        The effectiveness of the library operation with the least volume is to bring the same amount of utility as the library operating with the largest volume. The major objectives of this study are to evaluate the library collection of Library and Information Division, Korea Rural Economic Institute, the sample library, by the fields and areas of research, and to prepare an alternative for future library collection of KREI. In order to accomplish these objectives, use studies, relative use method, list-checking, and questionaries were used for the analysis.

        초등학교 아동의 유치원적응행동유형간의 비교연구

        The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between type of kindergarten-children and adaptational behavior of children in elementary school. The subjects of this study are 198 children composed of 700 students in the first grade collected at random from elementary school in Dae-gu and Kyung-buk. The instruments for this study has been developed to fit for the korean students with words and culture suitable for them on the basis of the Behavior Rating Scales which was developed originally Long and Henderson(1971). This instruments is composed of 22 questions except 2 questions from original 24 questions. Repeated measurement of ANOVA has been employed to investigate the relationship between children-type and adaptational behavior in school. The major conclusions of this study. 1. There is some difference in adaptational behavior of children in elementary school according to difference of kindergarten-type. 2. The case of graduating from Montessori-program kindergarten is differential in social behavioral adaptation, intelligent ability and behavioral adaptation, behavioral adaptation as demand for the membership in classroom. In case of graduating from Montessori-program kindergarten, intelligent ability and behavioral adaptation is more positive than social behavioral adaptation and adaptation as demand for the membership in classroom. 3. The case of graduating from Piaget-program kindergarten is differential in social behavioral adaptation, intelligent ability and behavioral adaptation, behavioral adaptation as demand for the membership in classroom. 4. In case of graduating from Intergreated-program kindergarten, Social behavioral adaptation and adaptation as demand for the membership in classroom and intelligent ability and behavioral adaptation is not differentially.

        아동이 지각하는 교사행동과 자아존중감과의 관계

        Purpose of this study was to investigate the teacher behavior perceived by chidren and chidren`s self-esteem. The major research questions were as follow 1. What kind of relations will be exist between the subtraits of teacher behavior (Supportive Help, Negative Feedback & Teacher Direction, Work and Rule Orientation, High Expection,Opportunity and Choice) and the subtraits of chidren`s self-esteem (General Self, Social Self Peers, School-Academic, Home-Parents) ? 2. Is there difference according to sex discussing the relations between the subtraits of teacher behavior and the subtraits of children`s self-esteem ? The subject of this study were 432 children composed of 183 boys and 249 girls of fifth and sixth grade in two elementary schools located Tae-gu city. The measurement instrument used in this study were follow: One of the instrument is Teacher Treatment Inventory which was proposed by Weinstein & Middlestadt and modified by Yoon,Soon-Hong(1988) and was composed of four variables (such as Supportive Help, Negative Feedback & Teacher Direction, Work and Rule Orientation, Nigh Expection, Opportunity and Choice) The other instrument is the Self-Esteem Inventory which was proposed by Coopersmith and modified by Lee,Hyoun-Joo(199U) and was composed of four variables (such as General Self, Social Self Peers, School-Academic, Home-Parents) The Canonical Correlation Analysis SAS(Statistical Analysis System)/pc program was employed to examin the correlation between the subtracts of teacher behavior and the subtracts of children`s self-esteem. The major findings of this study were as follow 1. The subtracts of teacher behavior was related to children`s self-esteem. Especially High Expection, Opportunity and Choice and Negative Feedback & Teacher Direction variable in the subtracts of teacher behavior revealed the greatest contribution for the School-Academic variable in the subtracts of children`s self-esteem. 2. The relations between the subtracts of teacher behavior and the subtracts of children`s self-esteem is different according to sex. In other words, Negative Feedback & Teacher Direction revealed the greatest contribution for the prediction of School-Academic variable in the subtracts of boy`s self-esteem and High Expection, Opportunity and Choice revealed the greatest contribution for the prediction of School--academic variable in the subtracts of girl`s self-esteem.

