색순도가 개선된 가교 청색고분자재료의 합성과 OLED 특성

디스플레이공정에서 고분자 재료를 이용한 용액공정은 재료사용을 극대화시켜 경제적 손실을 줄일 수 있고,인쇄사이즈에 제한이 없기 때문에 대면적화가 가능하다. 하지만 용액공정의 치명적인 단점은 박막을 형성할 때 용매에 대한 하부막 용해되는 문제가 존재한다. 따라서 안정적인 다층막 구조를 형성하기 위한 방법으로 적층 시 용매 저항성을 부여하기 위해 가교기를도입하여 경화성을 갖는 재료와, EL 특성의 향상을 위해 새로운 정공수송재료를 comonomer로 사용하였다. 이전에 연구된 청색고분자재료에서 사용된 phenothiazine 계열의 monomer 는 발광파장을 red shift 하여 청색 OLED 소자의 색순도가 낮아지는 문제점이 있었다. 새롭게 합성된 정공수송재료를 이용한 청색 고분자 재료는 phenothiazine 에 diphenyl 기를 도입하여 extended conjugation 시스템을 차단하는 효과를 통한 색순도 개선을 기대하였다. ^** This research was also supported by the Ministry of Trade,Industry & Energy (MOTIE, Korea) under the Industrial TechnologyInnovation Program. Confucian didactics had been well practiced among gentlmen in the buraucratic society of Lee dynasty. The most highly learned, respected, dignified gentlemen with their administrative jobs stood as the ruling class of a cast in the stable society of agriculture. These gentlemen pursued their loyalty toward King, and filial duty to their ancestor, and domination at their household. Value of men's life is evaluated through restraining or controlling in themselues and manage well in their household, they subdued their country into peace. As the gentlemen owned enormous part of lands, they did not have to work as a bread winner for their family, they rather refined their intelligence in study of Chinese characters and kept on themselves faithfully in following Confucion principles. Their refined intelligence and knowledge are utilized in seeking. justifiable way of man's actions rather than their own individual comforts or luxuaries. In the era of the perished country from the last king of Sun Zong to the reign of Japanese rule, a gentleman of a country town, Toyung, found no place to live outside world of his men's society. The herbdoctor Kim in his study room could not look forward to some future life. He had to confront his present existence all its dark and terrifying forms. At his household, Herbdoctor Kim still remains absolutely dignified figurehead. Outside world, he is powerless as a baby. What is the value of the intelligent man's existence? He was unable to find justifiable way of motivation on his action when his past belief of value is not accepted at his society under Japanese rule. What is the value of his life when no longer there exists his traditional belief? Others than Confucians pursued retaining their lands or prosperity of wealth in a way of compromise with Japanese administrators, men or women with their modern education obtained their belief in Western God; Christianity. Since Confucion principle has not led Lee dynasty's traditional gentlemen into any religious solution, and one 5 own comfort or luxury could not be the gentlemen's ultimate aim of their existence, Herbdoctor kim and Mr. Chai in "Earth" had remained in little action of motivation, and in existencialism. Conventional way of realistic attitude is beyond their world. Other men with their physical violence ran into rioting as terrorists against Japanese police or pro-Japanese administrators. However, the traditional intellectuals never beleived in any physical power of violence. Author Mrs. Kungri Park tried to establish image of our traditional intellectuals in both novels, "Herbdoctor Kim's daughters' and "Earth". In Christian cultural society, men's vast problem of modern existence is compared to the world in a picture of Hell where is full of men...living in fear and hopeless self-contradictory hungers. In Christian metaphysics, men try to learn from God how to be happy, which is the firm religions solution. Traditional Christianity has given Western intellectuals self-knowledge as an approach to God. In the twentieth cntury, modern intellectuals could not be satisfied with their solution of Christian metaphysics alone. Protestant ethics are widely criticized. Extencialism has influenced or dominated in modern novels, especially in high brow literature. T.S. Eliot has seen the modern society as Waste land, however, he has indicated us that this modern society of destructive world can be converted in the new order of religious solution. Andre Gide has shown us man's religious doubt by the death of Alisa in "Strait is Gate". Earnest Hemingway tried to stick in strife of masculine beauty in man's action or motivation. Nor­man Maylor has seeked destruction of masculinity of man's existence in the mosern society. Saul Bellow is not gentile. His inner strife in his soul can not be solved in Christian God whom Juda has betrayed. Since he is Jewish and living in Christian cultural society, his extencial struggle for peace is very much alike our modern traditional jn Korea.

Application and Effectiveness of a Commercially Available Video Course for Low Proficiency EFL Students.

