A high dynamic range (HDR) image can be synthesized by using a set of differently exposed low dynamic range (LDR) images. However, ghosting effects often appear in a scene with moving objects. In general, anti-ghosting which consists of detection and correction of moving object regions tends to eliminate image details in the moving object regions. This paper presents a new correction method to preserve image details. For each moving object region, input LDR images are classified into ghosting and non-ghosting images using K-means clustering. The non-ghosting LDR images are utilized to produce final HDR image. Experimental results show that the proposed method achieves better visual quality and detailed information in the synthesized HDR image, compared with the conventional methods.

본 논문은 싱가포르대학교의 고급 한국어 학습자를 대상으로 1학기동안 진행한 프로젝트 기반 수업의 사례에 대한 연구이다. 프로젝트 수업은 학습자가 수업에서 배운 주제들을 교실 수업과 연계하여 교실밖에서도 배운 지식을 적용하고 새로운 지식을 주도적으로 학습할 수 있도록 하기 위해 설계되었다. 프로젝트 기반 수업은 학습자들이 직접 정한 주제에 대한 내용을 다양한 매체를 통해 자료를 취합하고 자료를 조사한 후 주제와 관련된 직업의 종사자 또는 전문가들과 인터뷰를 하는 것이다. 이 수업은 최종적으로 13주차 동안 준비한 내용 및 인터뷰 내용을 발표한 후 동료 평가와 교수자의 최종 평가로 구성되었다. 프로젝트 수업 후, 교사는 프로젝트에 참여한 18명의 학습자를 대상으로 프로젝트 수업에 대한 인식과 만족도 조사를 실시하였다. 조사 결과는 학습자들이 프로젝트 수업에 대해 긍정적으로 인식할 뿐만 아니라 프로젝트를 통해 한국 문화를 더 깊게 알게 되었고 학습자들의 고유문화와 비교하여 분석할 수 있는 기회가 되었다는 점을 긍정적으로 평가하였다. 또한 학습자들은 다양한 매체를 활용하여 한국어를 공부하고 있어서 13주간의 프로젝트 수업을 진행하는 데 큰 도움이 되었다고 밝혔다. 하지만 학습자들은 프로젝트 수업의 주제를 선정하는 부분에서 어려움을 느꼈다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 이에 주제선정 시 교사가 좀 더 많은 자료와 구체적이고 세부적인 지침을 적극적으로 제시하는 것이 프로젝트 수업에 도움이 된다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 본고는 싱가포르대학교 한국어 프로젝트 수업의 실제 사례를 제시함으로써 제2언어 환경에서 고급 학습자를 위한 프로젝트 수업의 설계를 위한 기초 자료를 제공했다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

Education research has pointed to the merits of project work, which can induce the construction of new knowledge through meaningful real-world tasks. In foreign language education, researchers have argued that project work can promote learning through authentic tasks for authentic purposes, enhance student motivation and engagement, and integrate language and content learning. Such content typically includes knowledge of the target language culture, with some researchers advocating the use of project work to foster intercultural competence and critical cultural awareness. This paper describes the use of a 10-week cultural project in an intermediate Korean language course at a Singaporean university, which engaged students in researching aspects of Korean culture and society and producing final oral presentations on topics of their choice. A study of the project’s usefulness for students’ language and culture learning reveals that students perceived it to be useful for their vocabulary acquisition, and their writing and reading skills. They also reported gaining deeper insights into Korea, its culture and its society. In addition, there is evidence that students developed some degree of critical cultural awareness, leading them to a reappraisal of their own country and culture. On the whole, the students found the project to be enjoyable and meaningful, and felt that it helped them gain self-confidence and a sense of accomplishment through their independent research and presentations.
한중 화장품 TV 광고에 나타난 외모 묘사 어휘 대조 연구

This study, starting with K-beauty, selected Korean and Chinese cosmetic TV advertisements by item, and extracted them to contrast the descriptive vocabulary of substantive and predicate from the advertisements. As a result, the descriptive vocabulary of Korean-Chinese dialects was almost identical in semantic distribution. However, in Korean, the metaphor of ‘beauty is [youth]’ was universally used, and the word ‘동안 (dongan)’ appeared frequently. It was found that there are more various derivative words centered on ‘안 (an)’, such as ‘美顔 (meiyan)’ and ‘淸顔 (qingyan)’ in Chinese. And there was no corresponding expression in Korean for an idiomatic expression expressing beauty like ‘秀發 (xiufa)’. In addition, the vocabulary of Korean-Chinese verbs was extracted more than that of tactile adjectives, and it is common that the descriptive expressions of both countries have ‘moisture, soft, firm (水潤, 細膩, 彈潤)’ series of words that represent a sense of touch. However, the difference between the descriptive expressions of idioms in Korea and China is that Chinese is semantically more subdivided compared to Korean expressions. In Korean, tactile adjectives are mostly used. In Chinese, there is a difference in that synesthesia has been transferred to the view of ‘beauty’ in ‘Q彈 (q-tan)’, which represents taste, including ‘粉嫩 (fennen)’, which includes the term of color.
Structural information-based trilateral filter를 사용하는 효율적인 cost aggregation 방법

This paper presents an improved cost aggregation method which resolves the image ambiguity around the object boundary with the similar color. Unlike the conventional cost aggregation method using the bilateral filter which considers the photometric similarity and the geometric similarity, the proposed method aggregates the cost using a trilateral filter based on the structural information. Experimental results show that the proposed method outperforms the conventional method.
간호대학생의 영성, 좋은 죽음 인식, 호스피스 인식이 임종간호 태도에 미치는 영향

Purpose: This study aimed to identify factors that can influence their terminal care attitude and provide basic data for intervention development to foster positive terminal care attitudes among these students. Methods: This study employed a descriptive research method and was conducted from September 8 to 26, 2023, with 168 students from three nursing colleges in Korea. The collected data were analyzed by frequency and percentage, independent t-test, ANOVA, pearson’s correlation coefficient, and multiple regression using IBM SPSS 29.0. Results: A total of 168 students in the study (female 80.4%; Junior 51.2% and Senior 48.8%). The nursing students’ terminal care attitude showed a significant positive correlation with spirituality (r=.24, p=.002), good death perception (r=.19, p=.012) and hospice perception (r=.52, p<.001). The results of the multiple regression analysis showed that the regression model was significant (F=12.77, p<.001) and that hospice perception (=.51, p<.001) explained 26.1% of the nursing students’ terminal care attitude. Conclusion: It is necessary to include hospice perception when constructing the spiritual nursing curriculums in order to improve nursing students’ terminal care attitude.