        아동이 지각한 부모의 언어통제유형요인과 자아존중감 요인과의 관계

        The purpose of study was conducted to elucidate the relationship between parents verbal control modes and children`s self-esteem. The subjects of this study were 489 children composed of 216 boys and 271 girls of fifth and sixth grade in two elementary schools located in Taegu. The measurement instruments used in this study were Parents` Verbal Control Modes (Lee, Kyung Hee, 1993) and Self-Esteem Inventory (Coopersmith, 1981). The Canonical Correlation Analysis SAS (Statistical Analysis System)/pc program was employed to examine the correlation between the subtraits of parents` verbal control modes and the subtraits of childrens self-esteem. The major findings of this study were as follow 1. The subtraits of paternal verbal control mode was related to children`s self-esteem, especially imperative control variable in the subtraits of paternal verbal control mode revealed the greatest contribution for the prediction of home-parents variable in the subtraits of children`s self-esteem. 2. The subtracts of maternal verbal control mode was related to children`s self-esteem. especially person-oriented control variable in the subtracts of maternal verbal control mode revealed the greatest contribution for the prediction of home-parents variable in the subtracts of children`s self-esteem. 3. The relations between the subtracts of paternal verbal control mode and the subtracts of children`s self-esteem is different according to sex 4. The relations between the subtracts of maternal verbal control mode and the subtracts of children`s self-esteem is different according to sex.

        미국 뉴욕주의 기후변화에 대한 법적 대응전략과 시사점

        The US consists of 50 states and the climate change impacts are different from state to state. The western states including California suffer with a longer period of draught and serious lack of water, and the eastern state including New York suffer storms, extreme cold, and increase of sudden rainfalls. Among many states of the US, the State of New York is one of the most enthusiastic state to lead the climate change action and to have performed aggressive counter climate change laws and policies. New York is also very similar to the Republic of Korea in terms of geographical and environmental aspects. This article introduces the climate change laws and policies of New York State, to propose some suggestions for the Korean climate change regime. Part II explains the New York Climate and Community Protection Act, which is the main law to respond to the climate change in New York State, and compares the climate change policies before and after the above New York Climate and Community Protection Act. The last part concludes with several suggestions for the Korean climate change regime from the experiences of the State of New York.

        ‘개물림 대책과 그 처리에 관한 법률’의 제안 연구 ― 미국 뉴욕주의 개물림 규제법들을 중심으로 ―

        Every day, as of 2019, on average, 6 counts of dig bite accidents take place in Korea. The Korean people prefer group houses like apartments and more than 90% of the Korean people live in cities where group houses like apartments are a main house form. These group houses are not a good living style to provide sufficient space and freedom for pet dogs. Also, as the Korean economy enters the aged society, the single household and the aged household are increased, which leads to the increase of pet dog for their needs. According to the increase of pet dogs, it is natural and inevitable for the dog bite accidents to increase. So, now it seems that we need more regulations and measures to prevent and curb the increase of dog bite accidents, along with promoting more responsible dog ownership. First of all, at the administrative level, we need a legal system to register a dangerous dog that has attacked a person or showed a vicious attacking propensity toward a person. We also need a strict punishment law to a dog owner and its dog that caused serious bodily damage to persons. This strict punishment system will be an incentive for more responsible dog ownership so as for the dog owners to put more efforts to prevent dig bite accidents. This article is to review the current Korean laws how they are not good enough to prevent dog bite accidents, and to provide a legislative dog bite law proposal. Part 2 will review the current Korean laws related to dog bite accidents, and Part 3 will introduce the experts’ opinions about dog bite accidents, mainly focused on the American Veterinary Medical Association(AVMA) that tries to raise dog bite awareness, with a slogan, “any dog can bite.” Part 4 reviews the dog bite regulation laws of New York State, USA, and Part 5 provides a legislative proposal to regulate dog bite necessary for Korea.

