칼빈신학 다시 읽기-"그리스도와의 연합" 사상 관점으로

본 연구 논문의 출발점은 개혁신학 일부 내(內)에 존재하고 있는 칼빈의 "그리스도와의 연합(Unio cum Christo)" 사상의 하나의``신학적 원리``로서의 중요성에 대한 ``인식론적 부재``라는 하나의 신학적 한계로부터이다. 이러한 그 사상의 매우 중대한 신학적 역할에대한 인식의 결여는 아직까지도 개혁 신학 일부 내에서 여전히 현재진행형 상태에 있는 것처럼 보인다. 재언(再言) 하면, "그리스도와의 연합" 사상의 그 진정한 가치가 마치 예수님의 한 비유인 "밭에감추인 보화"(마 13:44)처럼, 지금까지도 여전히 개혁 신학 일부 내에서 매우 깊숙이 숨겨져 있다는 의미이다. 그러나 그 사상은 칼빈의 신학 안에서뿐만 아니라 신약성서 내에서도 매우 광범위하게 다루어지고 있다. 특히 칼빈의 신학 안에서그 사상은 구원론과 성례론에 종속된 단순한 하나의 교리가 아닌, 오히려 대부분의 기독교 주요 교리들과 그리고 매우 다양한 수많은성서 본문들과도 상호 연관성을 가지고서 다루어지고 있다. 한마디로 그 사상이 칼빈신학의 한 ``핵심 사상``처럼 광범위하고도 매우 비중 있게 다루어지고 있다는 사실이다. 그런 관점에서 보면, 칼빈의 신학 안에서 광범위하게 다루어지고 있는 "그리스도와의 연합"(또는 "삼위일체 하나님과의 연합") 사상의 그 본래적인 위치, 범위, 형태, 내용, 신학적 역할, 다양한 비유적 표현들, 다른 신학적 주제들과의 관계, 수많은 성서 본문들과의관계, 다양한 신학적 의미들 그리고 그것의 중요성을 재해석하고 재평가하는 본(本) 신학적 작업이 절실히 필요했다. 왜냐하면 칼빈의신학이 여전히 우리 개혁 신학 내에서 중요한 핵심적 위치에 있기때문이다. The starting point of this dissertation is the theological limitation of the ``epistemological absence`` of the importance of Calvin`s "union with Christ(unio cum Christo)" thought. Up to now the epistemological deficiency of this thought`s very important theological role has not been resolved in Reformed Theology. In other words, the true value of the "union with the Triune God" thought (or "union with Christ" thought) has remained concealed in Reformed Theology, as in a parable of Jesus in the Gospel, "treasure hidden in a field" (Mt. 13:44). The thought has been extensively dealt with in Calvin`s theology and the New Testament, however. In particular, in Calvin`s theology, it is not treated merely as a doctrine subordinated to soteriology and the doctrine of the Sacrament; rather, it has also been treated as having an inter-relationship with various other important doctrines and numerous biblical texts, to the extent that it functions as a core thought of Calvin`s theology. If seen from this point of view, this theological work, which re-interprets and re-evaluates the original location, scope, form, content, theological role, various metaphorical expressions, relationship with other theological themes, meaning, and importance of the "union with Christ" thought (or "union with the Triune God" thought), which has been comprehensively dealt with in Calvin`s theology, was urgently required. Calvin`s theology still occupies an important position in our Reformed Theology.

