        경험 내러티브 전략을 활용한 설득 담화에 대한 저관여 청중의 평가

        In communication initiated for persuasive purposes, the speaker makes decisions in various ways to influence the listener’s change of attitude. One of this is choosing a persuasion strategy. This paper focuses on “experience narrative strategy” which is effective for audience with low interest in speakers or their messages, or for those with resistance to persuasive speech. Persuasive discourse utilizing this strategy was selected for the study, and undergraduate students with low involvement on this topic were asked to evaluate the persuasiveness of the discourse and the effectiveness of the strategy. Using this response and evaluation by audience with low involvement on the discourse implementing “experience narrative strategy,” an analysis was made on how experience narrative is perceived by the audience and through which thought process persuasion effect is brought upon. 설득을 목적으로 하는 의사소통에서 화자는 수신자의 태도 변화에 영향을 주기 위해다양한 측면에서 의사결정을 내린다. 그 중 하나가 설득 전략을 선택하는 것이다. 본고에서는 화자 및 메시지에 대한 관심도가 낮거나, 설득에 대한 저항을 가진 청중들에게효과적인 ‘경험 내러티브 전략’에 주목하였다. 연구를 위해 경험 내러티브 전략이 활용된 설득 담화를 선정하고, 논제와 관련하여 관여도가 낮은 대학생들에게 해당 담화의설득력 및 해당 설득 전략의 효과성 등을 평가하게 하였다. ‘경험 내러티브 전략’이활용된 설득 담화에 대한 저관여 청중의 반응과 평가로부터, 경험 내러티브가 어떻게청중에게 인식되는지, 그리고 어떤 사고 과정을 통해 설득 효과를 가져오는지를 분석하였고, 이로부터 ‘경험 내러티브’ 전략을 활용하기 위해 화자들이 고려해야 할 내용을상세화하였다.

        Development of persuasive public speech education program to experience “target audience” : Focused on university liberal arts lectures. Choi, Youngin. <Abstract> This study focused on the “audience,” which has been continuously emphasized in speech education, and developed a “public speech education program that experiences the “target audience” so that students can learn considering the audience in liberal arts lectures at university. The concept and role of the “audience” approached in each theory from rhetoric to contemporary persuasive communication theories in the pre-theoretical exploration stage of program development were examined. Moreover, considering the specificity of the liberal arts lecture, an eight-step program was devised. When the program focuses on the procedure performed by the “speaker,” the speaker analyzes and interprets the characteristics of the audience, plans and executes the public speech in consideration of the characteristics, and conducts an evaluation from the “target audience” set by him/herself. It is structured so that the speaker can experience the series of receiving processes meaningfully. The developed speech program was reviewed by three experts and applied to a liberal arts course at a university in Seoul in the first and second semesters of 2020. After the application of the program, the direction of the program revision was set based on the evaluation of the students and the review of external experts. .

        The Effects of the FIFA 11+ and Self-Myofascial Release Complex Training on Injury, Flexibility and Muscle Stiffness of High School Football Players

        Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of complex training on injury, flexibility, and muscle stiffness in high school male football players. Methods: A total of 60 football players were included in the study and were divided into three groups viz. the complex training group (CTG), 11+ training group (11+TG), and traditional training group (TTG). Injuries were recorded based on the prospective investigation method after starting the study, and the flexibility and muscle stiffness of the subjects were evaluated. Results: The research results showed that the injury rate per match was significantly lower in the CTG and 11+TG than the TTG. In the CTG, the flexibility of the hamstrings significantly increased and the stiffness of the rectus femoris (RF), biceps femoris (BF), and tensor fascia latae (TFL) muscles significantly decreased (p<0.05). In the 11+TG, the stiffness of the RF significantly decreased (p<0.05). In the TTG, the flexibility of the hamstrings significantly increased (p<0.05). Hamstring flexibility showed a significantly higher increase in the CTG and TTG compared to the 11+TG (p<0.05). Also, the stiffness of the RF and TFL muscles showed a significantly higher decrease in the CTG compared to the 11+TG and TTG (p<0.05). The stiffness of the BF muscles too showed a more significant decrease in the CTG compared to the TTG (p<0.05). Conclusion: The complex training method of the Fédération International de Football Association (FIFA) 11+ and self-myofascial release (SMFR) as a warm-up program, prevent injuries, enhance flexibility, and lower muscle stiffness of football players in high school. Thus, it is necessary to ensure the widespread use of the complex training program by instructors and players under the supervision of the Korea Football Association (KFA), given its reliability in preventing injuries and improving the performance of football players.

