      • Bacteria가 生産하는 Cysteinedesulfhydrase에 관한 硏究 : (Part I) Isolation and Identification of Cysteiendesulfhydrase producing Bacterium (第一報) Cysteinedesulfhydrase生産菌의 分離檢索 및 同定

        1. In the course of investigation on the metabolism of cysteine by microorganisms, the authors have found that among 70 strains tested Cysteinedesulfhydrase occured most remarkably in the cells of the strain 1-3-2 isolated from the soil when it was grown on a medium containing L-Cysteine. The morphological, cultural and physiological properties of this strain were investigated. From the results, the bacterium was identified as a variety of Aerobactor aerogenes. 2. The cultural conditions for the formation of Cysteinedesulfhydrase by the strain 1-3-2 were also investigated and the results were as follows: 1) The optium pH of the culturing medium was 7.0-7.5. 2) As a carbon source, glycerol was most effective when it was added to the basal medium at 0.1% concentration. 3) By addition of calcium chloride at 0.2% concentration, the formation of enzyme remarkably increased. 4) Maximal formation of enzyme was observed at the end of logarithmic phase of cell growth, thereafter the enzyme activity was diminished rapidly.

      • 왕커핑 목조의 조형적 특성에 관한 연구

        Wang Keping, a wood carver, was bom at a sma1l town of Hebei Sheng around Beijing with an artistic gift from his parents in 1949. But he had to waste his high school days in a period of Great Cultural Revolution. Then he endeavored to be a writer or film star that he had wanted to be, but he suffered from pang not to select such a job by dint of his rebellious character against Communist system owing to Great Cultural Revolution. As an altemative, he began to paint according to a suggestion by a painter friend, with which he could not be also satisfied, and finally determined to be a sculptor. But whereas painting has a long history in China, sculpture does not. Thus what he sculpts for himself is rather a rational truth more or less. For other sculptors at that time had to trod a road of self-education like him. Theme of his initial sculptures was of rebellion or ridicule against political system without exemption. That is, in the initial sculptures such as Silence, Chain, Idol, Fanatic, etc., he expressed the attack towards Mao Zedong or Chinese people’s appearance suffering from Communist regime metaphorically. By the way, it ostensibly seemed to live the artists freedom of creation since Great Cultural Revolution, but virtually rather strengthened control and surveillance. Artists revoltδd against such an artistic, political establishment of Chinese govemrnent. It was a crisis of Tiananmun. The group that guided them in this protest was very ‘Xing Xing Art Group'. In a demonstration by that group members that compared themselves to an endlessly glittering star, Wang Keping was one of leading persons. They were extremely regulated by the government in the freedom of creation. With three group exhibitions, they not only exploited a road to their own autonomous growth, but guided to a road enough to create and display avant-garde art to young artists. Since then, there was a wave of liberation for a moment, but the government’s suppression was more extreme. As a result, some artists and intellectuals was sent to prison, and he searched for a political asylum with intemational marriage along with other artists. After getting married with a French lady, and defected to France, Wang Keping' s art world reached a tuming point. That is a very transition from the representation of political satire to human body, in particular, to that of pure beauty in female body. And after his defection he concentrated much concem on a medium of tree. In fact, he had showed much concem on tree from the beginning of wood carving in China, it was hard to get timber for carving owing to deforestation since the foundation of China. But the abundant timbers in France served for blooming his artistic inspiration. He began to regard tree as organic body. Thus he did not treat carelessly any of trunk, twig, growth ring, knot, etc. that each tree has. He awakened that they harmonize one another in order to create a tree, and a beaut표버 woman’s body that he wants to represent is formed by their combination. That is, he, 파‘e a Neo-platonist, believed that an idea of a beautiful woman is incamated through a material of tree. It was a reason that he implants woman’s body and tree with life, energy, germination and growth simultaneously. Wang Keping' s philosophy of art started with philanthropy. With an eyewitness that Chinese leaders exerted suppression and surveillance over people in a period of Great Cultural Revolution, his philosophy of philanthropy was germinated. It was a result of far-reaching love towards China. He searched for love towards China from not only such love towards human-being, but 려so that towards tradition of culture and art. But that love was not wide-spread nor comprehensive, rather it was only selected in accordance with his artistic idea. What he preferred to Taoism or Zen Buddhism was not to believe therr~ but to incite only parts harmonized with his own among id않 or spirit contained within them...

