Ergonomic methods have been effectively applied to design and evaluation of functional clothing. The goals of the present study are to: (1) develop an ergonomic evaluation system for the systematic analysis of functional clothing and (2) examine the usefulness of the proposed evaluation system by applying to flame-proof clothing. Based on the survey of literature and the brainstorming of experts in clothing design and ergonomics, factors considered for clothing evaluation were selected, classified, and complemented, resulting in an ergonomic clothing evaluation system consisting of four factor categories (clothing construction, user, work and environment, and user response). Using the proposed system, a field survey and a laboratory experiment were conducted for flame-proof clothing to identify its design problems. The field survey to workers found a comprehensive set of problems on the flame-proof clothing design in terms of pattern, textile, and color. The laboratory experiment identified additional design problems using a questionnaire that was developed based on an analysis on the relationship between clothing design components and ergonomic evaluation measures. The present study showed the ergonomic evaluation system and the relationship analysis of clothing design components and ergonomic evaluation measures are of use to identify design problems of functional clothing in a comprehensive and analytic manner.
딥러닝 기법을 이용한 대동맥 동맥경화성 플라크 판별에 관한 연구

고령층의 사망원인 중 높은 비율을 차지하고 있는 뇌졸중, 심장질환은 갑작스럽게 발생하여 사망에 이를 수 있으므로 조기 진단하여 지속적인 관리가 필요하다. 고위험성 질병을 진단하기 위해서는 의료 영상을 이용한 의료진 판독을 통해서 수행되어야 하지만 판독 시간이 많이 소요되거나 의료진에 따라 판독 의견이 달라지는 경우가 발생하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 뇌졸중의 주요 원인인 대동맥 동맥경화성 플라크 상태를 분류하고 영역을 예측할 수 있는 컨볼루션 오토인코더(convolution autoencoder)와 유넷(U-Net) 모델을 수립하여 판독 시간을 단축시키고 정확도를 높이고자 한다. Stroke and heart disease, which account for a high percentage of the causes of death amongst the elderly population, can occur suddenly leading to death. Hence, early diagnoses and continuous management are required. High-risk diseases should be diagnosed through medical personnel using established medical techniques. However, it is time consuming to decide on a diagnosis or the opinion may differ depending on the medical professional. This study aims to shorten the diagnosis period and provide high accuracy diagnoses by establishing the semi-supervised convolution autoencoder and the U-Net models that can classify aortic atherosclerotic plaque conditions and predict the primary locations for stroke occurrence.

This paper presents accelerated degradation test plans considering adoption of tightened critical values. Under a random coefficient degradation rate and log-linear acceleration models, the asymptotic variance of an estimator for a lifetime quantile at the use condition as the optimization criterion is derived where the degradation rate follows a lognormal and Reciprocal Weibull distributions, respectively and then the low stress level and proportions of units allocated to each stress level are determined. We also show that the developed test plans can be applied to the multiplicative model with measurement error.

The present study was to (1) develop an ergonomic evaluation system for the systematic analysis of flame-proof clothing (2) comprehensively examine the effectiveness of clothing improvement by using the relationship analysis between clothing design components (D) and ergonomic evaluation measures (E) and (3) prove the usefulness of cost-effectiveness analysis for clothing design optimization. An ergonomic evaluation system for flame-proof clothing was established which consists of four analysis categories (clothing construction, user demographics, work and environment, and usability metrics). By applying the proposed system, the field survey to workers found a comprehensive set of problems on the flame-proof clothing design. The laboratory experiment identified additional design problems using a questionnaire that was developed based on a relationship analysis between D and E. The cost effectiveness analysis is comprised of the preliminary evaluation based on expertise and the in-depth evaluation where the D-E relationship analysis is applied. As a result of the cost effectiveness analysis applied to flame-proof clothing, an optimal design was identified by analyzing costs and qualitative/quantitative effects. It was concluded that the D-E relationship analysis and the cost-effectiveness analysis are useful for comprehensive evaluation and optimization of flame-proof clothing design.
공압 실린더의 수명시험과 온도 및 압력을 고려한 가속수명시험 결과 비교에 대한 연구

Pneumatic Cylinder is major machinery parts in automatic assembly line that is widely used in various industries. We perform a life test at a use condition and accelerated life test at a accelerated condition of temperature or pressure to predict the life of pneumatic cylinder. First, the lifetime and confidence interval for lifetime of pneumatic cylinder at a use condition are estimated using the life data acquired through life test. Second, the life data acquired through accelerated life test are extrapolated using Arrhenius or Inverse Power Law model and the lifetime at use condition is estimated. Finally, this study validate a accelerated life test result with 95% confidence interval for the life time at life test.

The fatigue curve with estimated parameters represents the estimate of the median or mean life at a given applied stress. But, in order to assist a designer in making decisions regarding the fatigue failure mode, it is common practice to construct a design curve on the lower or safe side of data. In this study, to overcome the limitations(i.e., no runout, equal variance, and quality of the approximation, etc) of Shen, Wirsching, and Cashman`s method which suggested the approximate design curve for nonlinear models using tolerance interval constructed by Owen`s method, an algorithm to find design curves under the fatigue model using a parametric bootstrap method, is proposed and illustrated with multiple fatigue data sets.