이민 신학의 그 중심 속에 있는 기독론 ― 존 칼빈의 그리스도와의 연합 사상 관점으로 본 성육신론과 그리스도의 삼중직론을 중심으로

이민 신학과 기독론은 매우 긴밀한 신학적 연관성을 가진다. 한마디로속에 기독론이 있다고 볼 수 있다. 기독론을 자세히 살펴보면 크게 두 개의 기본적인 단계로 이루어져 있다. 그것은 전통적으로 예수 그리스도의 인격에 관한 교리로서의 ‘그리스도의 위격론’과 예수 그리스도의 구원의 사역에 관한 교리인 ‘그리스도의 사역론’이다. 존 칼빈은 그리스도의 성육신과 사역을 통해 하나님의 중재적 임재가이루어졌다고 강조함으로써 그리스도의 인격과 사역 간에 밀접한 관계가 있다고 주장했다. 그리스도의 사역은 다음 세 가지의 선지자, 제사장, 왕이라는 그리스도의 삼중직으로 요약될 수 있다. 본 소논문은 칼빈의그리스도와의 연합 사상 관점으로 접근하여 그리스도의 성육신과 삼중직을 이민 신학의 완벽한 모델으로서 제시한다. 선지자로서 그리스도는 다가오는 하나님의 통치를 선포하는 하나님의은총에 대한 전령이자 증인으로서 하나님의 지혜와 권위를 부여받은 자이다. 그의 선지자적 직무를 통해 우리가 하나님 나라에 합당한 삶을 살도록 권면한다. 제사장으로서의 그리스도는 우리의 죄에 대한 보상으로자신을 드린다. 그 결과 그는 우리를 대신하여 하나님께 완전한 사랑과 순종의 제사를 드림으로 우리를 하나님의 은총 속으로 회복시키신다. 왕으로서의 그리스도는 세상적이 아닌 하늘의, 물질적인 것이 아닌 영적인 왕권을 가지고 악의 세력이 완악함에도 불구하고 이 세계를 다스리며, 하나님의 공의와 평화의 다스림이 궁극적으로 승리할 것을 약속하신다. 이 모든 그리스도의 삼중직의 역할을 통하여 그리스도는 구약의 중재적 사역들을 이루신다. 그 결과 하나님의 백성으로 하여금 하나님께 나아가게 하고 하나님의 은총을 입게 하시는 영원한 중재자가 되시는 것이다. 특히 그리스도와의 연합 사상 관점으로 본 그리스도의 삼중직을 이민신학에 적용하면 우리가 예수 그리스도를 따르는 제자로서 다문화 사역자로서 이민 사회와 온 열방과 민족에게 성육신적인 삶을 사는 것뿐만아니라, 그리스도 삼중직 위임을 통해 그리스도의 제자로서 중재자 역할을 감당해야 할 것이다. 이러한 논지를 근거로 해서 이민 신학 그 완벽한 모델로서 그리스도의 성육신과 삼중직을 본 에세이는 심도 있게 다룬다. Migration theology and Christology have a very close theological connection. In a word, it can be said that there is Christology at the center of migration theology. If you look closely at Christology, it consists of two basic steps. It is traditionally the ‘Personality of Christ’ as a doctrine about the person of Jesus Christ and the ‘Work of Christ’ as a doctrine about the work of salvation of Jesus Christ. John Calvin argued that there is a close relationship between the person and work of Christ by emphasizing that God’s mediating presence was accomplished through the incarnation and work of Christ. Christ's work can be summarized in the threefold offices of Christ: prophet, priest, and king. This essay presents the incarnation and threefold offices of Christ as a perfect model for migration theology, approaching from the perspective of Calvin's union with Christ thought. As a prophet, Christ is endowed with divine wisdom and authority as a herald and witness to God’s favor, announcing the coming reign of God. Through his prophetic work, he encourages us to live a life worthy of the kingdom of God. As a priest, Christ offers Himself as a payment for our sins. As a result, he restores us into God’s grace by offering sacrifices of perfect love and obedience to God on our behalf. Christ as King promises that God's reign of justice and peace will ultimately triumph, with a heavenly, not worldly, spiritual throne, not material, ruling over the world despite the hardening of the forces of evil. Through all these threefold roles of Christ, Christ fulfills the mediating ministries of the Old Testament. As a result, he becomes the eternal mediator who enables God’s people to come to God and receive God’s favor. In particular, if we apply the threefold offices of Christ from the perspective of union with Christ thought to migration theology, we not only live an incarnated life in the immigrant society and all nations and nations as disciples of Jesus Christ and multicultural workers, but also the threefold offices of Christ.
