        통영시 예술인 기념 공간의 조성 과정과 특징

        본 연구는 경남 통영시에 조성된 지역 출신 예술인 기념 공간 조성 추진 배경과 조성 과정의 특징을 분석하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 통영은 윤이상, 박경리, 전혁림, 유치환, 김춘수 등 유명 예술인들의 고향이지만 지역에는 2000년대 중반까지 이들을 기념하는 공간들이 매우 부족하였다. 유명 예술인의 고향이라는 매력적인 장소 자산을 보유하고도 왜 예술인 기념 공간들이 부재하였는지 그 연유를 알아보고, 2000년대 중반 이후부터라는 특정 시기에 집중적으로 대거 조성되었는지에 관한 원인과 공간 조성 과정에서 나타난 특징들을 파악해 보았다. 그 결과 2000년대 이후의 문화와 예술에 대한 관심 제고와 함께 지역 문화예술의 자산 가치에 대한 인식의 고양에 촉발되어 통영시 또한 지역 경제의 활성화 목적으로 예술인의 발굴과 기념 공간 조성에 나서게 되었음을 확인하였다. 특히 대상 예술인을 둘러싼 갈등의 유·무에 따라 기념 공간 조성 주체가 관과 민으로 양분되는 상황으로서, 논쟁의 중심에 있던 윤이상과 고향과 불화(不和)했던 박경리의 경우 통영시가 주도적인 역할을 수행하였고 별다른 갈등 요인이 없었던 전혁림, 김춘수, 유치환, 김용익 등은 유족과 시민들의 적극적인 후원으로 공간 조성이 성사되었음 등을 밝혔다. 통영의 예술인 기념 공간 조성 과정에서 나타난 특징들을 시공간적으로 추적, 구조화 해본 이 연구는 통영과 같은 소도시 지역의 예술인 기념 공간 조성 장소마케팅에 있어 참고가 될 수 있을 것으로 기대한다. This study centers around the question of how the construction of artist museums has affected the strategic place marketing of culture and arts for the city of Tongyeong, Gyeongsangnam-do. The systematic exploration of key aspects of the process, ranging from the socio-economic motivation behind the construction processes, the main agents involved, and to the effects and characteristics is the main goal and scope of the study.

        예술인 기념 뮤지엄이 통영의 문화예술적 도시 이미지 형성에 미친 영향

        본 연구는 경남 통영시의 지역 출신 예술인을 기념하는 뮤지엄들이 지역의 문화예술적 도시 이미지 형성에 미친 영향과 효과에 대해서 고찰하였다. 사례 뮤지엄은 ‘윤이상 기념관’, ‘박경리 기념관’, ‘전혁림 미술관’이다. 해당 뮤지엄에 관한 관광객 설문조사를 실시하여 현재 통영의 문화예술적 도시 이미지 현황을 확인하고, 이들 뮤지엄 조성이 도시 이미지 형성에 어떠한 역할과 기능을 하였는지를 분석하였다. 그 결과, 지역 출신 예술인 기념 공간들이 매우 부족했던 2004년 통영시의 도시 이미지 조사 결과와는 대조적으로 뮤지엄이 여럿 조성된 현재 지역의 문화예술적 도시 이미지는 상당히 높게 평가되었다. 2004년을 기점으로 적극적으로 조성이 시작된 뮤지엄들이 현재 지역의 문화예술적 도시 이미지를 경험할 수 있는 실체적 공간으로서 통영을 예향이라고 느낄 수 있게 해주는 핵심 매개체 역할을 하는 것으로 확인되었다. This paper studies the impacts of museums on the formation of cultural and artistic city image of Tongyeong. The construction processes of the museums celebrating the representative artists of Tongyeong, ‘ISANG YUN’, ‘PARK KYONGNI’, and ‘JEON HYUCKLIM’, in particular, are discussed and characterized. The change of city image brought about by these museums are empirically compared based on the tourist surveys before and after the construction. The level of city image in cultural and artistic nature of Tongyeong formed among tourists in 2013 DEC. is shown to be significantly increased when compared to that in 2004~2005. The museum have played a key role as the mediator such that the visitors would experience tangible space that embodies the artistic and cultural image of the city.

        귀어의 동기와 귀어지 선정 요인에 관한 연구

        The problems such as an aging society, the population cliff, low growth rate and the substantial unemployment rate in the economic climate of Korea have become ambient conditions that affect non-urban areas of the country including fishery villages. A continual “return-to-fisheries” in the domestic labor force, however, had been confirmed by a series of official statistics for the years between 2015 and 2017. This research attempts at analyzing the overall perception of the fishing industries and the settlement conditions of the fishing villages. The target population of the study is confined to the ones who registered for the education program “return-to-fishery school” in Gyeongsang National University College of Marine Science. The main reason for the particular targeting was because the confirmed willingness and voluntary decisions of those to be enrolled in the program may well represent the genuine segment of the population who is serious in migrating back to the fishing industry. The objective of the research is to yield some realistic assessments and suggestions on the policy of revitalizing the fishing industry and the labor force adapted to regional characteristics. The perceived understandings of potential successors of fisheries on the settlement and residential conditions are also investigated. A list of complications inherent in the interplay with the regional cultures of fishery villages and the seamless adaption to the new lifestyles is under compilation. The foreseeable difficulty in marriage for the younger generation, satisfaction levels of life in fishery villages, the physical demands of labor intensity, together with the health issues are on the top of the list. These difficulties are to be addressed properly in policy so that the future residents may be snug in the new environment. In the lack of research related to “return-to-fisheries”, I hope that the results of this study can serve as academic resources that contribute to the improvement and supplementation of various policies and support systems that will be prepared to attract and successfully settle the fisherman who will be responsible for the future capacity of primary industries in fishing villages.