        설득 화법의 청중 평가 양상에 대한 고찰 - 영향력 평가와 분석적 평가를 중심으로 -

        설득 담화를 교육하는 장에서 동료 평가 혹은 상호 평가가 활용되고 있지만 청중들이 ‘어떤 기준으로’ 혹은 ‘어떻게’ 화자의 담화를 평가하는가에 주목하는 연구는 거의 진행되지 않고 있다. 본고에서는 대학생의 설득 화법에 대해 청중이 두 가지 방식으로 담화 평가를 수행하게 하고, 그러한 두 가지 평가 결과를 비교하였다. 21개 담화 중 3개 담화에 대한 청중의 영향력 평가 결과와 분석적 평가 결과에서 차이가 발견되었고 그 차이는 통계적으로 유의미하였다. 청중들이 평가의 이유를 기술한 내용과 담화 분석을 통해 그러한 상이한 평가 결과에 관여한 요인을 탐색한 결과 담화 주제의 참신성, 경험/예시를 통한 근거 제시와 감성 설득 전략 등이 영향력 평가에 작용함을 확인하였다. 이런 결과로부터 교실에서 설득 화법 평가를 실시할 때 고려해야 할 시사점을 도출할 수 있다. 첫째, 설득 화법의 교육 현장에서 청중으로서 학습자들에게 평가자의 역할을 위임할 때 ‘어떠한 정체성에 입각하여’ 혹은 ‘무엇을 기준으로’ 평가할지에 대한 안내 및 지침을 분명히 제공해야 한다. 둘째, 청중으로서 학습자들이 ‘설득 화법의 영향력’을 어떻게 인식하고 있는가에 대해 정확히 이해해야 한다. 셋째, 교실에서 화법 평가 방법으로 많이 사용되는 ‘분석적 평가’의 틀로 설득력을 포착할 수 없는 담화의 특성 및 유형이 존재한다는 사실에 대한 추가적 논의가 필요하다. Either peer review or mutual assessment has been applied to an education field of persuasive discourses, but there has been little study on criteria or methods for which an audience assesses a speaker’s discourse. In this paper, the audience carried out a discourse assessment on college students’ persuasive discourses in two ways, and these two assessment results were compared with each other. Out of 21 discourses, it was found that 3 discourses had a statistically significant difference between analytic assessment results and impact assessment results. It was found that two factors were related to such different assessment results as a result of considering the audience’s report on assessment reasons and performing discourse analysis, and those two factors were 1) novelty of a subject recognized by the audience and 2) the audience’s trust in grounds for the subject through a speaker’s experiences and examples.

        Influence of Slashpipe Exercise on Symmetrical Contraction of Trunk Muscle in Normal Adults

        Purpose: This study examined the effects of slashpipe exercise on reducing the thickness of the left and right external oblique, internal oblique, transverse abdominis, erector spinae, and multifidus muscles. Methods: A total of 29 healthy adult men and women were included in the study. They performed trunk flexion in the supine position and trunk extension in the prone position with a slashpipe and weight bar. The external oblique, internal oblique, and transverse abdominis muscles were measured in the supine position, while the erector spinae and multifidus muscles were measured in the prone position. The data were analyzed using the SPSS ver 21.0 statistical program. The difference in thickness between the right and left sides of the trunk muscle was analyzed by repeated measures analysis. The statistical significance level was set to p<0.05. Results: The results showed that the slashpipe exercise reduced significantly the difference in thickness of the oblique internus and erector spinae muscles compared to the weight bar exercise. Conclusion: The chaotic fluidity of the fluid filled inside the slashpipe could be used as sensory feedback information on body mal-alignment, which would have positively affected the symmetrical contraction of the trunk muscles as a trigger for self-correction. Therefore, it will have a useful effect not only on the health of the general public, but also on low back patients and athletes with muscle asymmetry.

        국어과 교사들의 설득 담화 평가 양상 및 인식에 관한 고찰

        이 연구의 목적은 국어과 교사들의 설득 담화 평가 양상을 살펴서 그들이 설득 담화를 평가할 때 어떤 점에 주목하고 있고, 왜 그러한지를 밝히는 것이다. 현재 학교 교육 개혁 및 교육과정 개정의 방향은 현장 교사들에게 평가 전문성을 요구하고 있다. 그러나 현실적으로 현장 교사들은 이에 대한 대비를 하고 있지 못하다. 이를 해결하기 위해서서는 교사들의 평가 양상을 통해 그들이 가지고 있는 말하기 평가에 대한 인식과 문제점을 파악하는 것이 시급하다고 보았다. 이에 본고는 국어과 교사들의 설득 담화 평가 양상을 통해 그들의 인식을 탐색하고자 하였다. 그 결과, 국어과 교사들은 설득 담화 평가와 관련하여 감성 설득 전략이 활용된 담화에 대해서는 교사들 간에 엇갈린 평가 양상을 보였으며, 동일한 담화를 평가할 때, 어떤 평가 방법을 적용하느냐에 따라 평가 기준을 달리 설정하는 양상을 확인할 수 있었다. 그리고 심층 면담 결과, 이러한 평가 양상의 원인이 국어과 교사들의 설득 담화 본질에 대한 이해와 담화 평가 상황에 대한 의식에서 비롯되었음을 파악하였다. The current direction of secondary education reform and curriculum revision demands teacher's assessment competence. However, on-site teachers are not prepared yet. To resolve it, it is very necessary to understand their awareness through teachers’ actual evaluation aspects. This paper explored their awareness through persuasive discourse evaluation aspect of Korean language teachers. As a result, teachers differently evaluated the discourse by utilizing the emotional appeal in relation to the persuasive discourse evaluation. In addition, upon evaluating the same discourse, it was confirmed that the aspects to set up the different standards for evaluation were shown based on evaluation methods. As a result of in-depth interviews, we understood that the cause of this evaluation aspect came from the awareness of understanding the essence of persuasive discourse and discourse evaluation situation of Korean language teachers.
