There are many tiered-reinforced soil walls to construct more than 10m heights as one of the most effective land development. However, those cases in-situ are including severe deformations or cracks of facing block, overall sliding failure and so on. It is likely that a reliable design method was not proposed about large scale reinforced walls. One of the design problems is the stability analyses of two and more tired-reinforced walls having the high embanked slope. There are many manuals of usage in korea but those are not specified except for the lower wall design. Also the range of earth pressure is not clearly in the tiered-reinforced soil walls having the high embanked slope. Therefore, the stability analyses of the tiered-reinforced soil walls should be considering allover the effective sliding stress within the embanked slope condition. This research presents the surcharge on condition and sliding mode for back ground of the tiered-reinforced soil walls by FEM.
