High quality mulberry-processed products, such as mulberry drink, tea and pill, were prepared using mulberry extract and powder mixed with several auxiliary materials through organleptic test about taste, flavour and color. At first, a high quality mulberry drink was made from mulberry extract(20 °Brix) 15%, mulberry cake extract(5 °Brix) 5%, mixed with liquefied fructose 7.0%, sugar 3.0%, oligosaccharide 3.0%, citric acid 0.15%, sodium citrate 0.05%, pectin 0.023%, mulberry perfume(KMC-1087) 0.12%, ionic water 66.0%. Mulberry tea was made from granulated mulberry powder 83%, mixed with sugar 3.39%, oligosaccharide 1.0%, lactose 5%, L-ascorbic acid 6.3%, citric acid 0.2%, mulberry perfume 0.01% and sodiumsilicoaluminate 1.0%. Mulberry pill with hypoglycemic activity was made from mulberry powder mixed with mulberry leaf and silkworm powders in the ratio of 1:1:1:(%). Finally, Mulberry capsule with hypoglycemic activity was made from mulberry fruit, leaf and silkworm powders mixed with crystal cellulose and mannitol in the ratio of 10:10:10:45:25(%). Thus, four different high quality mulberry-processed products may be useful as potential functional foods with anti-diabetic, anti-hyperlipidemic and anti-aging actions.

Axial concentration distribution and axial dispersion coefficient of slurry particles have been investigated in a coal-slurry bubble column(0.10m-IDx1.53m-height). Effects of gas velocity(0.02-0.10m/s), effective slurry viscosity(1.2x10 -3.8x10??Pa ·s) and concentration of slurry particles(10.04-51.25kg-sloid/㎥-slurry) on the axial concentration distribution and dispersion coefficient of slurry particles have been determined. Sedimentation-dispersion model and modified sedimentation-dispersion model have been employed to analyze the axial concentration distribution of slurry particles. The axial distribution of surry particles became uniform with an increase in gas velocity, slurry viscosity and slurry particle concentration. The axial dispersion coefficient of slurry particles increased with increasing gas velocity, and it decreased with increasing viscosity of slurry. The axial distribution of slurry particles from the experiments agreed well with that obtained from the modified sedimentation-dispersion model considering the particles size distribution of slurry particles.

Amino acid mixtures containing waste protein resolved by sodium hydroxide hydorolyzing method were obtained. The composition and concentration of amino acid mixtures were analyzed by high performance liquid chromatography. The disinfectant with tetraminecopper(Ⅱ) sulfate monohydratercu[Cu(NH3)4SO4ㆍH2O] from amino acid mixtures was synthesized. Complexes of synthesized disinfectant(amino acid-copper(Ⅱ) complexes) received by using UV- spectrophotometer were confirmed. Sterilizing power on Escherichia coli, Staphycoccus aureus, Xanthomonas and campestris, Pseudomonas solanacearum was tested and compared to synthesized disinfectant and EG105, used generally. Also, we carried out the experiment of sterilizing ability for abseence of metal ions (Ca2+, PO43-, Mg2+). The sterilizing effect of synthesized disinfectant was better than other being not affected by metal ions (Ca2+, PO43-, Mg2+).

For obtaining of disinfectant surfactant from amino acid mixtures, we treated the butchery wastes which contain much protein by sodium hydroxide hydrolyzing method. The composition and concentration of amino acid mixture were anaslyzed by high perfomance liquid chromatography. The disinfectant agent with Tetrammine copper(Ⅱ) sulfate monohydrate [Cu(NH₃)₄²+]SO₄·H₂O was synthesized by using amino acid. The sterilizing power of the new synthesized disinfectant agent (diammine aminato copper(Ⅱ) complexes) was compared with formaline(CH₂O) and different type copper complex(ET),which is used generally. The sterilizing effect to Edwardsilla sp, Escherichia coli, Salmonella typhi, Bacillus spp, Staphyloccus aureus. Pseudomonas anguilliseptica. Edwardsilla tarda, showed that the new synthesized disinfectants were better than others. The testing of ecological safety effect was applied to toxicity of Rotifer, Altimia and gold fish. The toxic result indicated of the new synthesized disinfectant agent is excellent safe in ecological field.