        굴 양식업의 발전과정에 관한 연구-최근 20여년을 중심으로

        Korea's oyster farming industry has been making tremendous progress over 60 years. These achievements are never the result of accidental creation. Therefore, this study explored the development process of oyster farming, the largest fishery farming in Korea, over the past 20 years, found important characteristics that appeared in the process, and analyzed them. The five important features discovered as a result are ‘the revision of the official name of the Oyster Hanging Culture Fisheries Cooperatives’, ‘the introduction of thorough hygiene concept and technology development’, ‘development of new high-value-added varieties’, ‘development and spread of oyster gourmet culture’, and ‘enactment of oyster shell recycling laws’. The word ‘farming’ was deleted from the existing name of Oyster Hanging Culture Fisheries Cooperatives to resolve the negative perception of ‘farming’. In addition, the U.S. FDA's ban on exports of domestic oysters to the U.S. consequently initiated thorough national hygiene management, allowing consumers to consume safe and clean oysters. The underwater aquaculture method enabled mass production of oysters, but behind it caused problems such as deterioration of quality and mass death from overcrowded farming, raising concerns about the future of these farming methods. Accordingly, the domestic oyster seedling production and cultivation industry and the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries have become very interested in single oyster farming, which can create high added value and farm eco-friendly by using less buoys. This single oyster farming is also deeply related to the development and spread of oyster-related gourmet culture. The domestic spread of oyster gourmet culture, which consumes oysters at high-end Oyster bars, has raised demand for high-quality oysters, and innovations in distribution platforms such as early morning delivery have accelerated oyster consumption by enabling delivery from production areas to homes in the Seoul metropolitan area on the day of order. In addition, the problem of disposing of oyster shells, which has been a serious problem in oyster production areas, is likely to be solved by enacting laws that will make them eco-friendly and recyclable. It can be defined that all five characteristics found in the development process of oyster farming over the past 20 years have served as important factors that have had a positive effect on the rapid development of the oyster farming industry.

        수산경영학과 대학생들의 수산업계 진출 의향 여부 및 귀어·귀촌에 관한 인식 연구 -경상국립대학교 해양수산경영학과 사례로

        For the survival and development of the domestic fisheries industry, young and competent talents must be engaged in the fisheries industry, and in this regard, Fisheries Business Administration college students who have already majored in fisheries management have excellent conditions as competitive elite fishermen. This study investigated and analyzed college students in the department of Fisheries Business Administration at Gyeongsang National University on motivation for major application, satisfaction, future prospects and competitiveness of departments, employment hopes, images of fisheries, and willingness to Enter the Fisheries Industry and Return to Fishery and Return to Fishing Villages. Through the research results, it was possible to understand their intention to enter the fisheries industry and their intention to return to fishery and return to fishing village. Therefore, it is possible to present the roles of universities, government agencies, local governments, and fisheries companies for college students in Fisheries Business Administration to enter the fisheries industry.

        멸치권현망 어업사에서 나타난 주요 특징에 관한 연구 - 최근 20여 년을 중심으로

        Dried anchovies produced using by anchovy boat seine fisheries are the representative marine product that is most familiar to modern Korean food culture and consumed in various forms. This study categorized the major features that emerged in the history of anchovy boat seine fisheries history over the past 20 years into historical, cultural, policy, and institutional aspects, and identified and organized their causal relationships. As a result, in terms of history and culture, the anchovy boat seine fisheries Industry Cooperative secured its legitimacy as the oldest fisheries cooperative in the country in celebration of its 100th anniversary in 2019. In 2016, the name ‘anchovy’ was approved for the fish cooperative, and its identity as Korea’s leading anchovy fishing cooperative was recognized. In order to actively reflect changing consumption trends and increase added value, we branded ‘Hallyeosueo’ dried anchovies and promoted small packaging tailored to nuclear families. From a policy and institutional perspective, EEZ sand mining zone in southern sea of Korea, which was considered one of the main factors in the decline in anchovy catches, was actively prevented and ended. The anchovy fishing area, which had long been a source of conflict between the two regions of Gyeongnam and Jeonnam, has also become clear. Many anchovy fishing boat owners are consistently calling for amendments to the bycatch law, which raises the possibility of them becoming criminals. In addition, as there has been a recent influx of applications from anchovy boat seine fisheries ship owners for voluntary reduction projects, it can be inferred that the anchovy boat seine fisheries industry is currently facing serious management difficulties.
