1981년 1월1일부터 1985년 12월31일까지 본원 산부인과에 입원하여 병리조직학적으로 경계 성 난소상피종양으로 진단 받았던 21예에 대한 임상 고찰 결과 다음과 같은 결론은 얻었다. 1. 연령분포는 18세에서 64세까지로 평균 연령은 41.6세이었고, 평균 출산력 2.0회이었다. 2. 종양의 좌우측 비는 2.3:1이었으며 종양의 평균직경은 17.9cm이었다. 3. 21예 모두 임상 제1기에 속했으며, 제 Ia기가 17예(81.0%)로 대다수를 점하였다. 4. 병리조직학적 형태로는 점액성 종양 17예(81.0%)이었고, 장액성 종양이 4예(19.0%)이었다. 5. 수술방법은 전자궁적출 및 양측 부속기절제술을 시행한 경우가 11예(52.4%), 일측 부속기 절제술만 시행한 경우 7예(33.3%), 전자궁적출술 및 일측부속기 절제술을 시행한 경우 3예 (14.3%)이었다. 6. 수술후 보조적 치료는 5예(23.8%)에서만 시행하였고, 항암제인 Melphalan을 사용하였다. 7. 추적조사가 가능했던 경우는 12예(57.2%)이었고 이 중 1예에서는 종양의 증거가 발견되었 으며 평균 추적조사 기간은 23.7개월이었다. Clinical study has been carried out in 21 patients with borderline epithelial tumors of ovary at Department of Obsterics and Gyunecology, National Medical Center from January 1. 1981 to December 31. 1985 and the results are as follows; 1. Range of age distribution was 18 to 64 years with a mean of 41.6 years and mean parity was 2.0 2. The ratio of left to right in relation to tumor location was 2.3:1 and mean diameter of the tumors was 17.9cm 3. All the 21 cases belonged to clinical stage I, among which 17 cases (81.0%) was stage Ia. 4. Histopathologically 17 cases (81.0%) were mucinous tumor and 4 cases (19.0%) were serous type. 5. We performed total abdominal hysterectomy with bilateral salpingoophorectomy in 11 cases (52.4%) total abdominal hysterectomy with unilateral salpingoophorectomy in 3 cases (14.3%) and unilateral salpingoophorectomy in 7 cases (33.3%). 6. Five cases (23.8%) were given postoperative adjunctive chemotherapy with Alkeran. 7. Complete follow-up was possible in 12 cases (57.2%) and mean duration was 23.7 months. Evidence of tumor was detected in one case among them.
