물 공급 부족 완화를 위한 통합 댐 운영 방법 개발 : 휴리스틱 기법을 이용한 상류 댐 추가 방류 결정

과거의 한 시계열 자료로부터 유도된 단일 댐의 저수지 운영 기준을 미래의 다른 가뭄 시계열의 댐 유입량에 적용하면, 댐의 용수가 항상 안정적으로 공급된다고 할 수 없다. 만일 어느 댐의 용수 공급 부족을 다른 댐에서 보충할 수 있다면 전체적인 용수공급의 안정성을 높일 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 댐 하류 제어지점의 물 공급 부족을 완화하기 위한 상류 댐의 추가 방류 기준을 차원변화 탐색 기법을 이용하여 찾고자 하였다. 낙동강 유역의 비교적 기록 자료가 긴 다목적 댐들을 대상으로 댐 간 운영 규칙을 만들어 하류에서 용수 공급 부족량이 최대한 완화 될 수 있도록 댐의 추가 방류 기준 수치들을 결정하였다. 그 결과 일부 댐의 경우에, 독립적으로 댐의 운영 기준에 따라 감량공급을 통하여 가뭄에 대응하는 것 보다는 댐 간 연계 운영으로 가뭄에 대응하는 것이 용수 공급 부족을 완화시킬 가능성이 있음이 분석되었다. A discrete hedging rule for single reservoir operation can be derived by a historical time series of reservoir inflow. The rule, however, does not always ensure a stable supply of water against different future time series of drought inflow to the dam. If the water supply shortage from a dam may be supplemented by the other dams, overall water supply will be more stable. The purpose of the study is to decide some parameters on additional water supply from upstream dams to lessen water supply shortage at downstream control points by applying the dynamically dimensioned search method. The parameter values of additional water supply were decided for five multipurpose dams in the Nakdong River, having relatively long historical data. The results showed it might be possible for a dam to lessen water supply shortage, compared with the results from independent reservoir operation.
폴리에틸렌 피복전선 화염의 전파에 영향을 미치는 직류전기장의 인가 효과에 관한 실험적 연구

본 연구는 전선화염의 전파특성에 직류전기장이 미치는 영향에 대한 실험적 연구이다. 화염전파는은 0에서 ±7㎸ 범위의 음극과 양극의 전기장을 인가하여 실험되어졌다. 본 연구를 통해 앞선 전선화염 전파에 영향을 미치는 교류전기장 효과에 관한 연구결과와 비교하여 관찰된 다양한 화염 모양 변화의 원인을 알아보고, 화염 전파 속도의 가속특성에 대해서도 논의하고자 한다. 직류전기장의 인가가 전선화염에 미치는 영향은 크지 않지만 이온풍 효과에 따른 미미한 영향은 존재하며, 이것은 온도 균형 메커니즘과 연료 증발기체 분사 효과로 설명 될 수 있다. We experimentally investigated the effect of applied DC electric fields on the flame spread over polyethylene-coated electrical wire. The flame-spread rates over electrical wire with negative and positive DC electric fields from 0 to ±7 ㎸ were measured and analyzed. We compared the results for DC electric fields with previous results for AC electric fields. We explored whether or not various flame shapes could be obtained with DC electric fields and the main reason for the flame-spread acceleration, particularly at the end of the electrical wire, for AC electric fields. We found that DC electric fields do not significantly affect the flame-spread rates. However, the flame shape is mildly altered by the ionic wind effect even for DC electric fields. The flame-spread rate is relevant to the flame shape and the slanted direction in spite of the mild impact. A possible explanation for the flame spread is given by a thermal-balance mechanism and fuel-vapor jet.

본 연구는 교류전기장이 인가된 전선에서의 화염전파특성에 전기장이 미치는 영향에 대한 실험적 연구이다. 폴리에틸렌으로 피복된 전선에서 인가된 교류전압과 주파수에 따라 화염전파율을 도출하였다. 그리고 화염전파는 선형적 화염 전파와 비선형적으로 가속된 화염 전파로 구분되어졌다. 이것은 전선에 인가된 교류전기장에 따라 형성된 전기장 세기의 축방향 분포가 원인이 된다. 그리고 기울어진 전선화염의 화염전파율이 상대적으로 높게 나타났다. 이러한 현상은 온도균형메커니즘으로 설명이 가능하다. In this present study, we experimentally investigated the effects of electric fields on the characteristics of flames spreading over electric-wires with AC fields. The dependence of the rate at which a flame spreads over polyethylene-insulated wires on the frequency and amplitude of the applied AC electric field was examined. The spreading of the flame can be categorized into linear spreading and non-linearly accelerated spreading of flame. This categorization is based on the axial distribution of the field strength of the applied electric field. The rate at which the flame spreads is highly dependent on the inclined direction of the wire fire. It could be possible to explain the spreading of the flame on the basis of thermal balance.

The present study investigated experimentally the effect of electric fields on the characteristics of flame spread over electric-wire with AC fields. Flame spread rates were examined with polyethylene-insulated wires according to the frequency and amplitude of applied AC electric field. The flame spread can be characterized into two; a linear flame spread and a non-linearly accelerated flame spread. This is caused by the axial strength distribution of imposed electric field according to applied AC electric field. The flame spread rate is highly relevant to the inclined direction of wire fire. These can be explained by thermal balance mechanism in detail.

무효전력 경제급전을 고려한 345㎸ 송전계통의 기준 전압 설정 방법

In the cost based pool market in Korea, there is no compensation of reactive power because the fuel cost for reactive power is relatively low compared to that of active power. However, the change of energy paradigm in the future, such as widespread integration of distributed renewable energy source, will prevent the system operator from mandating the reactive power supply without any compensation. Thus, in this study, we propose the reference voltage of the 345 ㎸ transmission system that minimizes the reactive power supply. This is closely related to the economic dispatch of reactive power aiming at minimizing the compensation cost for the reactive power service. In order to verify the effectiveness of the proposed reference voltage, the simulations are performed using the IEEE 14 bus system and the KEPCO real networks. The simulation results show that a voltage lower than the current reference value is recommended to reduce the reactive power supply and also suggest that the current voltage specification for the 345 kV system needs to be reviewed.

In this paper, we propose the protection coordination algorithm using communication methode based on IEC 61850. The communication protocol in power distribution management system has been issued by IEC standard, IEC61850 of them, which was made for substation automation system, has researched to apply into power distribution system, even though the standard is not a suitable for the system. In smart distribution management system" launched in 2009, the communication network based on the ethernet network for IEC 61850 has been designed to apply the self-healing concept, which is to perform the system protection through the communication between remote terminal units(RTU) according to the standard. However, it is first time to apply the scheme in the real. Thus, this paper proposed the protection algorithm and consideration for applying communication method and introduced the result of demonstration.