        미국 반려동물 보호법제와 시사점

        한국이 반려동물 인구 천만시대를 맞으면서, 반려동물을 위한 최고의 보호방법중 하나라고 할 수 있는 반려동물신탁 금융상품도 출시되었다. 이는 한국이 반려동물 돌봄에 대한 인식에서 미국 영국 독일과 같은 서구의 흐름을 따라가고 있으며, 반려동물이 더 이상 단순한 반려의 대상이 아니라 인간의 동반자 또는 가족의 한구성원이 되었다는 사회적 경제적 변화를 보여주는 것이다. 반려동물은 물건이기 때문에 신탁법상 법적인 권리능력을 갖지 못하고, 그래서 미국, 영국 등의 영미법계에서는 명예신탁의 일종으로 동물신탁을 인정해 왔다. 본 소고는 2장에서 현재 세계 각국에서 나타나는 반려동물돌봄시장의 성장을 가져온 사회 경제적 동력 요인들을 살펴보고, 3장에서는 미국 반려동물신탁법의 역사적 배경과 특징, 뉴욕주 반려동물신탁법을 살펴보고, 다른 주들의 반려동물신탁 법규정을 뉴욕주와 비교, 분석한다. 4장에서는 미국에서 반려동물을 보호하기 위해 법적인 효력을 지니는 다른 방법들을 소개한다. 마지막으로 5장에서는 한국의 동물보호법 현황과 한국에서 반려동물보호신탁 입법을 할 경우 기본으로 고려할 수 있는 입법안과 함께 시사점을 정리해 본다. The Republic of Korea has now had a record of 10 million pet owners, and a pet-care trust is now on market as one of the best financial products to protect pet. These trends show that Korea is now following the Western advanced countries, including England, USA, and Germany, in terms of the care and perspective for a pet, and also prove a social and economic change that a pet is no longer just a simple petting object, but a companion for a human or family member. Legally speaking, a pet is an animal, and so under the law of trust, a pet cannot have a legal right. However, the common law of the Anglo-American legal tradition has recognized a pet-care trust as an honorary trust. So, this article analyzes the pet-care trust provision of New York State, USA and compares it with those of other states by the distinctive features, along with the historical backgrounds and key features of a pet trust. To do so, first it shows some social and economic factors to bring the growth of pet-care market now noticeable in many developed countries including Korea in part 2. Then, this article concludes with other legal methods to protect pet, thereby providing some suggestions for pet protection discussions in Korea in the future.

        집단미술치료가 학령기 아동을 둔 어머니의 가족건강성과 양육효능감에 미치는 영향

        본 연구의 목적은 집단미술치료 프로그램을 적용함으로써 학령기 자녀를 둔 어머니의 가족건강성과 양육효능감에 미치는 영향은 어떠한지 사전-사후검증을 살펴보고, 이를 통해 가족건강성과 양육효능감간의 관계를 규명하는데 있다. 연구의 대상은 S시 소재 종합사회복지시설을 이용하는 부모와 지역주민 학령기아동 어머니 10명을 대상으로 실시하였다. 집단미술치료 프로그램은 2019년 9월 10일부터 2019년 10월 29일까지 종합사회복지관에서 주 1회, 회기당 150분정도로 총 7회기에 걸쳐 진행되었다. 연구도구는 PASW18.0 프로그램을 활용하여 가족건강성과 양육효능감의 사전-사후에 유의한 차이가 있는지 검증하기 위해 Paired t-test를 사용하였고, 가족건강성과 양육효능감의 관계를 분석하기 위해 상관분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 가족건강성 점수에 대한 사전-사후점수의 차이검증에 따르면 전체점수와 하위요인 점수 모두 증가하는 추세를 보이는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 양육효능감 점수가 프로그램 참여 후 유의하게 증가하였는지 확인에 따르면 전체점수 및 하위요인 점수 모두 증가하는 양상을 보여줬으며 그 중에서도 전반적인 양육능력과 의사소통능력 점수는 통계적으로 유의한 증가양상을 보여주었다. 셋째, 가족건강성과 양육효능감간의 관계를 알아보기 위해 상관분석결과에 따르면 가족건강성 전체점수와 양육효능감의 전체점수는 높은 정적상관 관계를 보여주는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 의의는 집단미술치료 프로그램이 학령기 아동을 둔 어머니의 가족건강성과 양육효능감의 증가와 가족건강성과 양육효능감간의 관계에 긍정적인 영향을 미치고 있음을 보여 주었다. The purpose of this study is to examine the pre- and post-validation of how applying the group art therapy program affects family health and parenting effectiveness of mothers with school-age children, and to identify the relationship between family health and parenting effectiveness. The subjects of the study were parents who use comprehensive social welfare facilities in S city and 10 mothers of school-age children residing in the local area. The group art therapy program was held once a week from September 10, 2019, to October 29, 2019, for a total of seven sessions, one session lasting 150 minutes. Using the PASW 18.0 program, Paired t-test was used to verify that there were significant differences between family health and child-rearing effectiveness before and after, and correlation was conducted to analyze the relationship between family health and child-rearing efficiency. The results of the study are as follows. First, the difference between pre- and post-scores for family health scores shows that both overall and sub-factor scores tend to increase. Second, the confirmation on the significant increase in parenting efficacy scores after participation in the program showed an increase in both overall and subfactor scores, among which overall parenting effectiveness and communication skills scores showed statistically significant increases. Third, according to the correlation analysis results, the overall scores of family health and parenting effectiveness show a high static correlation. The significance of this study was that the group art therapy program increased family health and parenting efficacy, and that it had a positive effect on the relationship between family health and parenting efficacy of mothers of school-age children.