        분리막/다공 전극형 전기분해 조합공정을 이용한 하.폐수의 고도처리

        본 연구에서는 생활오수, 산업폐수, 축산폐수 등에서 발생하는 질산성화합물 및 난분해성 화합물을 효과적으로 처리하기 위해 막분리법과 다공 전극형 전기분해법을 조합한 하 폐수의 고도처리 기술을 제안하였고 제안 시스템의 효율성을 검토하였다. 제안하는 시스템은 활성슬러지 공정, 막분리 공정, 다공 전극형 전기분해공정의 3단계로 구성하였다. 본 연구에서 구성되는 막분리 공정은 부유물질을 제거해줌으로써 전기분해공정의 부하를 최소화할 수 있는 역할을 담당할 수 있게 하여 시스템을 안정하게 운전할 수 있도록 하였다. 전기분해 하이브리드 공정에 있어서는 다공성 전극으로 구성함으로써 비표면적의 확대로 인한 전극의 효율성을 높였다. 아울러 외부전압을 인가함에 따라 처리제의 공급 없이 장치에 유입된 물을 분해시킴으로써 산화 환원 반응을 유도하였다. 즉 중간체로서 수소 자유전자 라디칼과 산소원자 라디칼이 발생되어 난분해성 유기물을 산화 분해하는 역할을 담당하도록 하였다. 이는 전극 내에서 발생하는 중간체를 폐용질의 분해에 사용하기 때문에 친환경적 처리공법이었다. 실험결과들은 제안공정이 활성슬러지공법에 비하여 우수한 공정임을 보여 주었다. SS제거율은 제안공정, 막분리공정, 활성슬러지 단독공정에서 각각 약 100%, 약 100%, 약 90%였고 COD 제거효율은 제안공정 약 92%, 막분리공정 약 84%, 활성슬러지 단독공정 약 75%였으며 T-N의 제거효율은 제안공정 약 88%, 막분리공정 약 67% 활성슬러지 단독공정 약 58%였다. 이결과는 SS의 제거에 있어서 막분리 하이브리드 공정만으로도 부유물질이 충분히 제거됨을 나타내고 있었다. COD의 제거에 있어서 막분리 하이브리드 공정은 SS분의 제거를 통한 COD와 SS이외의 유기물질이 소량제거 되었음을 보였고 전기분해 하이브리드 공정에 있어서는 유기물질의 산화반응을 통한 분해로 높은 제거효율을 보였다. T-N의 제거에 있어서는 막분리 하이브리드 공정은 SS분에 포함된 부분과 소량의 유기물에 포함된 부분이 제거되고 있는 반면 전기분해 공정에 있어서는 유기물질의 산화분해반응으로 인한 높은 제거효율을 나타내고 있었다. To treat nitrate and non-biodegradable organics effectively in sewage, industrial wastewater and livestock wastewater, the activated sludge process integrated by a membrane separation and a porous electrode- electrolysis was proposed and its efficiency was investigated. The proposed system was consisted of 3 processes; activated sludge, membrane filtration and electrolysis. In the study, the membrane filtration played a role in reducing the load of the electrolysis to operate the proposed process stably. The electrolysis consisted of a porous electrode to increase the efficiency due to the extension of the specific surface area. Additionally, redox reaction in the electrolysis was induced by decomposing influent water as current was applied. As a result, hydrogen free radicals and oxygen radicals as intermediates were produced and they acted as oxidants to play a role in decomposing non-degradable organics. It was environmentally-friendly process because intermediates produced by porous electrode were used to treat waste matters without supplying external reagent. Experimental data showed that the proposed process was more excellent than activated sludge process. SS removal efficiencies of the proposed process, membrane filtration and activated sludge process were about 100%, about 100% and about 90%, respectively. COD removal efficiencies of the proposed system, membrane filtration and activated sludge process were about 92%, about 84% and about 78%, respectively. T-N removal efficiencies of the proposed system, membrane filtration and activated sludge process were about 88%, about 67%, and about 58%, respectively. The SS data showed that SS was efficiently removed in the single of the membrane filtration. The COD/T-N data showed that COD/T-N of membrane hybrid process was treated by removing a little soluble organics and SS, and that COD/T-N of electrolysis hybrid process was treated by oxidize organics with high removal rate.

        우리나라 SCI급 논문의 저자유형별 피인용 격차 분석

        The purpose of this research is to analyze the differences in citation rate by types of author affiliation based on SCI meta data of Republic of Korea (ROK), and to elicit implications. We utilize 627,856 of SCI (Web of Science) meta data from 1984-2015 which include at least one author of organization in ROK. Our data is divided by affiliations of first authors and international collaboration. The result of empirical analysis based on descriptive statistics and regression analysis are also discussed. 이 연구의 목적은 우리나라 연구자들이 작성한 SCI급 연구논문을 대상으로 저자유형별피인용 격차를 분석하고 함의를 얻는 데 있다. 이 연구에서는 Web of Science 데이터베이스를 활용해 1984년-2015년 까지 우리나라 기관 소속 연구자들이 포함된 627,856건의 SCI 논문을 추출하여 실증분석에 활용하였다. 구체적으로 이 연구에서는 제1연구자를 기준으로소속기관 유형, 국제공동연구 여부를 기준으로 집단을 구분하고, 기술통계와 회귀분석을이용한 실증분석을 수행함으로써 분석결과를 활용한 함의를 도출하였다. 연구결과 SCI 논문에서의 양적 성장과 질적 성장 간의 괴리를 가시적으로 확인할 수 있었다. 또한 국내 기관 소속 저자들의 피인용 횟수가 해외 기관 저자들의 피인용 횟수에 비해유의미한 수준에서 낮은 것으로 나타났으며, 이러한 격차는 시간의 흐름에 따라 줄어들지않고 지속되고 있는 것으로 확인되었다. 이러한 결과는 질적 평가를 강화하고 있는 연구개발성과평가 제도의 최근 추세를 일부 지지하기도 하지만, 한편으로는 제도의 적용에 있어서보다 미시적인 접근의 필요성을 촉구하는 것으로 해석할 수 있다.
