This paper analyzes the mechanism of ‘Ideology’ in contemporary political landscape by analyzing modern society as ‘Spectacle-Capitalism’ and finds its own philosophical alternative. Unlike in the past, the way in which ‘Ideology’ works changes in the newly transformed modern society. Capitalism, which has dominated the whole of the world today, does not just dominate the economic realm of production and consumption, but rather a more precise governance strategy, taking over the human linguistic mode of communication as Agamben says. Thus ‘Spectacle-Capitalism’ means a society that has taken control of human linguistic communication through images accumulated through the power of capital. First, this paper analyzes the mechanism of ‘ Spectacle-Capitalism’ through Guy Debord’s ‘Spectacle criticism’ and Agamben’s its interpretation, and tracks the precise ideological mechanism of the Spectacle era. The ‘Spectacle-Ideology’ operates in a more dense but totally irresponsible way, producing the subjects that accept the existing order through the power of today's powerful and brilliant fascination. Therefore, the strategy against it is not easy. Nevertheless, we have to find alternative ways in terms of subjectivity, which is drawn to the power of other fascination and transforms existing order and identity into a new subject. In addition, how to set up a practical task to break the link that the new eventual subject, which is out of existing order and identity, faces the fascinating fantasy created by ‘Spectacle-Capitalism’ and is once again attracted to the fascination of ‘Spectacle-Ideology’, it will be an important challenge.
