Korea, which has entered the ranks of advanced countries in the 21st century Glocal era, has been experiencing low birth rate since 1983, and the number of children of multicultural families who have relatively high birth rates is increasing. However, our military still lacks understanding and cultural tolerance in multicultural society, and systematic preparations for multicultural soldiers are insufficient. Therefore, this study analyzes the actual state of military service policy in preparation for the transition to multicultural army of our military and contributes to the improvement of military combat power by suggesting the direction and roadmap of medium and long-term multicultural military service policy I want to.
Deformation of Amorphous GeSe2 Film under Uniaxial Pressure Applied at Elevated Temperatures

In an effort to evaluate the practicability of an imprinting technique for amorphous chalcogenide film in Ge-based compositions, we investigate the deformation behavior of the surface of amorphous GeSe2 film deposited via a thermal evaporation route according to varying static loads applied at elevated temperatures. We observe that, under these static loading conditions, crystallization tends to occur on its surface relatively more easily than in As-based As2Se3 films. As for the present GeSe2 film, higher processing temperatures are required in order to make its surface reflect the given stamp patterns well; however, in this case, its surface becomes partially crystallized in the monoclinic GeSe2 phase. The increased vulnerability of this amorphous GeSe2 film toward surface crystallization under static loading, when compared with the As2Se3 counterpart, is explained in terms of the topological aspects of its amorphous structure.

The ROK military is expected to gradually increase the enlistment of children of multicultural families as the military service law has been amended as of January 29, 2010. It is possible to say that the purpose of this study is to establish a customized active duty recruitment system for multicultural families and a user-centered integrated portal military administration system to propose a framework of military policy and to prepare for environmental changes to multicultural military. I would like to contribute to sincere defense duties and enhance military combat strength.

We have fabricated silicon-rich silica thin films via RF magnetron sputtering using a SiO target. Thickness evolution and microstructure change of such $SiO_x$ (1<x<2) films were investigated in terms of the substrate temperature during the deposition. Optical interference patterns obtained from a spectroscopic reflectometer were analyzed to yield refractive index dispersion profiles of the deposited film layers in the visible wavelengths. Changes of the refractive indexes were then explained in connection with changes in microstructure and composition of the silicon-rich silicon oxide films. Increase in the number of the Si-Si bonds formed inside the $SiO_x$ thin films turned out to be mainly responsible for the increase of refractive index.
Solution-processed Li-Containing Chalcogenide for Solid Electrolyte Applications

In an effort to derive Li-containing chalcogenide through a solution process for potential use in solid electrolyte applications, sulfide materials with compositions of Li-Ge-S or Li-Ga-Ge-S were fabricated, and their structural changes were investigated in terms of processing conditions. It was experimentally verified that, as for the Li-Ge-S system, GeS2 begins to dominate as the major crystalline phase after heat treatment above 320°C at the expense of GeS and S8 phases, both of which are predominant in the as-dried samples. In the Li-Ga-Ge-S system, the resulting powder materials become more amorphized with increasing amounts of Ga. The prepared solution-processed quaternary samples then exhibited an ionic conductivity of ~2×10−4S·cm−1at room temperature, which is expected to further increase after optimization of the processing conditions as well as compositions.

원자력 발전소의 터빈-발전기 시스템과 같이 일정한 토크와 함께 축 진동에 의한 가변 응력이 인가되는 부재의 경우 비틀림 응력에 의한 피로 파괴 거동을 보인다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 터빈-발전기의 터빈 축에 인가하는 비틀림 응력을 측정하고 응력에 의해 발생하는 피로 파괴 거동을 분석하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위해 터빈-발전기 시스템과 같은 실험 장치를 제작하고 임의의 부하를 인가하여 다양한 비틀림 응력에 대한 피로 파괴 거동을 평가하였다. 특히 기존의 알려진 피로 거동 평가 방법인 응력-수명, 변형률-수명, 균열성장 평가 방법을 동시에 적용하여 평가를 진행하였다. 부하의 크기가 증가하면서 평가 방법과 무관하게 피로 수명이 감소하는 경향이 확인하였으며 5 kV 부하 인가 시 최대 10배의 피로 수명의 감소가 발생하였다. The equipment or with a constant torque and a variable stress due to axial vibration such as the turbine-generator system in nuclear power plant show the fatigue fracture behavior. Thus this study whoul aim to measure the torsional stress and analyze the fatigue fracture behavior. To achieve this, we manufactured the equipment similar with turbine-generator system and applied various torsional vibration stress due to external load. In particular, the evaluation was conducted with the existing evaluation methods of the fatigue behavior of known stress-life, strain-life, crack growth assessment methods. With increasing the external load and independent methods tends to decrease the fatigue life was confirmed up to 10 times in 5 kV external load compared to without external load.

The photomasks for contact-type lithography are vulnerable to electrostatic damage. In the present study, a conducting ITO material was introduced as a bridge between the chromium metal patterns to prevent electrostatic damage. The core of this research was to optimize the material and bridging structure to distribute the accumulated charges effi ciently. On the other hand, when fabricating the bridging circuit, it is challengeable to deposit an ITO material without electrical disconnection due to the inevitable chromium undercut shape caused by isotropic etching during the wet etching process. A method called UV-Assisted-Partial-Strip (UAPS) was adopted in this study. UAPS induces a change in the solubility and erosion properties of resistance through irradiation with 365 nm light and optimization of the alkaline solution process. Focused ion beam- scanning electron microscopy confi rmed that the conducting ITO fi lm was deposited without electrical disconnection on the side of the chromium pattern over the entire area of the photomask. ITO thin fi lm was optimized 20 nm-thick, 3.0 × 10 2 Ω/ sheet resistance, and about 84% transmittance. The subsequent hand roller test and electrostatic discharge immunity test showed that the initiation voltage of the electrostatic melted-typed defect had been increased remarkably.

We have fabricated pressure sensitive paint films consisting of PtTFPP activators dispersed in fluorinated polymer matrix. This matrix material is unique in its composition and structure. We evaluated the oxygen quenching effects, and thus the pressure sensitivity, of the fabricated films in terms of various processing parameters. Based on the experimental results, we anticipate that a good but new pressure sensitive paint would be presented through further elaboration of the polymer compositions and optimization of the processing conditions.
