The use of high strength steels are gradually increasing to reduce the weight of automobile to improve the environmental problems and collision safety. To encounter the traditional disadvantages of high strength steels like as a poor formability and high springback, hot press forming has been developed. By this method, the strength of steel sheet is increased about three times of original one through die quenching process. In order to the design of hot press forming tools by using numerical simulation, the knowledge of mechanical and microstructural characteristics are required. This study show the mechanical and microstructural characteristics of a high strength boron-alloyed steel according to the various quenching conditions.
Transparent IGZO-based Memristors for Reservoir Computing Systems Fabricated via Microwave Treatment

In this paper, we proposed microwave treatment (MWT) to obtain low power consumption transparent volatile memristors for reservoir computing and successfully demonstrated highly transparent and stable volatile memristor characteristics for ITO/TiOx/IGZO/TiOx/ITO structures. In addition, we found that increasing the MWT time and compliance current (CC) can reduce the device’s volatility, indicating that our device could potentially adjust its volatile behavior. Based on this result, finally, with four consecutive input pulses, we successfully discriminated 16-4bit states, demonstrating the potential of our device as a reservoir computing (RC) system. These results show that MWT seems to be a good method for transparent volatile memory (TVM) study for RC system application because it can control the volatile characteristics of the device over time and has the advantages of low power consumption.
