지각된 부모의 심리적 통제가 청소년의 정서ㆍ행동문제에 미치는 영향- 정서표현양가성의 매개효과

The purpose of this study is to investigate the mediatory effect of ambivalence-over-emotional expression with regards to the influence of perceived psychological parental control on emotional/behavioral problems in adolescents. For this particular study, a survey was conducted targeting middle school students in Seoul, Gyeonggi, and Jeolla Province. Among the total 308 samples were used in this particular study. The questionnaires included Psychological Control Scale-Youth Self-Report(PCS-YSR), Korean Youth Self-Report(K-YSR), and Ambivalence over Emotional Expressiveness Questionnaire(AEQ). The collected data were analyzed using correlations and structural equation modeling. The conclusions from this study are as follows:First, there was a significant correlation among perceived psychological parental control, ambivalence-over-emotional expression, and emotional/behavioral problems in adolescents. Specifically, the positive correlation appeared between perceived psychological parental control and emotional/behavioral problems in adolescents, between ambivalence-over-emotional expression and emotional/behavioral problems in adolescents, and between perceived psychological parental control and ambivalence-over-emotional expression. Second, ambivalence-over-emotional expression showed a partially mediating effect regarding the influence perceived psychological parental control had on emotional/behavioral problems in adolescents. Consequently, these results can expand the scope of understanding on perceived psychological parental control, which in turn affects emotional/behavioral problems in adolescents. Furthermore, the mediatory effect of ambivalence-over-emotional expression on the two factors is a new finding that has not yet been explored. 본 연구의 목적은 지각된 부모의 심리적 통제가 청소년 자녀의 정서ㆍ행동 문제에 미치는 영향에 대해서 정서표현양가성이 매개하는지를 알아보는 것이다. 이를 위해 서울, 경기, 전라도 3지역의 중학생 총 308명을 대상으로 심리통제 척도(PCS-YSR), 청소년 정서ㆍ행동 문제 척도(K-YSR), 정서표현양가성 질문지(AEQ)를 실시하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS와 AMOS 프로그램을 이용하여 상관관계와 구조모형을 살펴보았다. 본 연구를 통해 얻은 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 지각된 부모의 심리적 통제, 정서표현양가성, 청소년의 정서ㆍ행동 문제 간의 유의미한 상관이 나타났다. 구체적으로 지각된 부모의 심리적 통제와 청소년의 정서ㆍ행동 문제는 정적인 상관을 보였고, 정서표현양가성과 청소년의 정서ㆍ행동 문제도 정적인 상관을 나타냈으며, 지각된 부모의 심리적 통제와 정서표현양가성도 정적상관을 나타냈다. 둘째, 지각된 부모의 심리적 통제가 청소년의 정서ㆍ행동문제에 미치는 영향에 정서표현양가성이 부분 매개 하였다. 이러한 결과를 통해 청소년기의 정서ㆍ행동 문제에 있어 부모의 심리적 통제에 대한 이해를 확장시켰으며, 정서표현양가성에 대한 매개효과를 밝혔다.
