지자체 육아종합지원센터의 프로그램에 따른 공간구성에 관한 연구

        홍다은 ( Daeun Hong ),최연숙 ( Yeonsuk Choi ) 한국공간디자인학회 2018 한국공간디자인학회논문집 Vol.13 No.5

(Background and Purpose) The reduction in child care resources and increase in women’s social advancement, attributed to the nuclearization of family and industrialization, have put pressure on parents who face difficulties balancing child-rearing and work. These, along with difficulties in affording child care expenses, have resulted in the severely low birth rate, and thereby need immediate improvement efforts. Although the current trend in child-rearing policy has focused on the establishment of family support, child care, and employment policy, concerns have been raised on the inability of integrated support services, which are linked with the community, to satisfy various needs of the support recipients. Based on the role and function of child care support centers in the community, this study analyzed and compared spatial changes, space composition, and effective utilization of child care support center. This study aimed to propose practical directions for parenting policy that actively reflects the needs of infants and parents, and to suggest efficient program operation, efficient space composition, and realizable improvement of the child care support center. (Method) This study classified and presented spatial characteristics and domains through the case study of domestic and foreign child care support centers that provide child care support policy and related services. This study reviewed dissertations, journal articles, policy and research reports, project results of comprehensive support centers for child care, and education status data. Data on domestic and foreign child care support facilities were gathered through direct visits, correspondence with X, and web site search. (Results) In the case of foreign countries, child care support services are applied in accordance with the needs of the target community, and in cooperation with the local community. In Korea, there is a lack of accessibility and efficient use of space in response to the needs of recipients. In terms of the composition of space, infant-and-parents rooms’ composition and area ratios are relatively low compared with the cases outside the country. The analysis showed that a space configuration suitable for the purposes and necessity of the child care support center’s operation program is required. (Conclusion) The analysis of domestic and foreign child care support policy identified relevant issues and classified program characteristics, which can be referenced to develop approaches for efficient space structure. The findings are useful in designing comprehensive municipal child support centers. The present study also analyzed the policy direction and operation program of domestic and foreign facilities.

근거기반디자인에 의한 간호공간특성 분석에 관한 연구

        양시내 ( Yang Sinae ),최연숙 ( Choi Yeonsuk ) 한국공간디자인학회 2020 한국공간디자인학회논문집 Vol.15 No.8

(Background Background and Objectives) The rapid growth of medical science has been focused on the needs of the patients, whereas an interest in the spatial function and operation of the comprehensive nursing service ward for nurses who perform direct care has been increasing. Since the demand for medical services of patients admitted to the hospital has been expanding rapidly due to increasing awareness, an interest in the spatial function and operation of the comprehensive nursing service ward, which is implemented to overcome the difficulties of caring for patients and reduce the burden, is expanding as well. Among these, the nursing space is the subjective space where holistic and general nursing are performed, and it has a direct impact both on the patient’s safety and treatment outcome. In previous research, studies on integrated nursing and nursing service wards have been conducted in terms of facility improvement and efficient nursing space utilization. However, the research centered on nursing space is insufficient. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to understand the concept and definition of space for the spatial composition planning of the comprehensive nursing service ward based on the evidence-based design and to provide data to understand the characteristics of the nursing space and spatial planning elements. (Method) The purpose of this study by citing the Patient Room Design Checklist and Evaluation Tool approved for online public use as an evaluation tool of The Center for Health Design (2015) in the United States based on evidence-based design through literature review. As a result of the checklist's expert validity, CVI (S-CVI/UA) .89, the final 17 items were prepared for use in case studies. The research method was compared and analyzed through interviews, web surveys, literature reviews, direct visits, and online visits by selecting general hospitals with over 500 beds in the domestic and oversea hospitals with comprehensive nursing service wards. (Result) The analysis results for the nursing space are as follows. In the case of overseas hospitals, the ratio of nursing stations and sub-stations was, on average, 1:8, whereas for domestic cases, it was 1:2.5. As a result, a spatial composition that reflects the characteristics of nursing spaces derived through evidence-based design was required. (Conclusion) This study categorized the characteristics of nursing spaces in the comprehensive nursing service ward with the focus on evidence-based design into the visibility of the space, calmness, and territoriality. Consequently, it made reasonable suggestions for environmental change in Korea. In addition, this study applied the characteristics of the nursing space to the spatial planning stage in the composition of the nursing space and presents scientific and quantitative data through evaluation criteria, which makes it significant.
