 대한 검색표를 첨부하였다. 아울러 주사전자현미경을 이용하여 Pratylenchoides utahensis Baldwin, Luc & Bell 와 Rotylenchus feroxcis Eroshenko의 형태적 특징을 추가적으로 기록하였다. Hemicycliophora minora Wu, 1966 and Pratylenchoides ivanovae Ryss, 1980 are newly collected from Korea. Five species of Hemicycliophora and 3 species of Pratylenchoides were reported in Korea and key is given. Two preciously described species, Pratylenchoides utahenis Baldwin, Luc & Bell and Rotylenchus feroxcis Eroshenko were observed under the scanning electron microscope.
