돼지회충의 근육조직에서 NAD-linked α-Glycerophosphate 탈수소 효소에 관한 연구

The distribution and some properties of α-glycerophosphate dehydrogenase of Ascaris suum muscle has been studied. The activity of cytosolic NAD-linked α-glycerophosphate dehydrogenase (NAD 2-oxidoreductase, EC 1.1.1.8) was measured by the method of Gonzalez-Cerozo and Dalziel and the activity of FAD-linked α-glycerophosphate dehydrogenase (Cytochrome oxidoreductase, EC 1.1.99.5) was estimated according to the method of Swierczynski. The activity of NAD-linked dehydrogenase in homogenate was found to be 323 units per g wet tissue and was recovered about 61% in cytosolic fraction (specific activity: ca. 2.02). The activity of the FAD-linked dehydrogenase in homogenate was found to be 38.9 units per g and was recovered about 26% in mitochondria (specific activity; ca. 0.96). Thus, the specific activity of NAD-linked enzyme in cytosol was found to be about 2.1 fold greater than that of FAD-linked enzyme in mitochondria. The optimal pH for cytosolic NAD-linked enzyme was about 9.0 and the optimal temperature was 55℃. The Km values for sn-glycerol 3-phosphate and NAD' were 4.5mM and 0.63mM, respectively. The present studies revealed that cytosolic NAD-linked α-glycerophosphate dehydrogenase has only one molecular form.
AH-66 Hepatoma 복수세포의 분지아미노산 Aminotransferase에 관한 연구

The activity and isozyme patterns of branched chain amino acid aminotransferase (EC 2.6.1.6) in AH-66 hepatoma ascites cells which were harvested at 7 days after transplantation have been studied. Isozyme patterns of this enzyme were examined using DEAE-cellulose column chromatography. The results obtained were as follows: 1. In the AH-66 hepatoma ascites cells, the transaminase activities for branched chain amino acids were relatively high than those in rat tissues. 2. The distribution of branched chain amino acid aminotransferase in the subcellular organelles showed that 53% of the activity was in cytosolic fraction, 32% in mitochondrial fraction and 16% in nucleic fraction. 3. Isoleucine was the best substrate among the three branched chain amino acids for the enzyme. 4. Cytosolic fraction of AH-66 hepatoma ascites cells contained isozyme Ⅰ, but not isozyme Ⅱ and Ⅲ, of branched chain amino acid aminotransferase. Isozyme Ⅰ was eluted by 20mM phosphate buffer from DEAE-cellulose column and catalyzed the transamination of all three branched chain amino acids. 5. The optimal temperature for the activity of the isozyme Ⅰ was about 45℃ and the optimal pH was 8.0. 6. The Km values of isozyme Ⅰ for leucine, isoleucine and valine were 1.56, 1.09 and 1.49mM, respectively. 7. The Km values of isozyme Ⅰ for a-ketoglutarate and pyridoxal phosphate were 0.32 and 0.012mM, respectively.

There are many causes of bleeding during the latter half of pregnancy with life threatening situation of mother and fetus. Abruptio placentae is the separation of a normally implanted placenta after the 20th week of gestation and before the birth of fetus, so it is one of most serious complications in pregnancy in dealing with maternal and fetal mortality in our country. Several series in the literature suggest that an abnormal fetal-maternal relationship exist in patients with abruptio placentae weeks prior to the actual placental separation and that separation is the only the terminal events. The data presented here are based on the 140 cases of abruptio placentae among 10187 deliveries at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Han Gang Sung Shim Hospital in Seoul, from January 1, 1974 to December 31, 1979. 1) The incidence of abruptio placentae was 1.37% or one in 73 deliveries. 2) The majority of abruptio placentae occured between age 25 and 29, and its percentage was 38.6%. 3) The incidence of abruptio placentae in nulliparous woman was 31.4% and in multiparous woman was 68.6%. 4) The majority of abruptio placentae occured between 35 and 39 weeks of gestational age. It was interesting to identify that more than half(57.1%). 5) Abruptio placentae was associated with preeclampsia and other hypertensive disorders in 48.6% and unknown causes in 50.7%. 6) The most common symptom in our studies was abdominal pain and tenderness(82.1%). Vaginal bleeding was found in 69.3% and intrauterine fetal death in 60.7%. 7) Perinatal mortality had close relationship with duration from onset of abruptio placentae to delivery. If the duration was more than 6 hours, perinatal death was occured more than three quaters of baby. 8) The amount of transfusion in total abruptio placentae was about 2600cc in average and about 1100cc in partial abruptio placentae. The maximum amount of transfusion was 10800cc. 9) Cesarean section was performed in 46.4%, vaginal delivery in 42.9% and cesarean hysterectomy in 10.7%. 10) The complicaions of abrupio placentae in our studies were followed., The frnal failure occurred in 2.9%, shock in 2.9%, coagulation defect in 2.1% and postpartum henorrhage in 2.1%. 11) Perinatal mortality rate was 72.9% including still birth (60.7%) and neonatla death (12.2%). The rate was 75.0% in vaginal delivery and 71.3% in cesarean section. Maternal mortality rate was 0.7% of total cases.

1998년 8월 14일부터 18일까지 전라남도 신안군 우이군도의 조간대에 서식하는 어류를 조사하였다. 조사기간 동안 채집된 어류는 1미기록종을 포함하여 모두 5목 15과 23속 26종이었다. 그 가운데는 망둑어과가 6종으로 가장 많았고 청베도라치과 어류가 4종 순이었다. 조사해역에서 가장 많이 출현한 어종은 점망둑, 두줄망둑, 풀망둑이었다. 한편 우이도 성촌의 조간대에서 채집된 자리돔과 어류 1개체는 Abudefduf bengalensis로 확인되었으며, 이것은 한국미기록종이다.