The purpose of this study is to look into the application and effectiveness of a commercially available video course as a language-teaching aid for low level students in the foreign language classroom. For this goal, the current study reports on the results of learning English via a video course as an English listening practice subject. Following the English course via video instruction, a questionnaire was administered to 60 learners to ascertain the success of the English instruction and to find which aspects of learning English via video are most appreciated. The findings imply that most English learners find it interesting and satisfactory to learn English via a video course. This represents that learning English via a video course is efficient to promote language proficiency of low level students. Accordingly, it can be summarized that low level English learners have to be encouraged for the wider and steady use of a commercially available video course.

Use of an American TV Drama Glee for Moral and Emotional Lessons

It is often heard that lately, among the young generation, there is a growing tendency to be generally individualistic, immoral, materialistic, selfish and competitive. How can they change? This study strongly argues that the use of a TV drama, one form of film, is a useful tool for developing a deeper understanding of moral and emotional lessons due to its impact on viewers, or students of all ages. This study aims to investigate what moral and emotional benefits there are in using an English TV drama Glee (Murphy & Falchuk, 2009) as a teaching medium in the language classroom. For this end, this study encourages students to learn the moral and emotional lessons through specific use of Glee episodes. The specific moral lessons the students will learn are Future career: Do what you really want to do; Don’t be the bully; Understand others’ identity (sexual orientation); Equal opportunity can exist: Diversity, Minority Issues; Appearance - Self-Esteem / Self Image; Physically Challenged; Teen Pregnancy & Celibacy; and Honesty (Lying). Each lesson section includes the storyline of the episode, related dialogue, students’ responses and teacher’s comments on the issues.

Practical Tips for EFL Native Teachers and Their Employers in Korea

EFL native teachers are constantly being recruited to work and this sometimes causes a number of social problems such as unqualified teachers, native teachers management, cross-cultural misunderstanding in Korea. In this context, this study aims at exploring EFL native teachers’ perceptions about living and working in South Korea, by means of a qualitative analysis of data collected from “Dave’s ESL Café’s Job Information Journal” over a period of 6 months (August 2006–January 2007). Various comments and remarks drawn from more than 300 school, college, university and language institute teachers regarding the working and living conditions of native English speakers teaching in South Korea were reviewed. A list of suggestions are developed for the job-seeking foreigner who wants to visit Korea to teach effectively and the study is also aimed to inform recruiters and employers of ways to increase job and lifestyle satisfaction for their foreign employees.

정책유형에 따른 정책 네트워크 구조 비교분석

본 연구에서는 특정 사례를 중심으로 정책에 대한 투입주의 설명방식을 취하고 있는 기존의 정책 네트워크 연구와는 달리 정책 네트워크 연구의 일반화를 도모할 수 있는 명제를 도출하고자 정책유형과 정책 네트워크 간의 관계를 보다 체계적으로 검토할 필요성에 대해서 논의하였다. 이러한 논의는 결국 정책유형에 따라 정책 네트워크의 구조에 차이가 나타날 것이라는 명제의 도출을 가능케 한다. 정책의 유형은 강제의 수단과 재화의 유형 두 가지 기준을 통해 분배정책, 재분배정책, 경제적 규제정책, 사회적 규제정책으로 분류하고자 하였고, 각각을 대표하는 사례로서 두뇌한국 21, 종합부동산세, IMT-2000 이동통신 사업자 선정, GMO 안전성 규제를 선정하였으며, 정책 네트워크의 구조는 범위, 권력구조, 관계 패턴을 통해 살펴보고자 하였다. 한편 정책유형과 정책 네트워크 간의 관계를 검토하기 위해 네트워크 분석을 사용하였다. 네 가지 사례에 대한 네트워크 분석의 결과, 정책유형별로 네트워크의 범위, 권력구조, 관계패턴에 일정한 차이가 나타나는 것으로 판명되었다.

Infrared(IR) heating has many advantages, such as energy efficiency, reduced heating time, cleanliness, equipment compactness, high drying rate and easy automation. These features of IR heating provide widely industrial applications, such as surface heat treatment in semiconductor fabrication, thermoforming of polymers, drying and disinfection of food products, heating to metal forging, and drying of wet materials. In this study, the characteristics of a protected gold mirror were examined by spectrophotometer and the lifetime of the coating layers were evaluated by a cross-cutting method and salt spray test. The effects of manufacturing conditions on the protected gold mirror were seen and remedies for these effects were noted in order to improve the properties of the protected gold mirror in the drying process. The reflectance and lifetime of the protected gold mirror was influenced by manufacturing conditions, such as surface roughness and forming conditions of the anti-oxide layer, the adhesion layer, the reflecting layer and the protection layer. The results of this study showed that the protected gold mirror manufactured using a buffing method for pre-treatment resulted in the most effective reflectance. In addition, $Al_2O_3$ coating on an Al substrate as an anti-oxide layer was more effective than the anodizing process in the test of reflectance. Furthermore, the protected gold mirror manufactured by layers forming of various materials resulted in the most effective reflectance and lifetime when coated with $Al_2O_3$ as the anti-oxide layer, coated Cr as the adhesion layer, and coated $MgF_2$ as the protection layer.
