국제선 운영변화에 따른 김포국제공항의 항공기 소음 분석

Gimpo International Airport is a strategically utilized airport based on government policy, but there are many residents living around the airport, so it is very sensitive to changes in airport operation. In the past, similar noise results were obtained for aircraft noise at Gimpo International Airport despite changes in aircraft types and an increase in the number of aircraft operating, and recently ICAO proposed a low-noise aircraft noise standard (Ch.14). Since the new standard has a noise reduction effect of up to 15dB compared to existing aircraft noise, ICAO and Europe EASA predict that future aircraft noise will be reduced if the latest technologies such as low-noise aircraft are applied. Therefore, this study establishes the aircraft operation performance and measured noise of Gimpo International Airport in 2022 as a baseline scenario, noise changes using various scenarios of introduction of low-noise aircraft, operation of mid-to-long-distance routes, and changes in future air traffic demand were analyzed using simulation.

Microdisplays based on organic light‐emitting diodes (OLEDs) have a small form factor, and this can be a great advantage when applied to augmented reality and virtual reality devices. In addition, a high‐resolution microdisplay of 3000 ppi or more can be achieved when applying a white OLED structure and a color filter. However, low luminance is the weakness of an OLED‐based microdisplay as compared with other microdisplay technologies. By applying a tandem structure consisting of two separate emission layers, the efficiency of the OLED device is increased, and higher luminance can be achieved. The efficiency and white spectrum of the OLED device are affected by the position of the emitting layer in the tandem structure and calculated via optical simulation. Each white OLED device with optimized efficiency is fabricated according to the position of the emitting layer, and red, green, and blue spectrum and efficiency are confirmed after passing through color filters. The optimized white OLED device with color filters reaches 97.8% of the National Television Standards Committee standard.
전장 상황을 묘사하는 가설 간 관련성을 식별하기 위한 계층적 그래프 신경망

The importance of intelligent command control systems for supporting commanders in their decision-making processes becomes increasingly recognized. In order to establish an intelligent command control system, knowledge bases need to be constructed, and accordingly, a hypothesis-generation method for AI-based battlefield analyses was proposed in a recent study. Since it is necessary to extract knowledge elements related to the commander’s needs or queries to support decision-making, we need to identify the relevance between hypotheses and extract only related ones. However, it is difficult for general neural networks or machine learning models to identify the relevance between hypotheses because the knowledge elements within the hypotheses are interconnected to each other with a hierarchy. In this paper, we propose a contextual learning model based on hierarchical graph neural networks that effectively aggregates battlefield knowledge elements within given hypotheses, by utilizing the hierarchical structure of the hypotheses, and accurately identifies the relevance between the hypotheses. Through experiments, we demonstrate that our model is more accurate than the two baseline approaches, and especially, it achieves a high level of accuracy even when it uses only 40% of the data for training. 지휘관의 의사결정을 지원하는 지능형 지휘통제 체계의 중요성이 높아지고 있다. 이를 위해서는, 전장 상황 정보에 대한 지식베이스 구축이 필요한데, 최근 연구에서 전장 상황 분석용 가설 데이터 생성 방법이 제안되었다. 지휘관의 의사결정 지원을 위해서는 지휘관의 요구나 질문에 관련된 지식 요소를 추출할 수 있어야 하고, 이를 위해서는 가설 간의 관련성을 파악하여 관련된 정보를 추출하여야 한다. 하지만, 가설 내의 지식 요소들은 서로 계층적으로 연결되어 있어 일반적인 신경망으로는 가설 간의 관련성을 평가하는 것이 어렵다. 본 논문에서는 가설의 계층적인 구조를 활용하여 가설 내의 전장 지식 요소들을 효과적으로 집계하고, 이를 기반으로 두 가설의 관련성을 판단할 수 있는 계층적 그래프 신경망 상황 식별 학습모델을 설계하였다. 또한, 제안된 학습모델이 기본 학습모델보다 정확도가 우수하며, 특히 데이터의 40%만 학습에 사용하여도 높은 수준의 정확도를 달성할 수 있음을 실험을 통해 보였다.

Stabilizing color shift of tandem white organic light-emitting diodes

One drawback of white organic light-emitting diodes (WOLEDs) is the white angular dependence (WAD). Aimed to suppress the WAD of tandem WOLED to a negligible degree, we investigated the effect of optical resonance and probed various scattering structures. In a two-tandem configuration, the emissive layer physically remote from the reflective metal electrode is causing detrimental WAD. By combining an external nanoparticle based volumetric scattering film and an internal random nanostructure, it was possible to suppress the WAD of tandem WOLED to a value as low as 0.005, which is indistinguishable to human eyes.
